Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Como

A nice set of rooms very close to everything that matters in Varenna. The accommodations were clean and Debora did a wonderful job communicating all information needed for the stay. She is very kind and friendly. The view from the roof is absolutely stunning and deserves some time during your stay with wine and snacks (weather permitting). I would stay again. A couple additional points to share: 1) All rooms are above ground level, so if someone has any mobility concerns, this might be an issue. Furthermore, there are lots of steps everywhere in Varenna. Be prepared to work your glutes. 2) It can be a bit noisy at night, so, if you are a sensitive sleeper, you should grab some ear plugs/buds to help block out noise. The church tower across the street rings all day, including night and early morning.

Our stay was simply great! From booking, communication, check-in, stay to checkout. The accommodation is very centrally located and the important things such as supermarket, restaurants, pubs, gas station, etc. are within walking distance. The stadium of Atalanta Bergamo is also only about 20 minutes away on foot. Around the stadium, there is fast food such as Popeyes and Burger King, as well as a very good pizzeria and, with Mandorlacchio, one of the best ice creams I have ever eaten. All around a wonderful, sunny and successful weekend in which Eleonora with her hospitality has a big share. Many thanks 🙏🏻

Very good welcome from Mario upon our arrival, he recommended a good restaurant nearby. The accommodation was beyond our expectations, very clean, as new. The icing on the cake, the very hearty breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend this stopover near Lake Como.

Oliviero’s apartment is charming and just as the photos online. It’s comfortable with plenty of room. I left the window open at night and so was aware of a few cars going past in the early morning. It can’t be helped. It is ideally placed being 2 minutes walk from the Main Street in Cite Alta., which is just beautiful. I’ve had a lovely holiday. Thank you Oliviero.

We had an early morning flight out of the Milan airport. Silvia's place was the perfect location for the last night of our Italian vacation - a short and easy drive to the airport. The apartment is spacious, impeccably clean, and has comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Silvia went out of her way to bake a delicious cake for our early breakfast. She was very responsive to our questions and accommodating with our check in.

Fabulous stay, highly recommend these hosts and their place. Luisa was very proactive with us and responded to every question, even being able to pick us up from the bus station and drop us back on return. The accommodation is so clean and organised and has every utensil in the kitchen you will ever need. There is plenty of space and comfy seats, two tv's if you need them. Our hosts left snacks, water and wine for us which was very welcome. There is a choice of balconies to decide to have breakfast or a drink on. We loved our stay here.

I loved it at Corte Di Brenta. It is an old style Lombardy Court house, part of a classic Corte Lombarda, northern Italy. In particular I loved the two main bedrooms, each with their own mosaic terrace, where You can sit peacefully sipping a good drink or enjoying some local good food. Lovely view of the surrounding mountains from the back terrace. Great shower cubicle in the upstairs bathroom, with a rain shower and jacuzzi. All is there for your confort and an easy life, and a good holiday. Lovely garden too. Just make Yourself at home. Plenty of fun on offer too in that beautiful area of lakes and mountains. Great eateries and patisseries too, just ask Andrea or the locals. Two places from Me: Circolo Di Arolo, and Pasticceria Marabelli on the Varese Lake. For a great night of food and JAZZ head for Il Sorpasso, Laveno Mombello, on Lake Maggiore. Must book in advance. Life is Good @Corte Di Brenta.

Our stay at Marco's apartment was great! The apartment was very clean, tidy, and pleasant, just as advertised. Check in was flexible and convenient, and also at check out Marco made an effort to come towards us as much as he could. Marco himself was available, friendly and patient, and helped us with everything we wanted – even ordering pizza for us and recommended us an excellent cocktail bar that was exactly to our liking! Unfortunately, he was on vacation, so we didn't meet him in person, nor did we get the massage he usually offers to guests. Instead, his lovely parents welcomed us – even though they don't speak English, they welcomed us with a huge smile, with a big heart and a real willingness to communicate and help, which was very exciting. The surroundings of the apartment were picturesque, quiet and relaxed, with a lovely view of the lake and a sense of nature. There's a supermarket within walking distance and a train station, and it's very convenient. We chose to arrive by car, and it definitely gave us freedom of movement and flexibility, but you can definitely get by without a car – depending on your travel style. In conclusion – warm, personal and pleasant hosting, in an apartment that offers real tranquility. I highly recommend it!

It's a real pleasure to spend a night at Roberta's! You fall asleep with the scent of jasmine and wake up with the birds singing, while having a multitude of restaurants 10 minutes' walk away and the metro right next door. Roberta is very welcoming, her house is warm and her morning coffee is simply excellent! Breakfast served with care. My only regret is not staying longer, I recommend it 100%. B

We wanted a place to stay before our flight back home. This place is really convenient as it is very close to the airport. Silvanna was a really friendly and nice host. The room was spotless and smelled really nice. The room comes with some breakfast and water as well. Overall, we had a really pleasant stay.

Bob was very helpful before our arrival and the staff at Hotel International Au Lac bent over backwards to accommodate us. The room is basic but good, the bathroom as described, old but fully functional and clean. Great breakfast buffet! The room fan was great as it was very warm while we were there. Thanks Bob

Luca was an amazing host. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay. Luca prepared an amazing spread of eggs, fruits and pastries. The room and bathroom were very clean.

We stayed for one night at Paola's place after spending a day at the thermal baths of San Pellegrino. The place was clean, heated, and cozy. We had a great night's sleep and a really spectacular view the next day. I recommend it warmly

I stayed at Paula’s listing for 6 nights with 3 children. The place is lovely and clean and has all amenities needed within a B&B. It was approx 10 mins walk from the train station and 5 mins from a grocery shop. This was a great base to stay for visiting Milan, Monza, Como, Bergamo and others. The breakfast provided was excellent and having Wi-Fi was a plus point with the children. I would definitely recommend this listing for families who need a nice Northern Italian base.

Unbelievable! The place was brand new and the people were more than friendly. We were welcomed by two people that shows us everything they made us feel right at home and although it was already 10 o’clock in the evening, they even offered to cook us a meal. The room was immaculate and breakfast was amazing, this place is on my Airbnb shortlist as of now.

We needed a place to stay for our last night in Italy close to the airport. This spot was ideal, Gabriele was very helpful and responsive on messages after booking, Gabrielle was kind enough to collect us from Ferno Train Station to take us back to the b&b. Gabriele also took us to the local supermarket and to the airport at 6am for our flight very reasonable price. The grounds of the b&b were lovely, very clean all round, bed was comfy and got the best sleep we had all week whilst in Italy. On our last night we just wanted to relax and the TV had Netflix which was ideal. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay again if we return in the future. We had a lovely stay with Luca and Anna! They are such warm and welcoming people that we were sad to leave after two nights. Breakfast was great too! It's a bit far from the town, with a long, curvy road, but absolutely worth it!

Daniele and Sonia were extremely friendly and helpful, the room and the kitchen clean and with nice details. The breakfast had everything we could wish for, even the freshest eggs from their own chickens! We just stayed for one night and it was perfect for an overnight stay on the way back home.
