A luxury self-catering studio apartment with exposed slate walls, on our top (second) floor, Penthouse is suitable for a couple, two adults with a child, or a group of three. It has a solid oak, king-sized bed and a solid oak, single sofa bed, mini-kitchen and living area. The kitchenette has a small hob, fridge, and microwave. The bathroom has a roll-top bath and separate shower. Penthouse also enjoys access to a private roof terrace with stunning panoramic views. Too beautiful to miss!

We're 20 minutes' drive from Kielder and the observatory, and Newcastleton, in a very rural setting amongst fields, woods, hills and rivers. Dogs welcome. We offer breakfast and you're welcome to use the kitchen to cook a light evening meal. We have two double rooms - check our other listing too if there's more than two of you.

The house is situated on a quiet cul de sac in Kendal, a 10/15 min walk from the mainline train station, Oxenholme Station, and a 20-25 minute walk into town. The bedroom is on the ground floor with an ensuite private shower room. We are close to the hospital, ideal if need somewhere to stay if you are working there for a week or two. Breakfast is provided for you in the utility room, you are welcome to use our dining room.
