Farmstay holiday rentals in Dalarna County

We spent two weeks at Katrin's house. Everything met our expectations. Katrin was very friendly, gave us advice and recommended hikes. The lake is very fish-rich and we were able to catch and prepare many pike. The perfect space for quiet fishing holidays! Once Katrin cooked us with our self-captured pike, a really great experience! Thank you for everything!

The house is stunning, spacious, and very well-equipped—perfect for a group of 9, including 4 children( can accommodate almost 13 people). The kids absolutely loved the games and amenities designed for them, which kept them entertained throughout the stay. The outdoor BBQ grill was a great bonus—we had a lovely time cooking and enjoying meals together in the serene surroundings. The location is peaceful and picturesque, making it a truly relaxing getaway. Highly recommended for families or groups looking for a memorable stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much - from arrival to departure. The communication went quick and easily. Barbro was a very nice host, always available and thoughtful. She provided us with lots of helpful tips so that we could really make the most out of our stay. The house is cosy and situated in a beautiful peace of countryside, a place to calm down and relax. We hope we'll be able to visit again some time!

That was the most lovely holiday i had in a lot of years! The cabin is really cosy and the surroundings are just stunning. Most beautiful set up internal and external. A lot of things you can do on the property all very well maintained and all this in the beautiful countryside of the rural sweden. Lakes and a creek are you at the back of the property and directly accesible. And then you have the most lovely landlord Anki helping you whenever you need anything. all i can say is a big Thank you for having the opportunity to enjoy 2 weeks out there.

Hey, Me and my friends had wonderful and relaxing days at Carsten AirBnb. The apartment was clean and tidy, you had everything you needed including enough utensils to cook for 8 people. In particular, the terrace was a dream to have breakfast in the morning with a lake view and then go either to the lake or hike from there. We highly recommend the place and are very happy that we were also allowed to be here as a somewhat younger group.

We had a very nice holiday in Anne's house for two weeks as a family. The house is comfortably furnished and the kitchen is super equipped. We especially enjoyed the peace and proximity of the lake. It was great that we could use Anne's canoe at any time. The environment is beautiful with the many lakes and forests as you imagine Sweden. Ulrike and Hartmut

We had a magical, spectacular experience on the farm with our three sons. We are Americans of Swedish ancestry and wanted to bring our kids to Sweden to experience their heritage. They loved this farm experience. Anna brought us out to see the animals and experience farm life. They had a full kitchen to cook meals. The kids ran around outside and had the time of their lives. They begged to stay longer!

Lovely authentic cottage to rent. Upon arrival there was some goodies and the stove was already on.

We had a wonderful week in Bollnäs – the accommodation was perfect for my husband, my 1-year-old son and me. Everything was stylishly furnished, cozy and thoughtfully equipped. We especially liked the open kitchen. Our hostess thought of everything with a lot of heart: For our one-year-old son, an additional fence was attached to the terrace, so that he could play there safely. In the house itself, there were a lot of toys, and we could borrow some more - outside, there was even a small sandbox waiting for him. One of my personal highlights was fishing with the tip rod in the nearby river. Overall, this accommodation was a place for us to slow down. We have enjoyed nature as a family. Thank you for this special stay – we will be happy to come back!

What a beautiful place! We were received super friendly in a perfect condition cottage that the sheep walked around. We've never felt at home so quickly. Even our daughter felt free to immediately explore the large garden and trampoline. Definitely recommended! Do yourself a favor and book here for a few days. We found our 2 day stay far too short and would have liked to stay longer!

Annah’s country estate in Horndal was more beautiful than we expected! Staying in their home was like taking a step back in time with modern day conveniences ! Relaxing in the hot tub , Surrounded by rolling hills, pastures filled with sheep and horses! Ate our breakfast outside at the table under a large shade tree in the backyard. It was truly an amazing couple of days and would most definitely come back!

Very pleasant environment right next to the cottage, which offered more options than just sleeping. We were offered a kayak, wood was ready for the fireplace, briquettes were prepared in case we wanted to grill. The view of the lake from almost the entire cottage was beautiful. The owner was very pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend, we will be happy to return sometime.

The cottage is typically Swedish and very cozy. In the large bed we slept great and fired up the small fireplace in the evening. Highly recommend.

Very nice, comfortable and private place, loved the house and felt like home, can easily fit up to 13-15 persons (if you are traveling with kids). Great place to relax, will highly recommend and would love to visit again during summers. Hosts were super nice and helpful.
