Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Dundee

Came to visit family and it was like being home from home who ever looks after the location of the property is a credit to the owner of this location because what came across was care and attention in there presention of the property we stayed in each family member who stayed at the house would stay again with in a heart beat very recommended place to stay thank you and made our visit perfect 👌 for what we needed 😊

Gorgeous Airbnb and lovely host. House was equipped with everything and more. Would recommend The Barrelman in the city centre of Dundee. Due to it being a desolate and new area we struggled to get a taxi into the city but hopefully this improves in time.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely family home. The house was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. There were some lovely welcoming touches like the biscuits left for us in the kitchen alongside plenty of tea and coffee and the toiletries in each of the bathrooms. Great location for exploring, particularly if you have a car, but short walk to main bus route. Very quiet residential area. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again if we needed accommodation in the area.

Had a great time here over the New Year period, was exactly what was described on the listing & more. Allan is friendly and helpful with anything you may need. Would definitely recommend this place :)

Was a lovely house. Very clean and in a very good spot. Gary was helpful with any questions we had and also gave us a various of a things to see and places to eat etc. the housekeeper also very kindly put up birthday decorations I had sent them for my partners 30th! would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed the house and the location. We will without doubt be booking again.

This place is like a 5 star Hotel. Immaculate inside and every bed was given a big thumbs up by the family who all sept well. We had some milk, grapes and a scottish treat waiting for us on arrival and was shown around by the agency who looks after the property. Its was easy and everything was explained in detail. The view across the Tay is to die for and the sun shone for our visit. This house feels like a family home as soon as you walk in yet a fraction of the price for 4 rooms at a hotel. Highly recommend this place and if we come back to Scotland we will be checking this house out to stay. Its a real Gem of a find.

Everything you needed for a stay. Road is noisy but knew this when booking. WiFi wasn’t great - didn’t bother me but had to put up with a teenager moaning . Again didn’t bother me but found it misleading that the wood burning stove is mentioned in the description before booking for ‘those cooler evenings ‘. And then once booked informed that it is decorative and not to be used. Perhaps update the listing for the property for others

The apartment is spacious, modern, and very clean. Super comfortable beds providing a great nights sleep. All in all, extremely satisfied. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay here for a family wedding. It's within walking distance of all the great amenities Dundee has to offer. The apartment was wonderful, clean and spacious. We loved having the outdoor terrace too which felt really private. We would definitely stay again if we are back visiting. It was brilliant value for money.

Fantastic stay in the heart of Dundee. Accommodation absolutely 1st class, finished to a very high standard....we all loved it and will hopefully be back!

Steve’s place is a piece of tranquil magic, fabulous views, everything in walking distance, spotless and everything and more you need in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, lounge, it’s just wonderful and I can’t praise it enough. Steve is great as are the staff in the Ship Inn, highly recommended.

Sheryl and Kyle's accommodation was just as described and is located in a beautiful area of Dundee. The flat was emaculate, with everything one needed, a real home from home. Hosts always replied promptly and extremely helpful. Would certainly recommend.

This was my 3rd stay at Mandy's and as always it was pleasant—clean and cozy. The location is great—outside the busyness of the city proper, but within a 10 minute bus ride to local attractions. It is quiet, safe, and peaceful with an excellent view of the Tay. Mandy is friendly and easy to communicate with. Definitely would stay here again.

Flat as described......cosy, clean, comfortable. In a very quite area with easy access to shops and eating places. The kitchen small as described was fully equipped and immaculate. Would recommend and will certainly book again. Top marks to Umer....... a very responsive, helpful and friendly host.

2nd stay here and will be back again. I visit family in Dundee few times a year and this place is perfect for us.

Recommend a visit to the (cash only) bar (no food) at the top of the road, very friendly and good prices. Bring you own cooking supplies, oil etc as the Airbnb stocks only salt and pepper.

Near to everything,town beach bars and restaurants couldn’t be in a better location,Gemma left provisions and treats very thoughtful

Just returned from 5 nights over Christmas at Amanda’s. Such a lovely flat with beautiful decor and homely touches. It was lovely and peaceful and very quiet. We defo return in the future when we visit Dundee.

Good location especially if you have a car. Everything worked well and description was great. Only missing a kitchen table but otherwise a great spot.

Ann was the perfect host, really communicative and friendly in all her messages. The accommodation was superb, fantastic open plan living space which was great for family all being together for New Year. Facilities and amenities in the flat were first rate, we’ve stayed in a few Air BnB properties in Broughty Ferry and Ann’s has been one of the top ones! Looking forward to future stays here. Thanks for making our stay to visit family in The Ferry so easy!
