Cabin holiday rentals in East Cook

This is a great little cabin located in a very private area. It was winter, so we weren't able to enjoy the net hammock but we wanted to :-) The circular staircase to the lower level (where the second bedroom and third bed are) is very tight. Our suitcases were small enough to get down there, but we would have struggled if they were bigger. I also missed the fact there wasn't a dishwasher. Luckily my sons were put to work.

Place is easy to find and really peaceful! The hot tub is really nice also.

We had an awesome time. Beautiful views everywhere. Perfect for us and our family with grandkids. Swimming, jacuzzi, boat dock, a.c. and comforts, kayaks and floats for kids was super nice!!! Loved the outside deck for grilling and eating and relaxing. This place is well equipped. Great job Chad and crew! Kitchen was so well stocked that we didn't need to bring half as much as we did for spices and kitchen amenities. We loved our time and was sad it was over so soon. Close to town made it really nice. Added awesomeness was that we also had great weather! Garage was really convenient to reload and pack our boat on last day when raining. Can't think of a thing we didn't love.

Cedar Lake is stunning. Great views from both cabins which made relaxing on the porches perfect. Fishing was good & other wildlife was abundant. We enjoyed using the canoe, paddle boards, & paddle boat. David is a responsive communicator & was quick to help us with the water glitch in the seasonal cabin. We enjoyed our stay. (To future Airbnb renters: The second cabin is indeed seasonal so keep in mind seasonal cabins come w/ glitches. With that being said, the little cabin was exactly what I personally was looking for.)

We had a amazing stay! Very beautiful and quiet location, the sauna and environment were just what we needed to relax. Close to a immense of amount of locations for every type of mood. Really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of normal life.

This Airbnb was a perfect place for a larger group due to the spacious and well planned space. Everything was high quality and felt built to last, which seems rarer and rarer nowadays. We used the pool/hot tub and pickleball facilities. Pool+hot tub were a nice size and there was plenty of seating. We enjoyed the pickleball but the paddles did seem aged. It would be nice for the resort group to implement self check in for the ease of the guests but Crystal at the front desk was a friendly face.

We stayed here with our four kiddos for a brief spring break getaway. While the snow wasn’t there this year we had plenty of spaces and places to spread out and explore. We would definitely consider coming back again!

Gorgeous cabin in a great spot!

This is a wonderful off grid get away. We did a winter trip and pulled sleds with skis. Brought in water, coffee, and food. Made fires in the stoves for heat, and had a couple great saunas with cold plunges in the lake. Everything required work which is what my group was looking for. Wood to split, fires to feed, and lanterns to see at night. Close enough to ski back to the car and head to Ely anytime we wanted. Would recommend for unplugging from the busy world. Still had cell service if needed, but we stayed on airplane mode for the most part.

This was the perfect weekend getaway for my girlfriend and I. The space was exactly what we were looking for. Very cozy and romantic. We hope to come back again soon! Thanks Roseanne!!

Very cozy cabin directly across from Lake Superior. It was tastefully decorated with a “lake cabin” theme. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, & squeaky clean kitchen and bathroom.

Nikita and Tyson were excellent hosts. This isnt any shock since this was our second visit/stay. Nikita was quick to respond and communicated well. They had cabin stocked with everything you would need to be comfortable. Its a very relaxing and private atmosphere. Both visits were amazing. My partner, step son and I were very comfortable. The beds were comfy and all the board games were a nice touch. If you're looking to unplug and enjoy the simple things in life then this space is perfect. We enjoyed every moment and felt at home- thank you Nikita &Tyson!!

We stayed at John's place in the winter, and it exceeded our expectations. The place was clean and well-stocked. Running the log stove and sauna were a must, as they were the only way to stay warm. We saw a wolf and many other wildlife during our stay. Snowshoeing on the nearby lakes were a highlight. The trails marked by Dave were easy to follow, along with the maps they provided. If you are looking for a peaceful trip surrounded by nature, you found the right place! Thanks to John and Dave for being so helpful and responsive.

Great cabin that's cozy, quiet, and dog-friendly! Very comfortable interior with a cozy living room and lots of natural light. In a quiet neighborhood with a great yard and fire pit to enjoy the outdoors. The location is very close to Lake Superior and a convenient drive to Grand Marais. Leah was a great host, very easy to communicate with and accommodating.

We stayed at Blair and Tanis’s for the weekend it was incredible. The camp had everything we needed from extra blankets to a fully functional kitchen. Everything was clean and well labeled expectations and any information was easily accessible, the lake is beautiful, the multiple decks with mosquito net was a great touch. We used the sauna and it made for great relaxing as the evening cooled off after a warm day. Jaden was so responsive and the directions were so clear, we had a small problem with the keypad lock but Blair came to take a look and he was incredibly friendly and helpful. My friends and I felt so at home at this camp, we would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in NWO and we will certainly be back to stay again!

This place was amazing! The view was unbeatable. We happened to hit it during peak Fall colors and during a local studio art tour- what a treat! Lots of parks and hikes around! Sunrise!!!! Restaurants are plentiful in Grand Marais. The shower situation and outhouse was a little less adjustment, but we made it all work and it definitely wouldn't keep us from coming back! In a sweet way the privative living made us appreciate our lives more and added to the experience! This place is just perfect. Plan to carry your trash out! What a treat!

Another amazing stay at Into the Woods! This was our second time staying here and the property was even better this time around! They added a very nice fire pit and seating area in the backyard, complete with excellent lighting. Danielle and Steve are the most wonderful hosts and made such an effort to ensure we had the perfect visit. If you're thinking about booking this cabin, don't hesitate! We will definitely be back again.

That was my first cabin experience and I want to keep going there. I don´t think I can find any other host who will be better that Alex. He treats you well and is always available with answers. I totally recommend staying on this cabin, its totally worth what you paid for it. I will definetly go back again soon. Thank you Alex for letting me stay there and enjoy the best view I can ask for.

Maren and Derrick were fantastic hosts. Our stay at Fyrre cabin was an absolute perfect escape! From the moment we booked, Maren was extremely welcoming, courteous, and responsive, making communication a breeze. Any questions we had were answered quickly and thoroughly, which made us feel welcome and cared for. As for the cabin itself, it was fantastic! The atmosphere was awesome. We were looking for an escape from the world, and this cabin delivered that and so much more. The quiet surroundings allowed us to truly unwind and recharge. Our kids loved it as well, "BEST CABIN EVER!" Thank you, Maren and Derrick, for providing such a wonderful getaway!

We stayed for 5 nights with two children. The loft was perfect for them to stretch out and offered a bit of independence and area to play. The house is stocked and well thought out and offers anything you might need or forgot to bring along. Make sure to gas up and grab your groceries before you arrive due to the remote location. We mainly stayed nearby enjoying the lake access, use of kayaks, and state park down the road. It was also a convenient spot to explore a little farther out - spent the day in Ely away from the cooler shore. If you're on the fence, go for it! Serenity Lodge offers all the creature comforts of home and more to make a memorable North Shore adventure.
