The small Torricina is part of a hotel spread over several locations (La Torre del Cornone), located in the historic center of Fontecchio (AQ), a five-minute walk from the main square (Piazza del Popolo). Fontecchio is a town with a medieval layout and appearance, located in the heart of the Sirente Velino Park. The Torricina is one of the towers that controlled the Aterno Valley from the southern corner of the walls, with a spectacular view of the green and silent valley of the Aterno River.

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

The mirrors on the house create the impression that it blends seamlessly with nature, and from any window, you can enjoy views of the lake and forest. Relaxing in the wood-fired steam sauna on the terrace overlooking the lake, you can fully experience a connection with the surrounding nature, enjoying its freedom, tranquility, and peace. Water can be poured over the sauna stones to create a pleasant steam.

This new (10/2025) triangular cottage is located on the shore of a small lake just a 20-minute drive from the center of Tampere, but in the middle of a large wooded plot, it feels like you are in the middle of the wilderness. Wake up to the birds singing, enjoy your morning coffee on the jetty and watch the mist rise from the water. Take a hiking or mountain bike trip in a nearby nature park or try your luck at fishing. Evening sauna, hot tub, fireplace and starry sky crown the day.

Det händer något med oss när vi tar oss tid att bara vara. Att leva det lite primitiva livet för en stund utan för den delen behöva tumma på alla bekvämligheter. Att släppa på vardagens bestyr, lägga ifrån sig mobilen och låta sig förunnas av det som finns runt om. Tända en eld, paddla kanot, titta ut över vattenbrynet från sängkanten då även bävern kan simma förbi ibland, koka kaffe och laga mat över öppen eld. Sängen är färdigbäddad när du/ni kommer. Hjärtligt välkommen!
