Waterfront holiday rentals in Eastern Europe

The place is very clean and in a new building, which is in a modern neighborhood. The parking place is a real treat as parking can get quite pricey near the city center. The kitchen is well equipped for a shorter or medium stay, while the combo washer and dryer allow you to pack lighter and do some laundry on the spot. Also, even though you can't see it in the pictures, there is another small room in the apartment where the washer is located, and here you also have some closet space to unpack. The balcony is lovely and is a great spot for enjoying the morning coffee and a bit of fresh air. You can reach the city center in less than 30 minutes on foot, while there are plenty of tram and subway options 5 minutes from the accommodation.

A cottage facing Lake St. Wolfgang, the view from the balcony is very good, the room is spacious and clean, the kitchen is fully equipped, the location is next to the St. Wolfgang Peter Hotel, it is very convenient, the town of St. Wolfgang is also very beautiful, I stayed for three days, I love it here, I went to the meadow, the hilltop, the lake area for hiking, I love it here, I will stay for a few more days next time, because of language problems, I did not have much communication with the host, but he arranged a VIP card for St. Wolfgang for us, there are some small discounts for taking the train, cycling, and boat transportation

Ivana’s flat is really quite special. We chose it for the location and views and it did not disappoint. The beach out the window was delightful…we will hold such special memories of this place! The location was perfect…just outside the walled city, but 80% less crazy than i sode the walls. The flat is small (we are a family of four), but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we spent most of our time outside or looking out the windows at the gorgeous views. Ivana was such an incredible host. She is so friendly and helpful, which we appreciated so much! She arranged for transport to and from the airport and answered every question. We felt like guests and appreciate Ivana and other locals sharing their beautiful country with us!

This Airbnb is in the best location, and has a beautiful view of the walled city. The apartment was small, but it was a perfect size for two people. Also, having a washing machine in unit was a huge help. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

We absolutely loved our stay! Valeria greeted us at check-in and gave us a warm tour of the apartment, which was her and her sister’s childhood home. You could truly feel her love for both the space and for Venice. Valeria was incredibly kind and shared a list of local recommendations—the one we tried was fantastic! The location is just a convenient 7-minute walk from the bus stop but felt very private, with a secure main gate separating the building from the street. The balconies were peaceful and beautiful. We would 110% recommend staying here!

I am still dreaming about the view from the windows! An ideal base to explore Venice and cozy sanctuary to return to, exactly as described—clean, charming, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Caterina was incredibly responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a smooth stay. Everything was wonderful! The location was perfect. Close enough to explore the best of Italy, but tucked away just enough for peaceful mornings and restful evenings. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming Italian experience.

We (a couple) stayed at Espen’s for a long weekend during early June and it was amazing! We were warmly welcomed by his mom and followed Espen’s tip to stop by Eide Handel for groceries before (their coffee is really good). The bed is really comfortable :) I would definitely go back.

The view is a 15/10 and Irena was a great hostess! She was very proactive and took great care of me when I got sick. She made an extra trip with linens and had plenty of suggestions on where to get additional supplies. Even before I felt up for leaving the apartment, the view was healing in and of itself! Irena was also immediately helpful (at 10:30 at night!) in getting on the phone with the internet provider to reset the WiFi after a brief power outage that affected the entire bay. She got us up and running in just a few minutes! So grateful we stayed here!

The most beautiful place in the world!

Dear Tina, We loved „Solli“, your arctic paradise at the sea. So much space and light because of the glassfront towards the fjord. Spectacular view and best private Sauna we ever saw. Everything around the house was so easy, thanks also to the perfect information about everything there was to know you and René provided beforehand and your quick responses whenever we had a question. Even though the house is not „infant safe“ we managed pretty good travelling with a 17 month old boy, since there were no stairs inside going down and the upward ones we could block and since it was summer season no need to use the fireplace. Plenty of room to play in the living room. The kitchen was equipped perfetly. Even a bedroom with the greatest view. We stayed with 3 (and a half😉) generations and everyone loved it. Beautiful thatched roof house with a view of the Bodden. Very tastefully furnished, everything you need is there (only a dishwasher would be great for longer stays). A special highlight for us was the fireplace, sauna and peace. Franziska and Tom were always easy to reach and great hosts. We will be happy to come back sometime

Absolutely wonderful lakeside cottage with a wood sauna and outdoor pool. Peaceful and beautiful environment and cozy and spacious cottage. Everything went great.

Inese and Ronald's house is great. Quietly located and a little off the beaten path. It is very well furnished and has everything you need. There is a great sauna and a wonderful whirlpool. Inese and Ronald responded quickly to inquiries and were very helpful and accommodating. Thank you so much for this great stay.

A beautiful property. Boštjan was very helpful and checked in occasionally to see if there was anything we needed. The free beer and wine provided on arrival was a nice touch after a day of travel.

Josipa’s incredible space is only matched by her warm, wonderful hospitality. We were floored when we saw the views—exactly as stunning as the photos promised—but even more impressed with the intentional style + atmosphere of the impeccable space she has created. We were so glad we got to meet her in person and chat a bit, she is a ray of sunshine and warmth and made us feel so welcomed. The hardest part was leaving—especially after coming home to the apartment to find the sweetest bowl of fresh cherries she’d left for us. A very very special place.

We had a great time in the appartment ! Clean, close to everything, with a terrace from where you could see the river and the city. We were traveling a big groupe and the hosts couldn’t be more friendly and reactive. I definitelly recommend this place. We’ll be happy to come again !

It is a great private accommodation that is clean and has a beautiful view.The host, Lillian, is also kind and quick to respond.Fully equipped with amenities and kitchenware, you don't need to go shopping extra.The surroundings are surrounded by silence, and you can spend quiet time.We were disliked by the weather and the sun breeze and didn't make it possible to see the Northern Lights in our 5 day stay, but if conditions are in place, you will be able to admire them from the deck and the large windows inside.We recommend using a rental car as public transportation is extremely reduced on Saturdays and Thursdays.

We had a wonderful 3 days with my family. Perfectly located, half an hour's drive to everywhere and right in the middle. It was a clean house. We were very pleased. Ilıja took care of us until the last moment. I recommend it to everyone. :)

We had a grand stay in Tobias place. Location is great and being in a cul de sac, nice and quiet. Place is small (toilet is tough if you have long legs!), but a nice place with good fittings. Tobias was very responsive.

Very cozy and spacious apartment, surrounded by nature, quiet with breathtaking views of the northern lights! Johanna is very welcoming, little touches upon arrival and loan of equipment (snowshoes & sleds) it's adorable! I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The place is spacious, beautifully designed, and has an amazing view of the sea. One of my favorite features was the large rooftop — it’s green, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

We booked because another guest's review said "just go for it" and I would offer the same advice to others. We had a great time enjoying coffee & wine on the terrace while watching boat traffic on the Grand Canal. Although there are Vaporetto stops nearby, we walked almost everywhere we went and it was great to explore the neighborhood. For a quiet night in, stop by Fried Land (just around the corner) for excellent take-out pasta.
