The cottage is located on a large private property 6 km from the owner's home. No close neighbors. The cabin can be reached by car. The guest must be an experienced guest who controls the wood-burning fireplaces and the use of a gas stove. Also used to survive in different natural conditions at different times of the year. Drinking and usage water from the lake. Lighting with solar panel. No electricity. Outdoor toilet. Cellar.

Here you live simply but fabulously. The cottage is offgrid but with practical solutions for a comfortable stay. Tourist attractions such as Göta Canal, the largest lake bath in the Nordic region and Berg's locks are close. Borensberg (5 min by car, 10 min by bike) offers swimming areas, mini golf courses, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, interior design shops, good municipal transport and pharmacy. Upon your arrival, we welcome you and go through everything practical that brings an offgrid home. Welcome!

Coziness close to the stations

Written originally in english. Sandhill Cottage is a compact house close to the train and bus-stations. This cozy getaway is perfect for example Onnibus and Santa´s Express travellers. From the Airport you can get a shuttle-bus to the train station or have a 15-minute taxi drive to enjoy your stay. Our home has the utilities for 6 people to relax, cook and get warm after a full day of snow fun! We live in the other building on the same ground and are ready to help and welcome you with our husky!

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

A cozy cottage with an ocean view in a tranquil island, a place where you can start to explore the beauty of Vesterålen. My husband and I started our project in 2017 and finished it in the end of July 2024. I’ve been obsessed with the bay window where I can see the beauty of the view through all the seasons which give me such a different moment in every season to take on. Snuggle up by the fireplace and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate in this enchanting oasis of tranquility on the quiet Estonian peninsula, just forty minutes from exciting Tallinn. If you wish, you can care for and cuddle the fluffy chickens (no obligation!) who live on the premises and over summer listen to the crickets singing amongst the lavender beds.

Wake up to the birdsong, enjoy your morning coffee on the pier and watch the mist rise from the water. Take a hiking or mountain bike trip in a nearby nature park or try your luck at fishing. Evening sauna, hot tub, fireplace and starry sky crown the day.

Here you can walk right from the front door and start your adventure around the Berchtesgaden mountains.
