Our guest house is located in a small village with about 50 people. It is a quiet and peaceful environment in the heart of nature. You have access to several hiking trails in the forest and countryside, proximity to the lake with swimming and fishing and to the village's pride, a really nice bus museum. Our water is of the best quality The guest house includes free parking and WiFi. Unfortunately, we do not have a shop in the village, so buy the groceries you need. We are happy to serve a lovely breakfast at a cost of SEK 100 per person. Please let us know the day before.

Enjoy with your loved one or good friends at this cozy place between Svolvær and Kabelvåg. Fantastic hiking opportunities right outside the door, a walk in the countryside on foot or skiing in our mighty mountains, or just enjoying the view over the sea - the possibilities are there. Use this as your base if you're going skiing. Shops and restaurants are 5 minutes away by car. Museum and the aquarium are 2 km away. Have your base here and drive around and enjoy all the wonderful things Lofoten has to offer in terms of nature and food experiences.

The Lakehouse

Being able to become one with nature in a magical environment is something special. Here you can relax and just enjoy! The building also has a terrace with table & chairs. The building was built in 2023 where building materials are locally produced, furniture & electronics are recycled to get as small a climate footprint as possible. My wife and I also run the accommodation "The View" at the same address and hope our guests will be at least as satisfied with "The Lake House." Feel free to read reviews on "The View"

The horse stable. Farm idyll at Stevns Klint cliff.

Originally listed as a horse stable in 1832, this building is now converted into a charming home with its own kitchen and toilet. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a stop along the way on the bike holiday. On the ground floor you will find an open plan kitchen and living room in one, with access to a private terrace as well as a bathroom. On the first floor there is a spacious room with four single beds and a view of the sea from one end of the room. The home must be left in the same condition as upon arrival.

LOOKING for the Old Steamboat in the Old Steamboat Captains Old Steamboat OutLOOK ... But to put it straight at once; -this is a dead simple shack almost sliding into the breaking waves of the dark deep lake full of annoying trout wakes and paralyzing wet whisper under the floorboards to seduce you straight into nirvana... unless the awkwardly kitschy sunsets starts feeding your insomnia. But don't panic, you will not experience something like this every day. So every minute counts...
