SERENITY AND LUXURY HISTORY TWO STEPS FROM VENICE We host you in a newly renovated apartment, in a building intended for tourist rental with luxury and vintage finishes, located inside the original park of a Villa Veneta, in a beautiful monumental area of Mestre, quiet, safe and rich in greenery in a context that inspires meditation and serenity, luxurious alternative to hotel concierge and tourist chaos. The historic center of Venice is easily reachable by public transport in 20 minutes. Bus and train stops are a 1-7 minute walk from the apartment. Venice airport can be reached in 40 minutes by bus or in 13 minutes by car . The central station of Mestre can be reached in 9 minutes by car and in 16 minutes by bus. The motorway network can be reached in 5 minutes. The apartment is an excellent base for visiting all the places of historical and landscape interest of the Veneto Region. The centers of Treviso, Padua, Vicenza, Verona, are easily reachable by train. Cortina D 'Ampezzo can be reached by car in about 2 hours. The Riviera del Brenta can be reached by car in 30 minutes. The city center of Mestre can also be reached on foot in 20 minutes; about 7 minutes walk you will find shops, restaurants and all the services you may need. Less than 10 minutes walk away is the commercial area of the city with supermarkets and meganegocios. Villa Salus Hospital is a 14-minute walk away. Ospedale dell 'Angelo can be reached in 30 minutes on foot, 18 minutes by bus and 6 minutes by car. The accommodation is an ideal solution for a weekend dedicated to visiting Venice and surroundings or to meet the housing needs for a short trip to work or study (within the time limit imposed by law of no more than 30 days). The apartment of about 52 square meters of useful surface is on the ground floor, very bright, with access to a garden with porphyry pavement, flowerbeds and English lawn. It can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. It has an entrance, a large living area with kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, with hob, traditional oven and microwave, fridge, sink, cutting board, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. The living room is furnished with: an original Luigi Filippo fireplace in marble (which is not allowed to use), a two-step ladder with antique wrought iron parapet, a large round extendable wooden table, n. 5 chairs, a double sofa bed, a single sofa bed, a sideboard with TV, a stem lamp, a laptop station, set of two round tables, a trolley. Bohemian crystal chandelier and Mesmeri wall lamp by Artemide, antique white lacquered doors with glass. Floors in “cemenine” Fioranese. In the entrance there is a large mirror on the wall and an umbrella holder. The double bedroom is furnished with a double bed padded with a container, a bedside table with reading lamp, a wardrobe with chest of drawers and two-door mirrors, a wall bookcase with doors, a crystal bedside table, a suitcase bench in oak stripe, a Mesmeri wall lamp and a chandelier ground in Bohemian crystal. The bathroom with French window is furnished: with sink and mirror, toilet, bidet, shower with shower head and shower, lacquered furniture with shelves, object trolley, ironing board with iron, clothesline and hygiene accessories. The lighting is ensured by recessed spotlights and a spotlight on the mirror. The apartment is air-conditioned with air conditioning and underfloor heating. The safety windows are from the company Schuco with glazing and built-in electrified Venetian curtain. The windows are equipped with wooden shutters. The rooms are illuminated with designer appliques. Floors and coverings are in fine porcelain stoneware and in "Cementine" by Fioranese Wi-Fi is free. Parking is free in the private area of the residence. The access door and the carriage gate are motorized. The openings are coded. The outdoor area including the parking area is video monitored, equipped with evening and night lighting. It is set up in the garden with trees, bushes, ornamental flowerbeds, Trani stone planters and English-style lawn. The manoeuvring and parking area of the cars is made of porphyry and limestone rock. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT Check-in is scheduled from 3.30 pm to 8.00 pm. The timetable must be communicated in advance, at least one day before. After 20.00 it is necessary to agree the arrival time and a refund of €20.00 will be applied. After 22.00 there is a refund of €50. Before 15.30 it is possible to take possession of the apartment if there are no guests departing and if the time is agreed in advance. The guest must sign a rental agreement at the time of booking confirmation and must present an identity document at check-in. You must also pay in cash the amount provided for the tourist tax imposed by law by the Municipality of Venice; the host will be responsible for paying it to the treasury. Any access during the stay by the employees to the technical rooms inside the apartment will be notified in advance. At the time of reception, the staff will present the apartment to the guests and check with them the integrity of the equipment provided. Overnight stay entails the payment of the tourist tax due to the Municipality of Venice, which is not included in the price of the accommodation. The 2019 rate from the first of February amounts to € 4.00 per person/day for the first 5 days - from 10 to 16 years of age the amount is € 2.00 - from 0 to 10 years of age the tourist tax is not due - as established by the Tax Office of the Municipality of Venice -. Tourist tax must be paid at check-in. The accommodation must be left free at the time to be agreed and in any case by 10.00 am on the day of departure. Guests are invited to leave the kitchen tidy, the dishes clean and the garbage packed. Upon return, the person in charge of the check-out will check with the guest the integrity of the equipment provided. In the case of breakages or subtractions, an amount equal to the repair cost or the value of the subtracted objects will be charged. Minimum stay is 2 nights Smoking is prohibited inside the premises Pets are not allowed. The apartment cannot be used for parties and convivial parties. REFUND IN CASE OF CANCELLATION OF THE RESERVATION If the guest cancels up to 15 days before the booked date, they will get a full refund. If the cancellation takes place up to 7 days before, the refund will be 50% of the nights and all costs. If it occurs within 7 days prior to the expected date of arrival there is no refund. Hands Before your arrival you will receive by mail additional information and advice that will be useful to make your stay comfortable. Inside the apartment you will find a detailed description on the use of household amenities and on the services you may need during your stay. You can still contact me for any emergencies. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, a few steps from the train stop that leads into beautiful Venice. The surroundings boast shops and restaurants of all kinds and athletes can access different footpaths. The historic center of Venice is easily reached by public transport in 25 minutes. Therefore - as long as the length of stay does not suggest renting a car - it is preferable to use a taxi (upon specific request for an airport ride to Via Trezzo the amount indicated - June 2017 - is around €. 30) The use of the bus requires the change of 2 buses (one bilet lasts 75mn) and takes longer. From the airport take line 15 to the “ Vempa” stop, then take line 3 and get off at the Trezzo stop or line 2 and get off at Piazza Carpenedo Venice: (train) approx. 20 min Padua: approx. 33 km, approx. 30 minutes by motorway Treviso: approx. 20 km, approx. 30 minutes on the Terraglio road MORE INFORMATION In the nearby shopping center in addition to the possibility of shopping you will also find a wide choice of restaurants, pizzerias or gastronomies, which allow you to appreciate the food and wine specialties of the territory. Cafeterias, pastry shops, bars and restaurants can be reached on foot with a walk of no more than 10 minutes, in the nearby Piazza Carpenedo, just beyond the train station. The center of Mestre, which develops around Piazza Ferretto, can be reached from Piazza Carpenedo along Viale Garibaldi (with buses of line 2 and 3, or with a walk of about twenty minutes) and offers a rich variety of restaurants. Among the specialties characteristic of the Venetian territory we suggest to taste: in pastry pancakes and galani (in the carnival period) biscuits "zaeti", "baicoli" "bussolà" and "baci in gondola", "pinza veneziana" and "tirami su"; in "bacari" cicchetti, sandwiches, vegetables and fried or battered fish; in restaurants among the first dishes: bigoli in sauce, rice and bisci, pasta and beans, coada soup (Treviso specialty) among the second dishes: cod fat or Vicenza, sardines in flavor, Venetian liver, ossi escampai with poenta, poenta and schie. Watch the boats drift by from the balcony at a restored family home, tucked away in a quiet alley. Stroll to the marina for a romantic meal, or cozy up in the rustic space with its exposed beams and cool stone walls. Our old, fully restored family house is located on island Ciovo, within the centre of old town, five minutes walk from the Cathedral and the buzzing small island of Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage cultural-historical site. You will enter the secluded large garden through small cobbled streets, so typical of this area. The spacious house spreads across five floors, hosting four large apartments belonging to our wider family. The outside staircase takes you to the entrance door, leading to the spacious penthouse apartment occupying the top two floors and a balcony with a beautiful view across the Trogir marina and old town centre. This house, in which a sense of time permeates everything, has been the family home of our ancestors for several centuries. It is a place where the stories of artists and scholars, diplomats and sailors, come together to create a unique ambiance which speaks of adventures of human spirit and inspire those who stay in it. Master bedroom adjoining the living room has a spacious King size bed, while the attic room has two separate single beds. Both bedrooms and the living room have independent air conditioning units. On request, we can add the fifth supplementary full-sized folding bed. Please let us know if you are arriving by car and we will take care that you have a hassle-free experience. Trogir Marina car park is located 2 minutes away. Trogir has several marinas and is therefore a popular starting destination for yachting holidays. There are several nice beaches within walking distance and plenty more can be reached by frequent boat rides to Okrug Gornji, Hotel Medena, or Blue Laguna on Drvenik island. Tonko is a wonderful host and will respond to all your queries promptly. After booking, you can contact Tonko via AirBnb messaging or his mobile whenever you need any assistance or have a question. Have a morning coffee at the nearby marina or walk across the bridge to bar Smokvica, just behind the cathedral. Restaurants worth trying include Bocel within Trogir Marina, Konoba Trs , Don Dino, and Tri Volta. Plentiful churches and a few museums add to the cultural mix. Split airport is just several kilometres away, with a local bus running every 20 minutes. Alternatively get a taxi or rent a car from plentiful agencies at the airport (best to book online in advance). There are local and intercity buses to Split, but they can be a bit of hit and miss. Alternative recommendation is to use the local boat line Trogir - Slatine - Split called Buraline which sets off from Ciovo side of Trogir, so it is close to the place you are staying. It takes around an hour to get to Split.

If you need to do your laundry please let us know one day before your arrival . We'll gladly do the laundry for you, but we need to organize it, as the washing machine is located in our part of the apartment. You'll find a laundry bag in the bedroom's closet. A decorative spiral staircase leads from the living room to a small roof balcony overlooking the picturesque canal in front of the house. The apartment is provided with good WIFI CONNECTION, AIR CONDITIONING and MOSQUITO SCREENS in any room CASA ZORZI is recommended both for romantic escapes and for family holidays. I use to welcome personally my guests, spending some time on arrival to recommend my favourite places in town....... The apartment is also provided with good reference books useful to plan and enjoy a stay in Venice. The Apartment is located on the quieter side of the truly Venetian Cannaregio District. The house is beside the magnificent Madonna dell' Orto Gothic church, containing cherished treasures including Tintoretto masterpieces. It is 15 minutes away from Rialto bridge. It is very easy and comfortable to reach by public transport either you arrive from Marco Polo airport or from the Train Station, with no bridge to cross with your luggage between the nearest waterbus stop and the apartment. A City stay tax of € 4,00 per day /per person ( € 2,00 for 10/16 children, excluding children up to 10) is due up to max 5 days.

Our house offers a splendid panoramic view of the Old Town, Lokrum island and the open Adriatic sea with the most beautiful sunset ever. The lodgings can host a maximum of 4 people, and has been renovated respecting its real core: you can still breathe the genuine atmosphere of Venetian houses inside these walls, with a touch of refinement and originality The house is located on the second floor of a small building which is just 20 meters from the famous Rialto Bridge and a few steps from the characteristic fish and fruit market: the real beating heart of the city. Serena’s place was just what we needed for the tail end of our trip. It’s located steps from the Pantheon and other attractions. We appreciated how spacious and quiet it was and really enjoyed have AC to cool off from the heat. It’s located near two taxi stands so easy to get in and out of the area as needed and her home is well equipped. We appreciated the Prosecco and snacks upon arrival as well as flexibility with an early checkin. Highly recommend if you want to be within walking distance of all Rome has to offer.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The house is located on a hillside and there are wonderful views of the valley from the balcony and terrace. The hosts have the house attached from the other side of the property and the guest meets them in the outdoor area. However they are a very nice married couple so it was a nice meeting. I'm sure we'd love to come back.

Motovun is a quite enchanting place! We felt very comfortable here and had many excursion destinations nearby, e.g. Porec, Rovinj or Pula. In the vicinity of the accommodation is a small but very well-stocked supermarket, so you can shop for everything you need. In addition, there are great restaurants nearby. The property is spacious and well equipped. The pool is a huge bonus that gave us and our children a great change of pace and cooling off. We felt very comfortable thanks to the nice hosts and would be happy to come back!

We stayed in this beautiful villa for a week in mid August. The view is just stunning and beautiful sunsets to enjoy on the outside patio and pool. The villa is spotless and clean. All the amenities we required to cook at hom including a great BBQ area. The weather was very hot and unfortunately there is only AC in the lounge and one in the landing upstairs. The bedrooms were therefore very hot and sleeping was difficult. We bought two little fans But didn’t help much.

This place is a paradise if your looking to get away from the world and just enjoy peace. If you would like to be around people the town has a market , a few great restaurants, hiking trails and lake. The beach is about 30 minutes away, which is not bad. this was a wonderful place to relax and reset well worth it I hope I get to stay here again

The host welcomed us super nicely, and showed and explained everything. There is a bun service and the host is always available as he and his wife live next door. The location is quiet and the overall complex with Koikarpfenteich and its own chickens that you can pet is very idyllic. Perfect for families but also for a cozy men's lap.

What a lovely apartment, very conveniently located for the vaporetto stop. Communication was excellent and the check in process was smooth. There were a number of restaurants within easy access. The apartment was well equipped and had a very relaxing feel, and would definitely look to stay there again on future visits to Venice.

Here’s review: We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Rome. The apartment was located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, which was a lovely escape from the busy city center. It was walking distance to all of the major tourist sights like trevi fountain and pantheon. It was about a 20/30 min taxi to Vatican. The space had everything we needed. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, always quick to respond and ready with great recommendations. Overall, it was a great experience and we’d definitely recommend.

Roberta was an amazing host! The location, one block from the Colosseum, could not have been more convenient as all of Ancient Rome was within walking distance. When we ventured further away, we used the taxi stand less than a block from the apartment. Roberta met us for check-in late in the evening after we experienced a flight delay. She was very understanding and even helped us get the luggage up the four flights of stairs! Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to spend time in Rome.
