This is the most beautiful little apartment. It is so tastefully decorated and has everything one would need for a short stay. Don’t be deceived by the slightly tired appearance of the entrance and very steep steps to reach the 2nd floor. Once stepping into the apartment we were completely bowled over by the finish and attention to detail. The view is just incredible. It was magical to watch the river scenery throughout the different times of day from the 3 living room windows overlooking the river. The dark blinds and sliding bedroom door turned the sleeping space into a quiet, dark and private space. Great for a relaxing lie in. Everything was spotlessly clean & beds and sofas most comfortable. I highly recommend this apartment and Valerie was a perfect host. Thank you so much.

There are not enough words to describe this exceptional experience! The apartment is tastefully decorated, with high-end amenities. What's the point of staying in a hotel when this kind of apartment exists? Very beautiful home, right by the beach. The tiny sun room is a god send for reading and relaxation - it also helps that the best beach bar in the city is right by the door step. :)

Kate’s Place is beyond description. Perfect in every way. The converted barn has every modern convenience. Comfortable, lots of room, very stylish, quiet and secluded. The beds were very comfortable with great pillows which is always very important we loved it. Easy access to the west, London or the further south. We made several day trips. Kate is an amazing host and made our stay perfect. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a great stay in this house that was really perfect. Everything was impeccable: very clean, well-equipped, nothing was missing. The view was incredible, and direct access to the beach is a real plus that makes all the difference. What an amazing find! Utterly private and feels very rural. Even though the lovely village of St Agnes and glorious beaches and towns are only a short distance away! Very cosy and eclectic home with some delicious treats and a bottle of fizz left by Kate and Simon. If you do stay, you HAVE TO use Sunny Spice, whether it’s for takeaway or eat in. Best South Indian food and yummy dosas I’ve had outside of London or Kerala! Thank you for making us so welcome and for the brilliant recommendations of places to go and local eateries.

Beautiful cocooning cottage with its clean decoration impeccable hygiene, towel linen provided shower gel hand wash,a small courtyard with its sauna, its sun bedspreads and sieve lights, a huge jaccuzzy very clean, everything is nice as in the photos , little attention from the hosts who are happy and above all very nice , very responsive everything is there for you to spend a magical night thank you amelie and maxime to give happiness to people via their unusual cottage while waiting to come back to test the cave we will come back with immense joy 😊 aurelie and thierry 😊😊🥰

Two weeks in paradise! Maison UMI is a dream. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by its beauty, charm, and tranquility. The house is immaculate. A perfect mix of rustic elegance and modern comfort. Every room is bright, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully appointed, making it a peaceful place to unwind. The pool was a highlight. Pristine, sun soaked, and surrounded by idyllic countryside views. We spent hours floating and relaxing under the blue sky. In a huge secure garden which our mini dachshund enjoyed exploring safely. The location is superb: nestled in picturesque countryside, yet just a short drive from charming villages. With Shops and supermarkets also close by for anything you need. Our host, Sanouchka, was exceptional, warm, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful, making us feel more like guests in a friend’s home. Bonus delight: adorable geese at the end of the garden added a touch of whimsy. Maison UMI isn’t just a stay, it’s an unforgettable experience.

Thibaut's place was a highlight for us. The house is restored with much love and attention to detail. Our kids loved the beautiful garden, equipped with a slide and playhouse and the small nooks in the house. After a busy day hiking and exploring this absolutely stunning region, we appreciated the super well equipped kitchen and cosy living room. A big plus for us was also the small supermarket in Barneville which was open even on the bank holiday and Sunday. One of the beaches is in walking distance and others reachable by car after a short drive. Many thanks again for all the great advice on what to do. We look forward to coming back.

Emeric is very welcoming and very responsive to questions. The accommodation was tip top (very effective double glazing on match nights😉😊). Very good location for shopping, dining and tourism. If we go back to Calais, we'll be happy to come back. In addition, we had good weather ☀️😎

Very well located bright and cozy apartment with small balcony and ultra convenient parking location Vincent was very accommodating for check-in and check-out times his qualifier as a great host is quite deserved I recommend it without hesitation!!

The place is located just a short walk from the historic center and train station. Laetitia and Alexandre were incredibly responsive and even offered helpful suggestions before I had the chance to ask. They recommended the best local restaurants and must-see attractions in Chartres, which made my visit really easy and enjoyable.
