Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Erie Canal

The home was spacious, beautifully designed, and had an amazing view. Our kids loved the toys and having so much room to play. We also enjoyed having a great park nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the unique space!

Christopher’s home is so special - we are hoping to book it again in the future! You can tell from the pictures that it’s absolutely beautifully designed and decorated, and it’s even better in person. It really feels brand new. Highlights - the heated bathroom floors! Insanely comfortable beds. GORGEOUS lake views - we spent so much time in the backyard / on the dock just taking in the sunset, reading in the AM and looking out over the lake. The location was perfect for bopping into the village for coffee / lunch or dinner - literally minutes away. This was a favorite vacation for us!

I stayed at the cottage for three nights. I was on a special diet, which worked great with having the kitchen set up. I also like a quiet place to sleep, which it was. The house rules were easy to follow. The hosts were responsive to my questions and concerns in a timely manner. I felt at home from the time I walked in until I left. The hosts did a great job with decorating the house. It was so cute and peaceful.

Ryan's place is one of the best Airbnb homes we have visited and pictures do not do the place justice. The open concept layout is great and the entire house is furnished and decorated beautifully. The living room is so cozy with the electric fireplace and the leather recliner (which is not in the pictures) in addition to the sofa. The master bedroom is very spacious and there is a second TV which my husband appreciated. The house is fully equipped and very clean. This was the second time staying at this Airbnb and we will stay here whenever we are in the area. This house is conveniently located to so many stores and restaurants and only 2 min to Target, Tops, Panera bread, McDonald's and 3 min to Starbucks. Wegmans and Trader Joe's is only about 8 min away and Syracuse U is 18 min away. This is a perfect housee for any SU families visiting their child.

A completely renovated country house on a beautiful plot of land with a great view of Skaneateles Lake. This place has everything you need for a perfect Finger Lakes getaway- a lovely home, deck, pool, sauna... and that view! Really wish we had more time to enjoy it. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed here for the second time and loved it just as much—if not more—than the first! The space is cozy, clean, and welcoming, and it truly feels like a home away from home. One of the things we appreciate most is how pet-friendly it is. Our fur babies felt so comfortable and relaxed—plenty of space for them to explore and settle in. The host clearly put thought into making sure both people and pets feel at ease. Everything we needed was right there, and communication was smooth and easy from start to finish. We will be returning soon! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and pet-welcoming getaway!

The house fit our needs, it was clean and well stocked. The porch and bathroom are a little tight but we would definitely stay there again. Definetly 5 stars.

I was moving to Syracuse and needed a place to stay for a night before I moved in. The property was great - very large and open. Idania was very prompt with the instructions and made sure to inform me that she’d taken steps that night to quiet down some noise in the neighbourhood before I reached out myself. Would recommend to anyone for their stay in Syracuse!

By far one of the nicest, cleanest, and well equipped Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. It also smelled amazing ! We stayed for the weekend with one of the days being a night in where we cooked dinner. The kitchen has everything you might possibly need to cook a meal. The coffee book was an adorable touch and the bathroom was squeaky clean. In fact, I don’t typically like showering at Airbnbs but this bathroom was cleaner than mine at home ! My fiancé was a big fan of the bidet lol would absolutely stay again and plan on it!

I enjoy staying here as often as I can when I'm in the area. This is a wonderful place with nice neighbors below, the ladies are really nice.

My sister and I were in Syracuse for a family wedding. We arrived at the apartment after 11:30 pm but had no trouble finding it or getting inside. The place was spotless and the beds were comfy. It was also super close to both the church and the reception hall. Despite some previous reviews, the neighborhood was fine. Some houses needed to mow the lawn but we felt very comfortable and safe there. We would stay there again if we visited Syracuse.

The house was just what we needed for a quick one-night stay. Overall a little dated, but it was clean and comfortable. The AC in the living room combined with the fan in the bedroom were adequate to keep us cool on a very hot night. It was a great value for the location and size (it's bigger than it looks from the outside!).

Carla was a wonderful host. More importantly her rental was beautiful and very comfortable. Would strongly recommend and we look forward to going back (when there’s less snow)!

Stunning location a short walk through lovely Congress park to downtown Saratoga. Scrumptious bakery in easy walking distance. The apartment was delightful: very clean with all the essentials stocked. We loved being able to stop back in during the day for a quick recharge before getting back into the middle of everything. Bright and sunny during the day and quiet and peaceful at night.

Such a unique stay! David gave very helpful instructions for arriving and getting to the property, even supplied photos for extra assistance. The property itself is cozy and in a great part of the city. There’s lots to do nearby, super walkable, and David provides great local recommendations. The shared gallery space was so cool to see too. Great experience!

The only downfall of this place was the noise from the bars down below.

Our stay was fantastic - Maurizio’s apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. Street and private parking was plentiful.

Every time I visit home, I always try to book new places. This space was exactly as advertised, very clean, nice tucked away space. Brought back a lot of memories because the unit is right across the street from my old middle school. Elizabeth was a great host. Responses were on time and checking in was flexible. The garage was perfect for my rental. I plan on visiting Rochester again in July. If Elizabeth’s unit is available I will be booking again.

Eileen was a great host, responsive and helpful. The place is well maintained. It is not a new place, but they maintain it well and have remodeled multiple things to keep it in good shape. Definitely recommended place and very close to almost everything.
