Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Florence

Wat hebben wij het getroffen bij Tenuta Verde. Monica en Daniele zijn gastvrouw en heer pur sang. Alles is tot in de puntjes geregeld. Warm welkom bij aankomst, een welkomspakket waarmee je de eerste avond en ochtend mee doorkomt. Alle vorige lovende recensies zijn helemaal waar. Tips over de omgeving wat er te doen is naast de grote bezienswaardigheden en waar je lekker kan eten en het beste ijs kunt kopen. Warme persoonlijkheden die altijd voor je klaar staan. Daniele kwam zelfs 2 keer eigengemaakte wijn brengen, heerlijk. Het huis is zo fijn "thuiskomen" na een lange dag weg. Heerlijk de rust in de tuin en om het huis. We missen het nu al. We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property just outside Florence. The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, yet only a short drive to the center. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and full of character, with breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. Antonio was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect base for exploring Florence and the surrounding area. Highly recommended—we would absolutely stay here again!

After we arrived and were settled we were thrilled at the amazing views of the rolling hills. The landscape was breathtaking and the location was quite remote and peaceful. David was very responsive and we really enjoyed our stay! We would definitely come again!

I can not say enough about Alessandra and her amazing land! It was the most magical place we have ever been to. We are taking a 3 month trip, hitting up 21 cities in Europe and this is BY far the best! She was so kind and took us shopping and back to our train! She was always there when we needed her.thank you Alessandra we will see you next year!

Everything was absolutely perfect! ⭐️ Location: Ideal base for exploring Tuscany — you’re right in the heart of it all. Whether you’re heading to Florence, Pisa, or the charming hill towns, everything is within easy reach. House: Well-equipped and comfortable, with all the listed amenities in perfect working order. After long days of sightseeing, the pool was a refreshing retreat. The panoramic view over the valley is truly breathtaking. Host: Lorenzo is an outstanding host — friendly, responsive, and fluent in English. He was proactive and helpful throughout our stay. The house includes a detailed guidebook he created with handpicked recommendations for local shops, markets, restaurants, farms, and sights. It made planning our days effortless. Bottom line: If this listing is available — don’t hesitate. Book it. 10/10 would recommend!

We loved our stay at Michaela’s house. The views were beautiful and it was a nice and relaxing atmosphere. Great location, very short walk to the town or easy bus ride into the center of Florence. We will definitely be back!

Barbara et Cristiano et leur fils ont été des hôtes très amicaux, à l’écoute et aidants. Leur maison est un havre de paix au milieu d’une magnifique nature, d’un calme reposant et bénéfique. This is such a lovely place to stay. I was so happy to look at the surroundings with breathtaking views and the tranquility ( besides the fogs ) makes this place a paradise . The house was very spacious and confortable . The jacuzzi is really a plus and the swimming pool perfect . Francesco and Serena were so helpful to find activities for our family . The communication was great . I really recommend this place … soooo beautiful !

We had an amazing week in the villa. Even if hou have other people living there, you feel so calm and free. There is a designated spot for each appartements to eat so you can enjoy good time outside. The site is so clean and we ser that the host take good care of everything. We had a lot of recommandations to discover te surroundings and the host was so easy to reach when we needed. All the commodities were there, the appartement is well equiped. I strongly suggest to rent a car, it’s the easiest way to enjoy your stay there. I surely recommand this place and I would go back again.

Nous avons séjourné avec nos 2 enfants de 1 et 3 ans. Hôte accueillant et flexible. Très réactif il nous a fourni un lit bébé en dernière minute. Le logement est fidèle aux photos et descriptions. Il était très propre et fonctionnel. L’emplacement est incroyable pour un séjour à Florence. Il y a un parking privé payant juste en bas de l’immeuble. C’était super ! Merci

Soggiorno ben oltre le nostre (già alte!) aspettative! Emanuela ci ha accolto nei migliori dei modi e ci siamo sentite subito a casa, la sua ospitalità da manuale ci ha davvero conquistate. È stata un’host impeccabile, sempre disponibile e gentilissima. L’alloggio è una splendida tenuta immersa nel verde della campagna toscana, perfetto per chi cerca un’oasi di tranquillità a contatto con la natura. Le foto davvero non rendono giustizia alla casa, molto spaziosa , e al bellissimo giardino.

Pistoia, la petite Florence, vous invite à prendre le temps de vivre tout en vous dévoilant la beauté de la renaissance Toscane. Dans cette ville, un palais du 16ème siècle abrite un magnifique appartement. Son intérieur, rythmé par les croisées d'ogives rappelant son histoire, vous accueille à bras ouvert après une journée de visite. Les anciens escaliers de service dans la buanderie, rappellent qu'à l'époque, cet endroit était la cuisine de cette noble famille habitant le palais. Ces traces du passé laissent sans problème la place à la modernité et l'aménagement du lieu mêle design et authenticité. À moins d'une heure de Florence, Pise, Lucca, Vinci ou de la mer, Pistoia est sans nul doute extrêmement bien située. Simona’s apartment was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was well-stocked, the entire space was spotless, and the beds were comfortable. We really appreciated having the washer/dryer combo—it made things so convenient.

Top locatie, met prima voorzieningen. Het uitzicht is prachtig en een dikke plus voor de privé kookles! Niet twijfelen, gewoon boeken.

It is hard to find the superlatives to describe this absolutely wonderful villa. We spent 3 nights there with a group of 8 friends and really did not want to leave. The setting of the property is even more amazing than on the pictures: a shady terrace overlooking a beautiful garden with a pool in the middle, surrounded by lush hillsides and sweeping views of the valley beneath - all of this in complete calm, peace and quiet. Really, like in a dream. Moreover, the place is extremely well-equipped, with a separate BBQ room, pizza oven, changing rooms/towels/sunbeds for the pool area, extra-large fridge and full kitchen with all the modern amenities. Everything was spotless clean. You can also feel the attention to little details in all aspects of the villa. The location is quite remote, so better to come by car. Virginia and Daniela were super kind and delightful, + very easy to communicate with (they live in an attached house). They even offer dinner from locally grown food. Great stay!

This was just what I was looking for. A Tuscan villa in the hills with a rustic style outside but excellent on inside. There was more space than expected: 3 queen size rooms and one twin, with 3 bathrooms upstairs and one downstairs. The library in the living space looks great (although you have to read Italian). Modern kitchen and great facilities. One minor challenge is the 3.7k drive off the main road to get to the property a you get used to it! Loved listening to the Cuckoos and other birds from the veranda Tommaso was an excellent and helpful host.

We had a fantastic time staying here! I’ve been recommending it to everyone! Also, Pistoia is an amazing place to visit so all around amazing!

Wow-10 days spent at Alec's villa and could have stayed longer! The age and beauty of this place makes you feel transported back in time. From the stone walls, the detailed wall paintings, furniture and decor, to the solid doors easily hundreds of years old... We spent hours just speaking of it's history. The house is clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for our family of 8. It is situated on a small family vineyard at the top of an incredibly windey road. There outdoor space was safe/secluded for my kids. The hill made for wonderful beautiful views and sunrise. However, as with much of Tuscany, we were glad our rental cars weren't too big! The closest town is 5 minutes away and has a few restaurants... Though not somewhere you can have coffee or walk the streets. About 15 minutes away is San Casciano where you can find coffee shops, restaurants, stores etc. Alec is a perfect host... helpful, responsive, and answered dozens of questions weekly. Book dinner at A Casa Mia for sure!

Incredible host and property. We feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay here. Cesare was beyond helpful with recommendations and flexible with our check in. Secluded, peaceful and a great place for making memories during our travels around Italy.

Beatrice was an amazing host. She was very responsive to our questions and always very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. This was the perfect place for our group of 8 adults for 2 weeks. The location was perfect for visiting various sites around Tuscany. Florence, Cortona, Siena and Pisa. The nearby town of Greve had some nice little restaurants for lunch/dinner. After a long day of sightseeing we would gather on the patio to have charcuterie and wine. Or gather at the family style dining table each evening. We highly recommend having Beatrice provide a home cooked meal, it was excellent! There are several wineries and olive oil tastings in the area. We took advantage of many of them. Overall we were very happy and very comfortable with our stay. We highly recommend staying here. If we ever come back we are definitely staying here again. You'll definitely get the true feel of Tuscany.

We had the most wonderful stay at Olga’s place. We had 6 adults and two children and there was still plenty of space. The house was beautifully appointed and the outdoor space with the view was the perfect place to relax.

Our Villa in Montespertoli was everything we could have wished for and more, full of all the modern conveniences required to cook if desired. The grounds were absolutely delightful and the hillside backdrop of grapevines etc was stunning to wake up to every morning in a secluded and peaceful place. We enjoyed many mornings having coffee around the poolside deck and afternoons sharing a glass of wine chatting with our friends after our many touring adventures. You definitely need to have a car to enjoy this Villa and surrounding areas like Pisa, Siena, hot Springs, San Gimignano to name a few. Our Caretaker Lia cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan dinner to share on our last night which we enjoyed immensely. Thankyou for hosting us in your home, we didn’t want to leave.
