Northeast, The Yellow Northern lights House.

Beautiful place and lots of bird life. Vascular warp just by the house and guided around the warp. Large crevasse in the area. The house is sheltered and overlooks the sea, and is well visible on Snæfellsnät in a good view. In winter, under the right conditions, there is a great chance of seeing the Northern Lights. The house is old, but it's all new. The sleeping loft has 2 good mattresses (steep climb). Bright and beautiful. Short to the airport, about 10 minutes ( 9 km .), and nice swimming pool in Sandgerði ( 2 km.)

Cozy studio apartment

Small and cozy studio apartment in our home, perfect for a couple or a single person. Our house was originally built in 1905 but was mostly torn down 20 years later and built like it is today. Very close to the international airport as well as grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Spacious deck to enjoy the good weather in the summer. Access to washing machine and dryer in the laundry room. Please note that we have a big Golden retriever dog that shares the yard with us and you. 😊

The apartment is situated just 6 minutes drive from the airport and 15- 20 minutes form the Blue Lagoon. You can find a public swimming pool with both outdoor and indoor swimming pools in 3 minutes walk from us, there is also a big playground area.There is a small shoppingcenter, Krossmói in about 8 minutes walking distance. There you can find ATM, bank, supermarket, pharmacy, resturants and other shops. There is also the town bus center (it is outside and there are no servicekiosk).

Ryan was super helpful and friendly with lots of good suggestions. The place was as advertised - clean and very comfortable. Also close to the blue lagoon, convenient for the things we wanted to see and close to the airport.. Would definitely stay there again!

Margaret is responsive and friendly. She responded quickly, provided clear instructions on finding the apartment. The premises are close to the airport. It looks exactly like the photo. The room is clean, warm, comfortable for 1-2 nights. The bathroom is clean, there is hot water, there are cosmetics. Comfortable beds, clean linen and towels. It was nice to find coffee and tea freely available. Recommended 😉

The beds were exceptionally comfortable—so much so that I ended up visiting Rúmfatalagerinn to buy the same comforters and duvet covers for myself! Thanks again, Anna, for being such a great host.

Words cannot fully express what a wonderful time we had at Ragga’s cabin. The location absolutely cannot be beat. Close to Reykjavik and the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, lakeside with a sauna and hot tub overlooking an incredible view. Every morning we started our day with an espresso in the sauna and a soak in the tub, then headed out on an adventure. Also very close to the Hvammsvik hot springs which were nothing short of magical. Thank you for providing a perfect home base for a wonderful trip, Ragga and family!

We had an great time. Nice little place to relax after a long trip around the island. We stayed for 1 night with very little notice and Nana made sure everything was ready for us, the room was cozy and had everything you need. Nana also prepared a warm bath for us, it was perfect, very private, and kept us outside watching birds even though it was raining that evening. Can recommend!
