Our family had a wonderful weekend in the house in Ingarö. Johan and Linda welcomed us in person, they are wonderful hosts. The house is built with quality and love for details. Well equipped, we lacked nothing, clean and warm. We traveled by car, so we managed to visit several local natural treasures - Björnö nature reserve, Artipelag. 10 minutes walk from the house there is access to the water where you can relax and enjoy the local landscape. Stockholm is in about 30 minutes drive from the house.

We stayed in the house for 6 days with my spouse and our child, and we were extremely satisfied with everything. One of the highlights was the stunning sea view — enjoying our morning coffee while looking out at the water was such a peaceful start to the day. The jacuzzi was also a great touch — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for spending quality family time. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families

A very nice and cozy place to stay

Beautiful place to explore Stockholm and the archipelago from there! Thanks to the nearby bus station, everything can be reached by public transport!The house is very cozy and the garden is great for relaxing. Yvonne and Antonios spoiled us with homemade jam and ice cream. Unfortunately, the time went by way too fast!

Our stay at Hans and Lena's place was very pleasant. The house exactly matches the photographs and description, it is very welcoming and equipped with every comfort. It is easy to get around by public transport: a few minutes' walk from the house there is in fact the bus stop that takes 30/40 minutes to Stockholm. The surroundings of the house are quiet and the view of the canal is very evocative. Unfortunately, due to schedules, we didn't have the pleasure of meeting Hans and Lena in person, but we met the son, very helpful. In any case, hosts were always available via phone and provided us with all the necessary information.

Staying at this lakeside house by Kroksjön was an exceptional experience. The cleanliness was impeccable everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The fireplaces were a highlight. Both the traditional wood-burning and modern styles created a warm, cozy atmosphere in the evenings a perfect way to unwind in the middle of nature. The private hot tub overlooking the lake was absolutely amazing. Soaking in the warm water while surrounded by peaceful nature was incredibly relaxing and added a special touch to the whole experience. The house is surrounded by pure nature, peaceful, serene, and filled with the calming sound of birdsong. Wallbox charger for our electric car was a major convenience. Highly recommended.

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

We spontaneously went to a family event in Stockholm. The location is perfect because we could reach everything on foot. The beautiful old town is directly opposite and there are cafes and restaurants just around the corner. The apartment are beautiful and clean. We felt right at home. We were informed about the construction site in Slussen, but it did not bother us at all. The communication was very good. I inquired about a yoga studio and café and immediately received great suggestions. Thank you for this beautiful accommodation. I highly recommend it and would book it again.

Beautiful place in a charming area! I loved exploring Vaxholm and the nearby island, and transit to Stockholm is easy, as there is a direct bus. Evie is a great host!

We spent 3 nights at Axels. I would recommend a visit of 3 nights minimum if you are a tourist trying to explore and understand beautiful Stockholm. This apartment is very spacious and great for a family or 2 couples since it has 2 levels. The bathrooms are large and well laid out. The location is absolutely perfect! High quality restaurants offering diverse cuisine are nearby. If you like to walk, as we do, beautiful parks and impeccably maintained boulevards are found nearby in all directions. Thanks for a great experience!!

Lovely apartment in a great location. Easy to move everywhere by public transport. We had everything we need. Andreas was nice and always available to talk with us! Totally recommended!

Very well renovated cozy apartment right in the heart of the Vaxholm waterfront. I have no complaints. Although I never actually met Elin she was responsive and helpful over the app. The apartment had everything you need and was very clean. Only thing I thought was odd was there was no silverware. Great experience overall.

AnnaMaria's home is a little way outside of town but easy to reach by multiple modes of easy to manuever public transportation. I really enjoyed being in a place that felt like home and allowed me to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. Another great aspect is the neighborhood. Her place is on a busy street but it doesn't feel like it at all. The community is laid back and just peaceful. I really enjoyed my time and am grateful AnnaMaria allowed me to stay in her place.

Perfect stay! The place is gorgeous and well kept, even better than the pictures, it’s spacious and has a lot of natural light. Perfect location in the heart of SoFo, a lot of bars and restaurants and an easy stroll to the other islands. Barbara was amazing, super nice and helpful, answered every question and gave us a lot of suggestions. We had the best time and would definitely come back

We stayed at Tobias's for our getaway in Stockholm. The accommodation is cozy, comfortable and very well located (16 min walk from the train station and 5 min from shops) A big thank you to Tobias and Ida for their responsiveness and good advice. We'll be happy to go back!

We enjoyed our stay at Anna’s apartment during our trip to Stockholm. The shower is nice and powerful and the apartment is peaceful.

Alejandro was always quick to respond to my questions and patient as I learned how to use various appliances. The location is convenient with easy access to two separate public transportation stations, delicious restaurants, two supermarkets, a beautiful nature preserve with trails and swimming from the dock in front of the building. The apartment is very comfortable with a lovely terrace and fully equipped kitchen. We were provided with early access which was helpful after an overnight flight to Stockholm. We would love to return some day!

Everything was good. But I have one thing that I needed to know beforehand and it's that I think am not sure about it the hot water is from a tanker that could run out if you shower for too long. But I take long showers so yes.
