Beautiful place and lots of bird life. Vascular warp just by the house and guided around the warp. Large crevasse in the area. The house is sheltered and overlooks the sea, and is well visible on Snæfellsnät in a good view. In winter, under the right conditions, there is a great chance of seeing the Northern Lights. The house is old, but it's all new. The sleeping loft has 2 good mattresses (steep climb). Bright and beautiful. Short to the airport, about 10 minutes ( 9 km .), and nice swimming pool in Sandgerði ( 2 km.)

Come and stay at our farm and visit our wonderful animals and/or get fresh egg from our chickens in the morning to cook in the apartment. There are also fun experiences around our farm such as a lot of beautiful hiking trails, horse riding and more. It's a very good location to plan day trips from. If there are northern lights you can see right outside the door.

Esjuberg Farm-Sleep with horses & mountain hike

Welcome to the newly renovated farmhouse in Esjuberg, where you sleep by the roots of the mountain. This house truly has it all, from a beautiful ocean view, horses in the backyard, and a phenomenal view over Reykjavik. Esjuberg plays a big part in a very interesting Icelandic Viking story called the Kjalnesinga Saga. In this story, a woman named Esja lived here along with her foster son Búi, who became a very mighty man.
