Beautiful old building apartment centrally and at the same time idyllically located on the canal and adjacent city park. We were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back.

The check-in was straightforward and all the important information was super prepared. The highlight is the view over the water and the terrace, from which you can access the lake directly via a ladder. We were already there for the second time and would be happy to come back.

Roger was a perfect and very kind host. His project of an B&B in the old school is cosy and beautiful. We enjoyed the time in Wierum (it is reeeeeally a quite place)

We had a lovely few days at Jan's place. The apartment offers everything you could ever need. In the village there is everything you need. Emmen is also easy to reach. It's nice to have peace and quiet for a while if you're used to big city noise!

We had an excellent stay! We were visiting family and exploring Friesland and this place was the perfect place for us to stay while doing so! Hella is so welcoming and greeted us when we arrived. The location was peaceful and relaxing with a beautiful view of a pond in the backyard and there were beautiful trails near the Airbnb. The Airbnb was an excellent home away from home while we traveled and if we were visiting in the area again we would definitely want to stay there again!

Had a great time here. Lovely host, super conveniently located, easy to reach by foot and bike. I'll be back!

We especially liked the quiet location, the comfortable bed and of course the very nice hosts! Communication with the host was straightforward and friendly, we felt well taken care of at all times. The breakfast offered is fantastic, made with love! We were able to rent 2 bikes without any problems, which was also great! We can recommend this accommodation without reservation and would be happy to come back at any time!"

We have already been to this beautiful house several times and always feel very comfortable. It really has everything you need and both nature and Emden are really easy to get to.

The house is wonderfully located on a small Siel with evening sun in the garden - wonderful! The decor is stylish and chic. The kitchen is very well equipped and even in the rain you can eat outside under a roof on the terrace. It is a stone's throw to the Petkum ferry (there are good fish sandwiches) and you can quickly reach Emden after a short bike ride along the canal. All around a very great accommodation, which I can only recommend.

We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation in Geert's cozy cottage. It is very idyllic and quiet, located directly on a small lake, and we were able to unwind wonderfully. Geert was easily accessible and friendly. Everything was very clean and tidy. We liked it so much that we booked the next vacation with Geert right away.

The location of the house is really stunning: right by a small bridge on the river, in the middle of picturesque Winsum. The house is spacious, bright and very lovingly furnished, kitchen and bathroom are quite new. We immediately felt at home. The beds are very comfortable, at night it is completely quiet in the neighborhood. It has a terrace towards the river, but unfortunately we could not use it because of the weather. You can turn on the heating if it gets too cold, which we liked to use. Since the house is located in the pedestrian zone on the small shopping street, it has no parking space, but there are plenty of public and free parking spaces 1-2 minutes away on foot. Winsum is a small but very beautiful place with a surprisingly rich and lively little shopping street. There is even a well-stocked supermarket a few minutes' walk away. If you are looking for a comfortable starting point for activities in the north, then the house is perfect.

The property is very nice and well equipped. The contact with the host was very friendly and uncomplicated. We are completely satisfied!

Kees' accommodation is very cozy and beautifully located. It is practically in the center of Winsum - the town center is only a minute's walk away - and the historic mill is also not far away. Everything is quickly and conveniently accessible on foot, which makes the stay particularly pleasant. Right next door is the fine Chinese restaurant Golden House - absolutely recommended! You can take wonderful walks around the center. There are many pretty cafés and small, lovingly run shops where you can linger. I would gladly recommend the accommodation - it is ideal for families with children and invites you to feel good with its cozy atmosphere.

We liked the apartment very much, it is spacious, bright and stylishly decorated. Dennis as a host was responsible, caring and kind. We heartily recommend it!

Julian is a responsive host. His apartment offers a quiet, natural light-filled home with a very comfortable bed in a modern well-appointed space. It was very clean upon arrival and the washer/dryer was great to have since we had been traveling already 10 days. Julian was very agreeable in getting the key to our daughter who lives in the town since we were arriving very late. What we wish we had known/understood: the apartment is up three flights of a tight spiral staircase; while not cluttered at all it’s clear that it’s the owners living space (e.g. no ability to use closet because personal items were there) and food items were in the fridge and cabinets. Again, not cluttered, but it just surprised us. The listing notes that there’s a private office area (& shows photos) however that was marked private with a closed door and full of the owner’s items. The apartment was very convenient to our daughter’s apt and Julian was very flexible; we would love to stay again!

Beautiful location and really nice, we were allowed to use two bicycles and a canoe, which was great. We were in Groningen in about 45 minutes by bike.

We felt very comfortable at Heleen and Klaas! Everything was clean and tidy! The hosts were also very helpful with tips and recommendations of the area! We liked it so much that we would like to come back next year 😃 Thank you for the wonderful time!

You couldn’t ask for a better location to enjoy Emden’s museums, farmers market, walking trails and restaurants as well as convenience for driving out to Norden, Greetziel, etc. Free city parking a block away was easy. All amenities in this rental were in excellent condition-thank you! We hope to return on our next trip.
