Micheal is truly amazing—the best host I’ve had during my entire Airbnb journey. 10/10, highly recommend! He even picked me up from the train station despite a delay. There was construction on the tracks leading to his home. I would’ve been completely lost without his guidance through the temporary reroute. Micheal went above and beyond—he gave me a list of things to do, restaurants to try, and even took me grocery shopping. His home is clean and relaxing. From the moment you walk in, you can see the effort, care, and love he puts into being a great host. He’s created a space that feels safe, comfortable, and peaceful—like staying at a boutique hotel. His dedication is commendable, and I hope other hosts take note. Micheal wants to open a bed & breakfast someday, and he truly deserves it. I’ll gladly invest when he’s ready! Thank you so much for the amazing stay. I will definitely be back!

I had a lovely stay at this peaceful apartment with an unbeatable view of Lake Zurich. The sunsets from the balcony were truly unforgettable — a perfect way to end each day. The apartment is done entirely in white, giving it a clean, calm feel, and everything was in perfect working order. It’s well-connected to Zurich HB via the S16 line, which made getting around very easy. The host was professional and respectful throughout our communication. The only suggestion I’d offer is to consider adding a portable fan, as it was quite hot during our visit and sleeping comfortably without ventilation was a bit of a challenge. Overall, a serene and well-maintained place — I’d happily recommend it to others visiting Zurich.

I lovee the place. It is so near to the Zurich Leimbach station. It has nice view of the train station and the river. So close to Zurich city. You can get to the city in 12 minutes via train. The host was so nice and helpful and they even let us check in early which we really appreciate. The studio was sparkling clean. I was very happy with my stay. Thank you to Semira and team for the warm welcome!

A big thank you to Frank and the amazing co-hosts Leontina, Liv, and Patri for making this stay so smooth and comfortable. The apartment was spotless, peaceful, and exactly as shown in the photos. Check-in was very easy, and the team was quick to respond to any questions. The location is perfect – just 2 minutes to the lake and 2 minutes to the supermarket (including Aldi). The view of the lake was stunning and truly added to the experience. Everything was well thought out and made us feel right at home. I’d definitely stay here again – highly recommended!

The accommodation met our expectations, we felt very comfortable, the room arrangement was very pleasant for us (1 adult, 4 teenagers). The view is very nice.

Pleasant stay in this charming apartment decorated with Esther's beautiful illustrations. Esther had provided us with the GlarnerlandPass, which allowed us to travel free of charge throughout the valley by public transport. However, this requires a little organization because there is only one train per hour. Beautiful playgrounds for children, such as the one right next to the apartment and a great time spent at the Kinderbaustelle in Luchsingen.

Loved our stay, truly beautiful home and perfect for our family (2 adult couples couples and a family of 3 with 6 year old). Child friendly with safe bedding and available books and toys to play with. Great location 5 minutes from train station and 2 blocks walk from COOP grocery store. A few things to get used to as being from USA appliances are slightly different, but we knew that ahead of time. Also thankful for the previous review that mentioned needing to buy additional toilet paper if staying more than a few days, it was easy to pick up with our groceries. Hosts were very responsive and kind with the questions we had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will remember our trip fondly and our stay here.

Well-maintained family home in a prime location by the lake, close to the train station and shopping facilities. There is so much to do - sports, hiking, cycling, lake, museums. Very nice landlords who always have time for you.

We came here for our honeymoon and I will never forget how magical this place was! The views were absolutely stunning — waking up to the turquoise lake and surrounding mountains was unforgettable. The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed. The location was peaceful yet close enough to explore nearby towns and hikes. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing escape in nature yet close enough to exciting experiences! 10/10!!

Beautiful apartment located right on the water. This was an amazing experience for my family. Had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy! We had an amazing time! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Amazing views and excellent location.

Such an amazing stay!! We were here for a week and it was idyllic and peaceful. Emmetten is a friendly town in a beautiful setting. The apartment was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Maya was an excellent host. She is very responsive and even brought us some eggs from her hens. The Volg grocery store is about a 4 minute walk, but there is also Ruadis Marcht which is even closer. We loved this little store. If you are into buying local, stop by. They bake different types of sourdough bread daily and you can get fresh eggs, pastas, dairy and meats from local producers. There were excellent hiking trails all around. We had an amazing stay and would recommend Maya’s place to anyone.

Beautiful location - quiet and peaceful. Super responsive host and everything was clean and lovely. It was perhaps a little far out of Zurich for our needs so we didn’t get to enjoy the serenity as much as we would have liked. Would absolutely recommend to anyone needing peace and quiet away from the city.
