In particular, I recommended this egg sauna, which was carefully created in the shape where the heat circulates naturally.All of this is handmade (DIY)!Feel the heat of the wood stove in the sauna and the creative heat of JP. You can also enjoy pot and fish skewers in the fireplace that was revived with DIY.All ingredients will be brought in, so please buy them at a nearby supermarket before coming. The place is an area called "Koya", a mountain alley in Misaku City, Okayama Prefecture.I think it would be interesting to stop by Nishisaokura Village, which is popular with the rural resident village, which is just around the corner.

This is the Kominka style BNB in Yamanakako. “Hirano no Hama” A 8 min walk to the breathtaking view of Mt Fuji overlooking the lake. Only a 5 min walk from the Hirano highway bus terminal to connect “Busta Shinjuku” / Tokyo Sta. Tourists in the most walkable neighborhoods of Hirano ward will find a car isn't necessary to get around.

Ricefields, Rivers and Mountains

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also authentically Japanese. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.

Embrace the “slow life.” The space is a renovated private bungalow next to our main house. Surrounded by trees and quiet, it's an oasis to unwind, unplug, have lazy breakfasts and nap in the hammock. For more active travelers, it's a good base to explore the area. We are 9 km from Shimanto City restaurants and shopping and an easy drive to activities on Shimanto River or the beach. We do require a 2-night minimum but highly encourage you to slow down and stay longer.
