Cooper Cabins

Log building with 2 queen beds. In the winter this is my garage but summer it's a great 'cabin'. No water in cabin. Micro, fridge, covered area with gas grill,space heater, private shower/toilet house. Fire pit, no wood supplied. Kenai Lake access is 1 mile, great beach walking. Fish on the Kenai, 1.5 miles away or drive 6 miles to the Russian River. Dogs allowed but you cannot leave them alone in the cabin unless they are in a kennel. If days are not available please ask, I might be open.

Built in the late 1930's, Moosewood Cabin offers clean, comfortable, and cozy authentic Alaskan lodging for two. A great place to base your Seward, Alaska adventures. Summer 2025 will be our 27th season of offering Seward visitors a great place to rest after a full day of exploring the Seward Area. Fully furnished 1 bedroom, timber framed cabin 4 minutes from downtown Homer. The cabin has well water, full kitchen (no dishwasher), fuel oil heater, queen size bed, and bathroom with flush toilet and shower. The cabin is not available for monthly bookings June1- August 31.
