House holiday rentals in Kingswear

Absolutely lovely home , very responsive to messages, had an issue with the electrical gate it’s no one’s fault but they acted and responded so quickly. The only issue I had was with the pool not being open even though it’s listed in the title “ villa with pool “ and I searched air BnB using the great pool section . I was gutted because it did state in the more about section that the pool wasn’t open until may , I trusted that using the search with great pool would be enough but unfortunately It wasn’t, I did feel this was wrong listing a property with a pool and in the title but hiding the fact it wasn’t open in the click more section, this definitely needs changing.

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

A fabulous property. Mandy and Lino were excellent hosts. Lots of room and everything was provided. The heritage railway running next to the property made it extra special and nostalgic. The pool was warm and the outsidde space very welcome. We took our two whippets who loved the garden and the walk down to Broadsands beach through the fields. The decor is beautiful and every bedroom is different. Mandys art work is amazing and really adds to the character of the property. Parking is off road down a short driveway. A quiet spot, no traffic noise, just birds and the occadional chuff of a steam engine. I have a feeling we'll be returning one day. In two words, fabulous, relaxing.

Clean, cozy and well equipped (kitchen, etc). Peaceful location and the extra amenities were great! (Swimming pool, etc). We would stay again.

It was an amazing stay, the place is apart of a big holiday ket that has a restaurant and spa. It exceeded expectations! All the staff at cary arms were really great and approachable. People will need to realise in advance how steep the hill is to get to the holiday homes. I had difficulty driving my car back up so Chris and Harry from the cary arms helped me out with that and I tree really appreciated it.

spotless with everything provided that you could possibly need. superb pool and outside spaces. Very narrow lanes to get to the accomodation with nothing very local , a car is a must !! Apart from locality would highly recommend.

Great home with outstanding facilities and location. Pool is a highlight, and hot tub right next to it which is great for when the kids get chilly! Fantastic playroom for them too. Boiling water tap for grown ups teas and coffee with good indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fun for all the family!

One of our best airbnb experiences to date. Warm and welcoming hosts who made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. The house was spotless and felt brand new, so many thoughtful details were included! Only one warning….you might fall in love with their beautiful dog Alfie!!!

We spent a week here with our two teenagers and had a great time. The house is lovely and well finished, it was clean on arrival and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could need. The layout is great and beds were comfy! The easy walk to the beach and little shop was great, the beach was fantastic with two great cafes with great service and good food, the water sports centre is great too! Katie was great and responded to all our questions quickly, check in instructions were easy and clear. We had a wonderful week in Broardsands Beach and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a relaxed beach holiday with family!

Really great place to stay. Views over the Dart estuary, Dartmouth and Kingswear are wonderful. You can see the sunrise, the sky at sunset it is beautiful. We found ourselves sitting in the garden, on the terrace, at the dining table or conservatory just watching the activity and ever changing moods of the Dart. The house is lovely. Clean, nice interiors, great kitchen, quality appliances, great places to sit. The beds are really comfortable. Lovely bathrooms. Melbrake felt warm and welcoming. A real home from home. We loved it. We would recommend it. Ranjana was helpful throughout and always approachable. A great host. You need to be able to climb steps and walk up hills to stay here. The reward is the view. It is absolutely worth it. We would love to return. If we stayed anywhere else, we can’t imagine it would compare. Thank you g Rh if a lovely stay. ♥️

Bar Lodge is just stunning. The accommodation and decor were both great but it was the views from every level that it made it so very special (and a very friendly and inquisitive robin). Being on the south west coast path, we were expecting good walking but the friendliness of the tractor and ferry guys and other locals we met meant every outing was even better. Annie was proactive and accommodating from beginning to end and the property was clean and beautifully presented when we arrived. Thank you, we can't wait to come back!

Stuart and hollys place was everything you could ask for in a holiday home. We had a meet and greet with stuart. There is a huge helpful information pack in the accommodation waiting for you. Which basically covers everything. Plus stuart was on hand with anything else we needed to know. We wouldn't hesitate in booking to return again next season. Off road parking was very good.

We had a great stay! The apartment was clean, easy to find thanks to clear directions, and fully equipped with everything we needed. It was a comfortable and hassle-free weekend—thank you for a lovely stay. Would happily return!

Just had one of the most brilliant stays at "Little Spindles". A fantastic eco-built property situated down a quite lane with everything needed for a peaceful, relaxing time away. Inside, the property is just amazing; so clean and tidy, with top quality fixture and fittings and tastefully decorated. The garden area is mainly laid to lawn and is large and private, thanks to surrounding trees and shrubs. There's a little stream at the bottom of the garden and we were fortunate enough to see a kingfisher during our stay! It's close to the centre of Ashburton (lovely little place!) and ideally positioned for a wide variety of sightseeing and walking trips. Poppy is a great host and is always on hand to offer help when needed. We look forward to a return visit!

Very special location, it blew us away. House was spacious but cosy at the same time. The only struggle was walking to the property, up and down the hill especially with the mountain of luggage we had.

Amy and Jack have designed The Loft wonderfully. I got lots of design inspiration and even asked Amy where she got some things from. I stayed with my dog and we were very comfortable, I could happily have stayed longer. There is no garden or any views but the inside made up for this. I walked down into Dartmouth and got the Park & Ride bus back (never got charged). Was not going to attempt the hill back. The Loft is on a new build estate, which they are still building, however it’s still peaceful. One of the best AirBnBs I’ve stayed. Fresh milk, Prosecco and cookies on arrival. I will definitely return!

We absolutely loved our stay in Brixham. The house was lovely, perfect location for us, that took you straight down onto the harbour! Lovely and clean, warm, and nice outside space (we just wish the weather would have been better that we could have enjoyed it!!) the rooms are comfortable. Everything you need for a baby/littler one (high chair and travel cot, there was even little plates, and cutlery!!) lots of nice places in walking distance to eat and drink. And nice local walks. The stairs are steep to the top floor if you have little ones , but we were expecting this as an old fisherman cottage and made sure to watch our 3&1 year old. There is a stair gate as well you can pop on the door. We loved our stay and will be sure to come back!! Thank you

Lovely house. Brilliant central location just off the market square. Very comfortable home. Worked really well for our family of 5. Heating and WiFi worked well. Kitchen was well-equipped. Parking was easy nearby in the square. Some might want to be aware that the stairs are steep and narrow - one short flight from street level up to front door, then two flights within the house (one bedroom on middle floor, and two on the top floor). just one bathroom/toilet. Host Beverley was friendly, responsive and accommodating.

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

Lovely location with good views. Very spacious and clean. Very comfortable living room and bed. I liked the location - out of the way but a short drive to places of interest such as Dittisham and Dartmouth. Some of the local roads are a bit pokey (which I find fun!) and the views all around incredible. I got the ferry over to Greenway which was a lovely day out. Very well equipped kitchen for cooking and so nice to have some oil, salt and pepper among other things as not all Airbnbs provide this or keep them topped up. Lovely to sit out in the evening sun in your own garden looking at the countryside and listen to the birds. Would love to stay again.

We’ve visited Salcombe many times for family holidays but this was the first time we’d stayed right in the middle of town. It was great! Everything was in easy walking distance and required no walking up big hills. The flat itself is very recently refurbished, and all the spaces are well thought through. We are a family of four and it felt very spacious (even on the day we stayed indoors due to bad weather) and wasn’t noisy. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time in Salcombe.

We had the most wonderful long weekend celebrating a 40th birthday in this property. Stunning location and very easy to access/find. Excellent property with clean and beautifully furnished rooms. Fully equipped kitchen and lots of comfortable living and dining space. Highly recommend and would return in a heart beat.

Lovely quiet getaway. Would recommend!

My wife and I had a great stay with our two daughters for a week over 1/2 term. The location is spectacular, on a secluded part of the Dart estuary. There is a great restaurant by the house that does a lovely breakfast and tasty evening meals. The area is lively during the day with people coming to eat and with families crabbing on the tidal pool but it is super quiet and peaceful in the mornings and evenings when the restaurant closes. There is lots for kids to do in the town, crabbing was a favourite but you can go kayaking from right outside the door and we saw a lot of groups of adults and kids having sailing lessons on the main estuary. Paddling boarding is popular in the area and you could get out at almost anytime of day, including on the tidal pool if the main estuary was very low. All in, the town is a real hidden gem and Chris’s house is in a prime location to make the most of it.
