Altstadzauber Amberg, experience the Middle Ages....

The apartment was very spacious, clean and equipped with the most essential household items. The apartment itself is within the "egg" of amberg aka. the city center sourrounded by the old mideaval town wall. The little garden and patio space was just delightful, I hung out there many nights enjoying the sounds of birds along with a glas of wine. Anita was an amazing host. The communication prior to my arrival was stellar, and when I arrived I found a lovely little welcome surprise on the dinner table (a small bottle of local sparkling wine and chocolats). Anita was always very accomodating with anything I needed. I was staying for 2 weeks, and the few household essentails (dish soap and sponges, cleaning agents, trash bags etc.) that were provided when I arrived did not last long. If anyone is staying for more than a few nights, I recommend getting in touch to check on the current supply, or if needed, get the items at the grocery store not too far from the apartment. This is merely a suggestion as I can imagine other guests may stay longer than a few nights in the future. I know I woud :) I'll definitely recommend this place to anyone who would like to enjoy a very lovely stay with a very lovely hostess in a very lovely city.

I had an all-around pleasant stay - everything really worked out well. Everything that was agreed or promised in advance was also adhered to exactly. The apartment was super clean and very well maintained – I immediately felt comfortable and almost at home. I was particularly pleased that I was also allowed to receive visitors - and that was completely uncomplicated, at any time. A big thank you for the relaxed and hospitable atmosphere! I'd love to come back.

Everything was just beautiful! The place was exactly as described and was very clean and cozy. The view from the window was beautiful, and the grill in the garden was really great – perfect for relaxing evenings. The host was extremely friendly, always responded quickly to our questions and helped us at all times. We would especially like to thank him for picking us up from the train station and taking us to the accommodation - that was a great help and very thoughtful. Thank you for the great hospitality!
