Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in La Mesa

We had a great weekend in San Diego staying here. The apartment is very clean, building is chic, and the bed was very comfortable. The area makes it central to walk / drive to lots of different neighborhoods in San Diego. The actual surrounding streets aren't very cute to walk on, but it is still a very convenient location and 20 minute walk to the Midway Museum / Broadway pier. The host was great and highly communicative. Overall a very positive experience.

Our stay was great! The apartment was clean, AC worked great, nice deck. Many amenities at the property to use- pool, gym, rooftop deck. Parking spot was great as well!

Loved staying here a second time! Make sure you drop people off/unload in front of the unit to avoid making others wait to park and don’t get a giant car - the garages are a tight fit like everywhere else in mission beach.

Uliv was a GREAT host. One of my best Airbnb experiences for-sure. Great communication and very responsive. She also gave us great recommendations. I highly recommend staying here. 10/10 Check in and check out was very easy! Gorgeous Airbnb!

Had a great stay, location was perfect and within walking range of many restaurants. Only downside was finding parking, had pay for a nearby parking garage but other than that it was fantastic.

Easy and quick communication, very accommodating to requests, easy check in and out, secure, clean and comfortable location with good places to walk to. Real host that doesn't appear to be using AI to respond.

I enjoyed my stay. The place was very clean, had strong wifi and had everything I needed. You can hear the music from Las Pulgas so you might want to bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

This was the second time that my family stayed at this AirBnB, and we absolutely love the condo's proximity to the beach. The condo itself is clean with all the basic essentials that you need... boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, and cooking supplies. Both of the times that we've stayed here the condo has been very quiet; we've never heard noise from neighbors. The condo community has several pools, hot tubs, and a tennis court plus the spectacular clubhouse with panoramic ocean views. There are lots of little coffee shops and places to walk to near the condo community and it's very family friendly. The mattresses and pillows are dated, but aside from that this condo is truly a gem.

Louis place was great. Beds were comfortable and very clean and well taken care of. Pictures are true to pictures and description. Security at the building is strong and the guys were friendly. Would stay again 100%

We had a great stay at Johnathan and Cindy's place. It felt like home for our almost two week stay. The kitchen was very well appointed with every cooking utensil you need, the bed very comfy, just everything you need. Our thoughtful hosts planned every detail, with little cute signs all over the appartment. We hope to be back, thank you for sharing your lovely place.

Now this is the place! We had an amazing time at Peter's. We wanted to hangout for Fathers Day and we did just that. There were a lot of things to do in the home and it was not boring for adults or kids at all. Very homely. Tons of games! Peter is an amazing host. Very responsive. We had a smell issue from the previous renter and he offered to refund the cost of our air freshner purchase. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of space. Will definitely be renting again when next we visit San Diego.

Very nice and perfect for my sister and I to take our families on a vacation. Lots of space for the 4 and 6 year old girls to play and the adults to relax. Will definitely look to come back in the future!

My friends and I had a great stay at Tim’s. He was extremely accommodating even when we asked if we could check in earlier. He would respond within the hour. The house was so pretty and the clean. The pool and jacuzzi were easy to use and clean as well. Def recommend coming here and I’d stay here again!

We absolutely loved this place!! It’s was spotless clean, spacious, quiet neighborhood (perfect for a family), and on top of it all, my kiddo loved the free snacks. The whole experience felt like a hotel, but obviously more spacious and comfortable. I would definitely go back and recommend!

Very beautiful house with many locations nearby to go hang out, the home itself was very cozy we would love to stay again

We had a great stay at Tina’s Place ! The location was ideal for getting around ! There was 11 people in our group ages 2-70 and we were very comfortable! We were able to walk to the beach ( about -10 minutes) as well as to restaurants, shops , bars, etc. the house was central enough to make a short drive to La Jolla, Coronado , Point Loma and of course downtown. In about 20 minutes. The beds were comfy and the backyard was spacious for kids to runaround ! We would definitely air bb again

Jacquelyn's home was a great home base for our visit to family over an extended weekend! Thoughtfully and comfortably appointed with great amenities for adults but most notably our toddler, who loved the abundant selection of books and toys - little touches like the Hatch made us feel like it was our home away from home. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to freeways for reaching any parts of greater San Diego and San Diego county. Host had clear instructions, responsive communication and easy-to-follow labeling where needed. Would happily return!
