The loft is about 130 square meters, ceiling height 5.5 meters 50% of the area is designed for wellness & living only. Bathtub, daybed, 2-person spiral shower and Real wood fireplace leave nothing to be desired. In summer, a 5 x 4 meter gate can be opened which makes the lower loft area a convertible. The three apartments are located in a listed half-timbered house on the Rhine built in 1617. The house is located on the historic Rhine promenade in Neuwied-Engers and belongs to the listed ensemble of castle and master house (State Music Academy). In the historic cellar from 1370 you will find a wine shop; "Wein am Rhein." The house was completely renovated from 2014-2016.

Welcome to the Middle Ages! Martinsburg is one of the few castles in the Middle Rhine Valley that have never been destroyed. The gatekeeper's room, approx. 50 m2, we have carefully renovated and approximated today's needs with shower and toilet. However, you have to climb 45 steps before you can settle down comfortably. In good weather, you can also relax in the flower corner in the Burghof or explore the Schlosspark am Rhein.
