Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Lower Normandy

Very good welcome from the owner, wise advice for visiting Mont Saint Michel and on activities to do nearby. Very clean and very well equipped, matches the description. Have a great stay!

Beautiful property, large outdoor spaces very well maintained and very beautiful. Parking next to the accommodation inside the property. Quiet, peaceful, kind and caring hosts on site. 2 dogs belonging to the owners, very nice including with our little dog. Clean, pretty and comfortable bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Shared toilet but we were alone upstairs so no worries. Beautiful surroundings such as Siouville beach or Dielette port. A big thank you for the beauty and quality of this stay in this very beautiful region!

We were much appreciated Marianne's help. She kindly offered us a separate room and made great breakfast. Her good recommendation of restaurants and places to visit made our trip much easier and enjoyable. We would highly recommend staying at her B&B if you want to go to Mont Saint Michel. This BnB is spectacular! I cannot say enough good things about it! Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Caroline was such a wonderful host. She provided a highchair in the breakfast area and a pack-and-play in our room. Caroline even took the time to provide yogurt at breakfast for our 2-year old, who is less than adventurous eater. Her recommendations for restaurants in the area and tips on how to see the D-Day spots were very helpful. Location wise, this BnB is very close to all of the D-Day sights and a reasonable drive from Mont-Saint-Michel, and yet, is still so peaceful! I wish we would have been able to stay longer and even take a day to relax around the property and spend more time chatting with our host! 12/10, absolutely recommend and would definitely come back again!

We had a fantastic stay at Jean Luc's place - it was so beautiful and packed full of character. There was plenty of space to relax, including a very retro and cool table football. The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were extremely comfy. Jean Luc and his wife made us feel so at home, they made a wonderful breakfast and joined us, entertaining our young son with lots of attention and providing lots of toys. This was a great stay and I would recommend it to everyone!

Coup de coeur! Mary and Phil were perfect hosts: welcoming, available and very attentive to our needs. The room, which offers a breathtaking view of the bay, is elegantly decorated and very clean. The bedding is perfect. The garden and the pool are just as splendid. And what about the little extra: a delicious homemade breakfast. We will return to this little paradise, offered by wonderful hosts.

This was the best Airbnb I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. Jose and Ségolène made us feel so at home and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room is beautifully decorated, extremely clean and well-kept. The breakfast was amazing - full of homemade pastries, bread, and jams and fresh coffee - truly delicious. Finally, the location is exquisite. The Airbnb is surrounded by quiet fields, beautiful walks and quaint villages - there’s endless things to explore. I highly recommend staying here for a peaceful, relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings with a lovely couple. We will be back!

We had a great stay with Sandrine and her husband. We were warmly welcomed, received a house tour, and history fans are in the right place with Sandrine. Those who embrace the charm of an old house will be very happy. The room is very large and just like in the photos - if not even more beautiful. We had an incredibly good stay in peaceful and pleasant surroundings, cycling trips and walking in beautiful surroundings. Great kindness was shown to us and a relaxed atmosphere, we highly recommend a stay at Florence, whether you are in transit or for a longer stay! What a special experience to stay at Wilfrid’s. The renovations he’s done are incredible and yet has kept the authenticity and history the grounds are so peaceful and relaxing. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer.

A big thank you to Françoise for her warm welcome, her good breakfasts and her recommendations for visiting Honfleur on foot! We had a particularly pleasant weekend. The room is very nice, flirtatious and comfortable (mattresses, pillows and bed linen very nice). The garden is really beautiful, both in the front and in the back of the house. Françoise maintenance daily, you can walk there, it's a treat and a real breath of fresh air. You can even meet a beautiful turtle that leads a joyful life! Breakfast was hearty and Françoise took care of it to make sure that we ate well! The days could only start well. The center of Honfleur (restaurant, port, shops etc.) is only a few minutes' walk away, the accommodation is ideally located.

We stayed 2 nights with our two kids at this beautiful property located in Vendôme. The environment is beautiful and our room was very comfortable, with everything we needed to cook. The other little extra that we really enjoyed: the breakfast served in the room. François is a remarkable and welcoming host. We recommend this place without a second thought. 👌

Our stay at Anastasia’s home was truly one of the highlights of our trip to France. From the moment we arrived, she was so warm and welcoming—it felt like staying with a friend. Her hospitality was exceptional, and she made us feel completely at home. Her dogs were absolutely adorable and incredibly sweet. Our kids fell in love with them instantly and still talk about how much fun they had with them. In the morning we were treated to an amazing breakfast that was fresh, generous, and delicious—local breads, pastries and more. It was the perfect start to our day exploring Normandy. The home itself is stunning—beautifully decorated, full of charm, and impeccably clean. The surroundings were peaceful and picturesque, the kind of place you just don’t want to leave. We can’t recommend this stay highly enough and would return in a heartbeat. Merci beaucoup for such a special experience!

Really enjoyed my stay at Madeleine’s and had a nice conversation with her at breakfast. Was a lovely, comfortable room. Also enjoyed the little town of Pontorson - happened to be there on market day which was a neat experience. Would recommend highly to anyone. Thank you Madeleine!

This was more than anything we could have hoped for. The hosts were wonderful, friendly, helpful, and unobtrusive. The accommodations were clean, and had everything we needed. The host left us fresh baked bread and pastries every morning from the bakery in town. We had a great time and would be happy to return.
