Waterfront holiday rentals in Marano Lagoon

This is a really nice place in a calmer and more “local” location of Venice. The views are fantastic of the water, canal, and a gondoliering school outside. Lots of great restaurants nearby with IMO the best views of Venice. Those who know how NJ has the best views of NYC would understand. Be careful coming back from the main island later in the evening as the Vaparettos don’t run the same routes as during the day.

Terrific apartment in a quiet part of Venice but only a 10-15 min walk from lots to do. The hosts are very attentive and kind and communication was great as we resolved a few minor issues. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful apartment, perfectly equipped! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking - large pots, a large pan and much more. There is even a coffee machine including capsules. Very, very large refrigerator and freezer with ice dispenser and cool water. The apartment is modern and technically top-notch - TV with sound system and Google voice control. The bathroom is spacious and also well equipped - shampoo, shower gel and even a hair straightener are available. The free sun loungers with umbrella are an extreme plus. The way to the beach is also very short. Also worth mentioning is the available parking space for people arriving by car. It was also possible to exchange ideas with Alberto at any time. The only small downside would be the sofa bed, but given all the other positive aspects, you can easily overlook it.

We stayed 2 nights in this Venice apartment. We arrived at the Rialto Bridge stop by vaporetto. The video with directions to the apartment was very helpful. The host was friendly and communicated through text. The location is great! So close to the Rialto Bridge, but tucked back into a peaceful area. We felt safe. The apartment was very clean. It was quiet at night with the windows closed. The air conditioning in the bedrooms and living area all worked well. There are 2 flights of stairs to access the apartment with no elevator/lift, so you need to be able to get your bags up and down the stairs. This was not a problem for us. There are many restaurants for coffee, pastries, and gelato very close by the apartment. It was a very easy 8 minute walk to San Marco square and the Doge’s palace. We were 4 adults sharing the apartment and we were all pleased with it. The price was great when split by 2 couples. We would stay there again!

We had a great stay in the apartment which was in a great location, close to shops and restaurants but also very quiet at night. It was very clean, had a great shower and very comfortable bed - couldn’t ask for more! Would definitely recommend.

Eleonora's house is small, but the spaces are very well organized and there are two nice balconies for having breakfast outside and for hanging things out after the beach, which expand the space available. But the real advantage is being directly on the sea. In 2 minutes you are on the beach, Eleonora has provided us with an umbrella and two sunbeds on the adjacent beach, which is no small thing!! At the same time, 50 meters from the building there is the street with all the restaurants and bars, and right next to it there is a supermarket. In short, the ideal is to park your car in the reserved spot under the building and get anywhere on foot. It's perfect for a few days of true relaxation!!

Was a beautiful and peaceful stay - Patrizia is a friendly and responsive host. The place is clean and stocked up with lots of amenities, hairdryer, air con, towels, etc. Do keep in mind that for this balcony view, the unit will be on the top floor so you'll have to be okay with carrying any heavy luggage up a couple flights of stairs as there are no elevators. Would have preferred to have a self check-in option but the host was communicative and flexible with coordinating timing to meet up for checking in and showing us around the unit. It is a great neighborhood also close to a small market and a great cafe (Majer) for a quick breakfast. Would recommend!

Nicole is the best host! Her place is spotless, quiet and the outdoor space was beautiful. We loved staying on Giudecca away from Venice crowds but with great things to do and great restaurants. We would recommend Nicole’s place to anyone.

if you are coming to Venice, this is a must day. This was our first trip to Venice, but we quickly learn that we had stayed on the street where the locals hang out. This is off the tourist section with many food options on the same street, our favorite was Tintoretto. It is a 15 minute walking tour from the train station.. I cannot say enough nice things.

If this flat is available for your time frame, don’t hesitate. Possibly the best place I ever rented. Excellent location, pristinely clean, Great beds. Carlo went above and beyond to show us are surrounding area and highlights. Take his advice on the bakery and restaurant. So happy we were able to experience this place. I would go back. Thanks

Beautiful view and right next to Farragona water/boat taxi. The hostess was wonderful- flexible with our check-in/out. Easy to communicate. The apartment is spacious and clean. We always felt safe. It is a more quiet area and that was just what I was hoping - peaceful and relaxing.

We have an excellent stay in this property it is in a quiet neighborhood but with very quick access to local restaurants and attractions (including the Peggy Guggenheim) and easy access to the water bus. We would love to stay here again on our next visit to Venezia.

We had a wonderful stay at Marco's house. It is very pleasant, the private garden is a very appreciable plus, the house is very well maintained, well arranged, and very clean. The neighborhood is much quieter than the more touristy neighborhoods that can be easily reached on foot or by boat. Irene, who was our contact during our stay, was very attentive to our requests and informed us each time with great responsiveness and efficiency. We really enjoyed staying in Venice in this neighborhood and in Marco's house.

The place was comfortable, the owners let us put our heavy baggage before check in. We liked the double bunked beds and the garden outside. it was very peaceful around the place. We accidentally left the keys inside the house before coming out and locked ourselves outside, luckily the owner was kind enough to help us open the door. would definitely recommend, it was a comfortable stay

Amazing and very clean waterfront apartment. Google maps don’t show accurate directions so I recommend using Apple Maps, our host was very helpful to get us to the right address. The boat station (that you take to go everywhere) is only a few min away, the area is very safe, walkable and has lots of cool spots nearby - cafes, shops, everything. Kitchen is well stocked with high quality pots, dishes and supplies. Hot shower, and washing machine were very nice.

Great time in Venice staying at this perfect location! Very quiet area with plenty of food options, close to all forms of transportation, and within walking distance to everything. The host was very receptive and quick responding back to any questions we had. Charming stay!

Beatrice is at the top of the best AirBnB hosts we've ever had! She has thought of everything for this gem of an apartment in Venice. The rooms are comfortable and homey. Everything you need is at your fingertips. She has also taken a lot of time to create a binder full of valuable recommendations. We tried to stick to only restaurants that she recommended as to have a more local and authentic experience. We really loved our time in Venice. The location of the apartment is just a few minutes to St. Marks Square, so the absolute perfect location. It was peaceful at night. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were great. My family of 4 was very happy here, we all loved it and hope to be back again soon!

We loved the area, easy 20 min walk to the Basilica, lots of restaurants only 5 mins away. Bruno was so helpful and a great neighbourhood to come home to after a busy day. The window overlooking the canal was our favourite!! Would highly recommend staying here.

We had a great week in Claudio's apartment, it is not huge, but had everything we needed except red wine glasses. Very practical apartment with good a/c, good bed, enough towels, drying line for the bath linen, and it was very well cleaned! In addition, it was incredibly nice to find some toast, cold cuts, tea, coffee and water etc. available, we arrived at the apartment late at night and did not have time to shop. The stairs up to the apartment were long, but it was definitely easier without heavy suitcases. The instructions we received on video from Claudio before we arrived were explanatory and helpful. We highly recommend the apartment to others who want to experience Trieste!

The apartment was completely as described, plus you add a live charm, and then it's even nicer. The space is relatively small but brilliantly organized. Everything is in place. Stancic is quiet, ususky, warm and romantic. Natasha and Sammuele are very proactive and share everything in advance. There's a whole "book" recommendation left on what to see, where to go, where to eat. The street is two minutes from the seafront. The apartment is on the fourth floor which will give you a great view, all the way to the Miramare Castle.

Our stay in Venice was truly wonderful, largely thanks to our fantastic Airbnb experience. Alessandro, the co-host, greeted us personally at the water taxi station, which was incredibly helpful and a great start to our visit. He then showed us to the apartment, which was nothing short of amazing and precisely as described. The apartment offered more than enough space for our family, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. We loved the amazing terrace, where we spent enjoyable evenings. The location was also absolutely perfect, ideally situated right between the iconic San Marco Square and the Galleria dell'Accademia. This central spot made exploring Venice a breeze. We had such a great time and would absolutely love to come back and stay here again!

We had a perfect stay in this beautiful apartment in the Cannaregio area of Venice. The space was immaculate and full of charm, with stunning terrazzo floors throughout that added an authentic Venetian touch. Every detail reflected the owner’s thoughtfulness and impeccable sense of style. Great bed and linen. Nespresso machine was also appreciated. An absolute highlight was the rooftop terrace, which had beautiful views over two canals - the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine and soak in the beauty of Venice from above. Also, Mariangela’s recommendations for local sights and dining spots were incredibly helpful during our visit. The location couldn’t have been better. Cannaregio is easily the best area to stay in Venice - peaceful and atmospheric, far from the heavy tourist crowds, but still just a short walk from all the main sights. If you’re looking for comfort, elegance, and a truly Venetian experience, this place is absolute perfection. We couldn’t recommend it more.
