We offer our "cottage" here! It is located directly on the edge of the forest behind our house and is part of an old mill farm in the middle of the forest! We are 1 kilometer away from the nearest neighbor and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. This is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! In the cold season, you MUST additionally heat with the fireplace!

Nice, quiet attic apartment

Separate attic apartment with approx. 53 m², which is reached via a shared staircase in our terraced house. The bright apartment has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet. In the living room there is a sofa, armchair, flat screen (cable) and Bluetooth system. In the bedroom there is a 160 x 200 cm bed. In the bathroom is a shower + cabinet and storage bench. The toilet is separate. The kitchen is functionally equipped: 4-burner induction stove, oven, coffee maker, toaster, etc.

Stay in Himmelberg

Keep in mind! Starting March 1, 2025, there will be a full closure of the B49 between Lay and Moselweiss. Start of the construction of a cycle path. This means that a detour towards Koblenz of plus 12 km (approx. 15 min longer drive) is to be expected. Buses will be diverted. Spend your vacation in the romantic Moselle Valley, just 8 km from the center of one of the most beautiful and oldest cities in Germany, in a modern furnished apartment in the idyllic Moselle village of Lay.

Welcome to the Middle Ages! Martinsburg is one of the few castles in the Middle Rhine Valley that have never been destroyed. The gatekeeper's room, approx. 50 m2, we have carefully renovated and approximated today's needs with shower and toilet. However, you have to climb 45 steps before you can settle down comfortably. In good weather, you can also relax in the flower corner in the Burghof or explore the Schlosspark am Rhein.

Alte Seilerei (First Floor, Sleeps 6)

One of two lovingly renovated self contained apartments overlooking the historic Balz. The ground floor apartment has great access, a wealth of ancient beams, a cozy courtyard, modern facilities and sleeps up to five people. Enjoy a journey back in time! The two medieval skipper's houses are located directly on the old market square and are connected inside. Each room has its own modern bathroom! You can relax under large lime trees after a hike on the Rheinsteig and sample the town's excellent wines. The holiday flat is also very conveniently located for attending a concert on the Loreley open-air stage!
