Holiday rentals with a fire pit in McHenry

The Little Fox Den made our week at the lake feel like home! There were plenty of activities inside and in the area so we were never bored. Lauren's communication and information were excellent as well.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! My family and I had the best time. Gorgeous and clean home with extra amenities and goodies in the kitchen. The fire pit outside is wonderful. Though it was a cold Memorial Day Weekend, we made the best of it enjoying the comfy home and watching a movie. Someone in the guest book talked about counting the bears in the house.. they got 151, we got 163! Between the adults it was a funny game to compete who could get the most! Thank you Greg and Denise for a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing stay at this house! The host was so accommodating and made sure all of our needs were met. The house was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We made some amazing memories here, and we would definitely stay here again.

The perfect Airbnb for a girls weekend! Everything was super clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and more, the beds/linens and everything were super comfy. And the hosts were super responsive. Would definitely stay here again

This place was perfectly located—close to restaurants and activities, yet incredibly peaceful and private. The views were breathtaking! The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and the entire home was spotless with a clean, modern design. I highly recommend staying here!

Nicole was extremely nice, gave great local recommendations and directions. House was beautifully maintained and had all the amenities we could need. the bed was the most comfortable bed I've spent a night on while out. WiFi code that was provided and super helpful because Verizon counted at roaming in parts of the area. WiFi was also very good. She also provided snacks and baked goods that were amazing. The location was also one of the cheapest stays in the area for what you can get. Couldn't recommend enough! 5 stars across the board!

great deal great place 10/10 would stay again

An absolutely beautiful location! I was able to watch the leaves change in fall while soaking in the deck hot tub. The studio apartment was perfect as my home away from home while on a travel nursing assignment. I had everything I needed. I was able to bring my roku and watch my TV shows while relaxing in the recliner chair. The shower is very roomy. I love that a washer and dryer was included. The only thing I wish it had was a toaster oven…but that is a luxury not a need. The stove, toaster, and microwave were perfect for my month stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to “get away” or working in nearby by Oakland, MD. The host is wonderful and very responsive.

The Lucky Duck is a very calm and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed the views and the local population of ducks and geese who welcomed us as we came and went. The place was spotless & spacious and had all the little things we needed for a great visit. Would highly recommend booking.

We stayed here for our 26th anniversary and it was perfect! It is an amazing cabin with incredible views. I highly recommend this cabin. The one piece of advice is because cell service is spotty don't trust your gps. Follow the instructions and look for the name of the cabin on the sign.

It was hard to leave. It was very comfortable and just pleasant to hang out. We were very happy!

If you want seclusion, this is the place for you. Very quiet, seen deer in the back yard two days in a row. The master bed is extremely comfortable. Does have stone driveway, and if you want any groceries stop on the way. Wifi worked great. Overall great place to stay!

Loved staying at Lazy Bear Lodge. Beautiful home with privacy on big property. Hosts were super responsive and gave great local recommendations. Very accessible to hiking and white water rafting.

Very thoughtful and considerate host. Snacks provided along with eggs, juice, milk and bottled water. Even dog treats for the dog. Enjoyed our stay very much.

This was our second stay at this beautiful cabin! My husband and I love the private location, the peacefulness of taking advantage of the hot tub, sitting on the deck, or around the fire pit area watching the wildlife. The location so private and peaceful, but only minutes away from anything you could want to do in the area. The pics are very accurate as to how comfy and cozy the inside of the cabin is with a kitchen that has just about everything you could possibly need! We are already planning our 3rd trip back!

This stay was my first experience using AirBnB. Amy is a wonderful and most helpful host. The property is amazing. There are a lot of trails around the mountain to explore and the pond is beautiful. Every morning and evening, I would see at least 15 to 20 deer while walking the dog and the only sounds around, were the birds. Thank you Amy, I will definitely be back the next time I visit West Virginia.
