Jagdhütte Gammeringalm

The cabin is located at 1,200 meters altitude on an idyllic alpine pasture. In summer, it can be reached by car via a slightly steeper, coarsely graveled forest road. Those who have an SUV have an advantage. In winter, it is located directly on the ski slope. Directly from the cabin you can start extended ski tours and snowshoe hikes. We transport the luggage with the Polaris on arrival and departure. The cabin is very rustic, cozy and equipped with many loving details.

For your sole use, we offer our around 200 years old, core renovated cabin. Alpine coziness meets modernity. Whether summer or winter, this stylish cabin offers the perfect accommodation for four in about 50 square meters. It is located on a sunny hillside. This quaint retreat is not far from the Mölltal Glacier Railway and many excursion destinations for hiking, climbing, skiing/hiking, canoeing and much more. The modern apartment is fully equipped and measures 56 m². From the garden and balcony you can enjoy the 360° panoramic view of the mountains and forests of the region. In Spital am Pyhrn, just 3 km away, you will find all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay. A private children's playground, a stone grill and garden furniture are provided. The Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard is provided free of charge by us (valid from mid-May to mid/end October).
