Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Monte Testaccio

Great small apartment for two people. A bit out of the way in Rome but we liked getting out of the chaos of the city center after each day. Host was very accommodating and attentive.

Very nice apartment, comfortable, clean, with many useful details. We loved it, we would go back and we highly recommend it.

Stylish and cozy home. ACs in every room. Skylights also makes this place perfect. Perfect neighbourhood to walk around and take in the beauty that Rome has to offer. Many restaurants to choose from. Flaviana was amazing to communicate for our arrival and make suggestions on her personal favorite list of cafés, groceries and restaurants.

Laura is really exquisite, the house is impeccable and the location is pure. Dear you and your family, we will definitely return, if only for your hospitality and kindness.

This place is situated a little far from Rome central but has very reasonable bus/tram connections so getting there isn’t too difficult. The apartment was clean and well described. A comfy bed with an AC unit nearby which is needed as it does get quite hot at night. Our hosts, although we didn’t meet them until the end, were so helpful, communicative and generous. We are not wine drinkers but a bottle was left for us with a note. This would be a nice touch for those after a long day of travelling. Overall a very good experience

Close to everything in Trastevere and within walking distance of all the major sights. It felt like home and it was so comfortable. Look no further for an incredible stay!!

Great location next to train station and bus connections (not the metro). 10 min walk to St Peter’s and good access to all the other sites. Large, roomy, store right next door for groceries.

We really enjoyed our stay at Francesca’s beautiful apartment. First time in Testaccio, lots of great restaurants (reserve where possible), excellent cafe/bakeries/gelato/markets within a few short blocks without the crowds and mayhem of Trastevere, Centro or the Colosseum areas which are easily reached on foot or by conviennent bus routes using credit card tap-in.

Llaria's house is self-managed, she is very nice, the room is clean, and she specially prepared a large bottle of mineral water in the refrigerator.They also helped us store our luggage on the last day.The house is in a good location and is very cost-effective

Lorenzo and Fabrizio's place is greatly located; close walk to metro, buses, restaurants, Testaccio market. Convenience stores, wine shops, coffee shops, great restaurants all within walking distance. Great communication with hosts, always available. We'll definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Diana’s place was beautiful! The balcony was wonderful and had amazing views. The bed was very comfortable as I prefer a firmer mattress. Diana’s communication was one of the best I’ve ever had. She answered all of our questions and provided a list of recommendations in the area. The apartment is on the 5th floor but there is an elevator. I would absolutely stay here again in a second!

Celeste's accommodation is in a strategic location for those who need proximity to the Circus Maximus for special events (it was our case, we stayed here for a concert at the Circus Maximus). The host's instructions and availability are of high quality and it took us about 4 minutes on foot to reach the Circus Maximus. It is also convenient for parking, easy to find both on the road by paying the blue stripes, and for the presence of several garages in the area. Recommended!

Jochen was always very friendly and warm. She waited for us to welcome us and give us recommendations. Always attentive. The apartment was perfect for our stay. The Testaccio neighborhood seemed great and friendly very close to buses and with a lot of business. We had a wonderful time in Rome staying at Jochen's house. We would definitely go back. Mariangela's apartment is charmingly designed and generously provisioned. She has great taste. Though our visit was only a weekend, Mariangela took great care in setting us up with coffee, wine, and snacks. The neighborhood is a thriving home to "real" Romans with great shopping and quick bus routes or walks into the center of the city. Bed and AC are fantastic. We would return here enthusiastically. Finally, I have to note that I dropped the ball on a couple of communications with Mariangela, and she was proactive and human in all her responses--a super graceful host. Thanks for the great stay!

Fantastic stay in Tommaso’s apartment! It was exactly what I hoped! Super spacious, clean, charming and in the cutest area. I absolutely loved my stay and I would book again next time I’m back in Rome. Tomasso was super helpful, a wonderful host and replied very fast. I can 100% recommend!

After a last-minute travel hiccup, we needed a place fast—and Luca was an absolute lifesaver! He was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making the booking process seamless. The apartment itself was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and the beds were wonderfully comfortable—just perfect for my family of four. The layout, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, provided plenty of space for us to relax. The location felt very safe and was within easy walking distance of all the best local spots. The best Airbnb I've ever stayed in! What an incredible luxury to find a cozy, clean, quiet, and beautiful apartment in the heart of Trastevere. The apartment is within walking distance to amazing restaurants and historic sites, and yet, feels like a private oasis to retreat to and recharge. Every detail in the apartment is lovely - we especially enjoyed the comfortable bed, the gorgeous terrace, and being able to do laundry. Giacomo's guide, with robust recommendations, was extremely helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed eating at various places on the list. Thanks to Giacomo, Rudi, and Hortensia for quick replies and helping throughout our stay! Check in and check out were easy, and we appreciated Rudi organizing a ride for us to the airport early Saturday morning. We would definitely stay here again!
