House holiday rentals in Motovun

Best house I’ve ever stayed at, fantastic. We were a large group of 17 people (5 kids) which came together from different countries and cities to chill and have fun. House offered everything it described, unbelievable architecture, great amenities, very cozy and clean, easy to reach. Large kitchen, comfortable furniture, fantastic patio, workable grill. Surrounding is decent (dry dock for speedboats and yachts next to the house), but still very calm (if you don’t count the local chickens and dogs which are providing the natural environment). The doors and windows are, however, brilliantly insulated so basically you will hardly hear anything when in one of the rooms. Till was a great host, always responsive and helpful in all aspects! Gave us recommendations, helped us prepare everything upfront, kudos. We definitely hope to return to Stara Škola for another great experience.

Das Haus ist einfach großartig. Genauso wie beschrieben, eher besser. Der beheizte Pool ermöglicht es, stundenlang im Wasser zu spielen. Kinder können dabei vom beschatteten Sitzplatz aus beaufsichtigt werden. Die vielen anderen Spielmöglichkeiten im und beim Haus erlauben es, ganze Tage ohne Langeweile darin zu verbringen. Die Klimaanlage hält das Haus angenehm kühl und kann individuell gesteuert werden. Die Ausstattung ist in einem Top Zustand. Ivan ist ein toller Gastgeber und antwortet in Rekordzeit. Wir waren als Familie mit 5 Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern dort und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem Haus. Ein super schönes Ambiente, Innen wie Draußen. Ich möchte auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Perfekt um sich mit Freunden oder Familie eine schöne gemeinsame Zeit zu machen. Vielen lieben Dank für alles!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war super schön, sehr sauber und top gelegen. Die Übergabe lief reibungslos und bei Fragen oder kleinen Problemen war sofort jemand erreichbar – immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders schön fanden wir die vielen Tipps und Empfehlungen von Benjamin zu Unternehmungen und Restaurants in der Umgebung – das hat unseren Aufenthalt noch besser gemacht. Klare Weiterempfehlung!

Was für eine unglaublich schöne Villa! Bei weitem der beste Airbnb-Aufenthalt aller Zeiten. Es ist einfach wie zu Hause zu sein, ein schönes Haus in der Tat! Spektakuläre und funktionale Küche, Glas überall für einen herrlichen Blick auf den Pool und über die nahe gelegenen Hügel, vier super komfortable Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad, alle extrem sauber, alles einfach perfekt. Der beheizte Pool im späten Oktober ist ein Juwel. Am wichtigsten ist, Emma und Felix sind extrem freundlich, nett, flexibel und reagieren auf alle Kommunikation rechtzeitig. Mehr kann man sich nicht wünschen.

Wundervoller Aufenthalt – sehr empfehlenswert! Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Die Villa war sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage war ideal – ruhig, aber dennoch in der Nähe von dem Meer Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und Gabi war jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würde definitiv wiederkommen!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is a hidden gem. While the original description was a little misleading, suggesting the house is in Rovinj (it is actually in Modrušani, near the small town of Žminj - 20 minute drive to Rovinj), that didn't take anything away from the beauty of the place. The house is tastefully furnished, the kitchen very well equipped and all bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom. The pool area with lounge chairs and umbrellas, as well as the outdoor kitchen were amazing. Thank you Marta for being a great host! We'll be back whenever we get a chance.

We had an absolutely wonderfull time at the magnificent house. We are definetly planning to come back as our entire family had a great time. The view from all rooms, as well as the great outdoors facilities made this stay at no time boring. Thank you once again for a great time.... and thank you Aurora for all help while we were there!

Gorgeous flat right in the middle of old town Rovinj, but it was off the main streets so very quiet no matter what time of day. So spacious and tidy, and really felt at home there. Absolutely would stay again.

We stayed here for one week with our 3 kids. The place is beautiful, very quiet yet close to Koper, a animated city (about 10 min by car). It's a good spot to start a trip to one of several beaches (20-30 min), famous caves (30-40 min) or Ljubljana (1h drive) or even hiking in the Triglav area (2h drive). The house itself is very nice, clean and offers everything you need. The kids especially loved the big pool which they could access whenever they wanted. Andreja is very kind and helpful and gave us a lot of great Tips. Thank you very much!

Toller Aufenthalt. Alles gut geklappt. Man muss sich allerdings im Klaren sein, dass die nächsten Restaurants / Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur per Rad oder Auto gut zu erreichen sind. Mit diesem Wissen ist die Unterkunft wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Top !

Wir waren Ende Mai mit unseren Hund für eine Woche an diesem schönen Ort. Bei der Ankunft liegt es etwas versteckt, trotz Navi aber die Fotos aus der Vogelperspektive von Ivan waren sehr hilfreich und wir haben es schnell gefunden. Die im hinteren Teil wohnende, liebe Inhaberin hat uns mit netten Gastgeschenken empfangen und wäre bei Fragen oder sonstigem Bedarf sofort da gewesen, war aber sonst sehr zurückhaltend. Das Haus hat eine gute Küche mit allem drum und dran und verfügt über ein neues und sehr schönes Bad. Ein herrlicher Garten und das Meer vor der Tür, was will man mehr. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die Woche genossen.

We hebben hier een fantastische tijd beleefd en voelden ons meteen thuis. Super huisje en super lieve en behulpzame mensen die je meteen welkom doen voelen met een super fijne attentie bij aankomst en tijdens het verblijf. Deze accommodatie is zeker en vast een aanrader. Wij komen zeker en vast nog eens terug.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der kleinen Casa von Ingrid und Daniele. Beide immer sehr freundlich und offen für Fragen. Wir haben die Lage genossen, wirklich ein kleines Privatissimum mit wunderbarem Ausblick, angenehmen Liegen auf dem Grundstück, und der Bucht zum Schwimmen vor der Tür. Außerdem viele Möglichkeiten für kleine Wanderungen um die Buchten, auf der Premantura (mit Auto), gute Restaurants und eine Strandbar, die auch fußläufig zu erreichen sind, und Pula fürs Sightseeing nur ein paar Kilometer entfernt. Für uns ein toller Ort zum Entspannen!

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was extremely clean and the large bed was comfortable. There is a nice area for sitting out in the lower garden. The sea view is somewhat misleading. While it is possible to view the sea it can’t be done from the apartment unless you walk across the lower garden. The seaview shown is essentially from SAs parent apartment on the upper floor. That said the garden is a pleasant place to sit out. As others have stated there is a language issue with SAs father but this was easily got round with hand signals etc. He was waiting for our arrival and showed us round the apartment and was pleasant to deal with. He also brought chocolate pancakes one evening. SA was very quick to respond to my queries prior to arrival and offered us the option to arrive early. Overall this is a pleasant place to stay.

Die Unterkunft war mit allem ausgestattet, was man brauchte und mehr. Alle Zimmer waren sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Obwohl der Pool nicht beheizt war, war er auch Mitte Juni schon angenehm temperiert, sodass es eine gute Abkühlung an den heißen Tagen war. Die Kommunikation mit Alan verlief einfach und freundlich. Uns hat es dort wirklich sehr gut gefallen.

Predivna mala kućica sa puno topline koje daje njen interijer. Savršena kućica za par, a ima sve što je potrebno, vanjska kuhinja također veoma korisna, pogled iz dvorišta na Motovun je prekrasan kao i vrt odmah ispod dvorišta. Ono što me oduševilo je da je voda iz špine upravo izvorska voda koja teče kroz selo i nevjerojatno dobra za piće, dugo takvu vodu nisam okusio. Mirna okolina, a pošto kao svaka stara istarska kuća ima veoma debele vanjske zidove izolacija je savršena, kao da susjeda ni nema. Preporuke svatkome tko traži odmak od gradske buke, zagađenog zraka, gužve i ostalog što ide u tom paketu. Savršeno.

Wir haben mit 2 Familien und insgesamt 10 Personen eine Woche in Ivas Haus verbracht. Iva hat uns persönlich empfangen und uns alles Wichtige gezeigt. Das Haus ist perfekt für 2 Familien geschnitten. Jede Familie hatte ihren eigenen Bereich mit Badezimmer und kleiner Küche. Unten befindet sich ein großzügiger Gemeinschaftsraum mit Küche und ausreichend Sitzgelegenheiten. Der Garten ist groß und mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen ausgestattet. Auch unter den wunderschönen Olivenbäumen kann man Schatten und Ruhe finden. Lage und Aussicht sind wunderschön. Der Pool ist so, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Die Kommonukation mit Iva war jederzeit freundlich und unkompliziert und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne, entspannte Zeit und waren rundum zufrieden. Vielen Dank dafür!

Iskustvo boravka u Casa Quieto je bilo izvrsno. Domaćica je vrlo pristupačna, a opet nenametljiva . Kuća je opremljena sa svime sto vam može zatrebati, od kuhinje, kupaonice boravka te vrtnog namještaja i bazena. Vrlo je ukusno uređena s puno prekrasnih detalja koji obogaćuju iskustvo boravka. Lokacija je u prekrasnoj prirodi i miru, a opet blizu većim mjestima sa dodatnim sadržajima. Čistoća je besprijekorna te bi se vrlo rado ponovno odlučili za smještaj u ovom objektu.

I've just returned from a 1 week stay and there were 4 adults and 1 baby. The baby room (wasn't on the listing) was excellent and very well equipped and this made our stay so much better. The property was beautiful and well described, but the pictures don't so it justice. The host was lovely and very helpful when we needed her and we will hopefully come and stay again in the future. A floor plan would be even more helpful for future guests because bedrooms on the ground floor and the baby room are big selling points for families or those with disabilities.

A Magical Stay in the Heart of Grožnjan! I've stayed at Airbnbs all over the world, and this place is easily one of the best I've experienced. The beautifully designed and decorated apartment, set in the heart of this enchanting medieval town, is truly magical and incredibly romantic. The upstairs bedroom, complete with a luxurious tub, feels like a dream. The attention to detail is remarkable—nothing about this space feels like a rental. It’s clear the owners spared no expense in making it special. From start to finish, everything was flawless. The communication was seamless, and the warm welcome, felt right at home. A bonus for those arriving by car: secured parking is available, which is a rare and much-appreciated feature in this area where parking can be tricky. It might sound like I’m gushing, but I promise I’m not exaggerating! I can’t imagine anyone giving this place less than 5 stars. Part of me wants to keep it a secret, but that wouldn't be fair, it deserves mention.

motovunest un charmant village medieval. la maison est tres belle et la vue du troisieme etage ou se trouve le salon et la cuisine est splendide. on est vraiment dans l’istrie verte. attention cepe dant la montee du parking jusqu’a la maison est tres tres pentue et la ruelle est pa ee. c’est tres sportif surtout avec une valise de 20kg! mais on esr recompense a l’arrivee. la chambre est spacieuse, le lit est top et la salle de bains tres avreable. il y a a solument tout ce qu’il faut. gel douche shpooing trousse de secours serviettes, mais aussi tout le necessaire dans la cuisine y compri une cafetiere italienne. nous sommes allees deguster des pâtes fraiches a la truffe dans le village avec vue sur la vallee, delicieux. la ville de rovi j en bord de mer est tres agreable, ai si que poreč .

Villa Motovun is one of the most beautiful houses we’ve stayed in. The house has been renovated with such care to detail, it has kept the traditional character but is completely modernised with all amenities you would need. We loved the colour schemes, the materials used. It was so comfortable, with many seating areas, very comfortable, large beds (super important!), every room with en-suite bathroom. The views from the terrace of the Mirna valley and Groznjan in the distance are stunning. We loved having the little heated pool, the sauna and the pool table. The local wine ‘mini bar’ was also nice and we could help ourselves to a bottle of local Malvasia or Teran. All in all a gem in a beautiful medieval hilltop town, walkable to some really good restaurants serving amongst other things, local homemade pasta with truffles, or wild asparagus in the spring. Thank you Zeljko for your hospitality. We hope to be back again soon.

A grand property stretching over four floors. Rooms were spacious and well furnished. A beautiful garden and terrace equipped with a state of the art BBQ and pizza oven. Bathrooms were a particular feature of this house. Overall a well equipped kitchen. The house lies within the traffic free zone of the impressive hilltop village of Motovun but parking nearby was never a problem. We enjoyed a great week in this house with its easy access to numerous walking routes in a quiet, unspoiled part of the world. Our hosts were friendly and responsive to our needs.
