⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Getaway on Nantahala Lake Our stay at this home on Nantahala Lake was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by peace, beauty, and everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable trip. The house itself is well-appointed—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed to help guests unwind. We especially loved the large windows that provided stunning views of the lake at sunrise and sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed for family meals, and the living spaces were comfortable for both quiet mornings and game-filled evenings. The private access to the lake was a major highlight. Whether we were swimming, kayaking, or just sitting around the campfire, it felt like we had a little slice of heaven to ourselves. The water is calm, and the surrounding mountains add to the serenity. If you're looking for a peaceful, nature-filled retreat with all the comforts of home, this is the place.

We had a great time! Luckily this cabin had some last minute availability and we got to go on a spontaneous adventure! The location and cabin were as described. Very quiet and peaceful, even with other cabins on the property rented at the same time! Some really minor things: -information on the cabin was scattered between the binder on site, the guidebook, and messages from the host. I suggest revising the guidebook and consolidating all info in one place. That way guests are searching for an answer in multiple places. -no batteries in the DVD player remote -some more details would be appreciated. Nothing huge, but making it more clear that the DVD player is the only thing you can use the TV for - it’s not a smart tv & no streaming device like a chrome cast. Also, detailed step by step troubleshooting for the hot tub would be helpful! You had included info about unplugging it, but we didn’t know to check the breaker/where it was until a few hours after we had first tried to use it

We're so glad we chose Kathy's house for our time in the mountains. It was clean and well-equipped. Her instructions were very clear and she was easy to reach with questions. And the views! Gorgeous !

The stay at Alex's cabin was very pleasant and just what my girlfriend and I had hoped for, the hot tub was a major plus for relaxing, the scenery was breathtaking, the piece and quiet was surreal and much needed. My only complaint was we had to go home. My next trip to Alex's cabin will be a longer stay and more planned out, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a romantic vacation.
