Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is a uniquely individual space retaining a wealth of originality, blended perfectly with a contemporary feel. We can welcome 6, with two double bedrooms and a large double sofa-bed in the galleried landing area. A spacious living area leads to a quiet outdoor patio with rural views. The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

The accommodation is located 45 minutes from Futuroscope, 45 minutes from La Rochelle, 10 minutes from Niort and 25 minutes from Marais Poitevin.

Possibility to rent bikes.

In the heart of the Poitevin marsh, on the immediate edge of the river, in a quiet area, the accommodation is ideally located to travel between Niort, the marsh, La Rochelle, Ile de Ré, Futuroscope, Vendée, Puy du Fou, Palmyre Zoo, Ile d'Oléron… Christelle and Jean-Michel, former boatmen guides, will be happy to introduce you to the marsh. You will have at your disposal, free of charge, a boat, a canoe and two bikes.

Situated on the outskirts of a quiet hamlet in Chives, this charming cottage with its stone walls, exposed beams and original fireplace has recently been fully restored. An ideal space for 2/4 people which includes kitchen, living and dining area, patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Guests can enjoy relaxing around the swimming pool, picnicking in the orchard or walking the surrounding countryside. A totally tranquil place to enjoy your stay.

Ideal for your vacation, this independent studio, includes 1 living room, 1 kitchen, equipped with dining area and living room, 1 shower room with toilet, a bedroom with 1 double bed 140 x 190. Guests will enjoy a terrace and a courtyard parking space, as well as access to an outdoor pool. Towels and bed linen are provided. This rental is also ideal for business trips (MAAF, MAIF, MACIF…). Baby crib available on request.
