Great stay! Condo was perfect for our family. Layout of the condo was great for family time and felt very spacious. Stephanie was a wonderful host and provided lots of information on things to do, restaurants, grocery stores,etc. Condo was stocked with linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, paper towels, pods for washing clothes and for the dishwasher, coffee pods, tea bags, spices, etc. The heated pool and hot tub were great and the beach was not crowded and very convenient to the condo. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back. Thank you, Stephanie!

We had a great stay. Perfect location and a quick walk across the way to the beach. House had everything we needed. Only negative we experienced was the water pressure in master bath was extremely low so running a bath took a long time. Highly recommend !

Great spot in the heart of pacific beach. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway and plenty to do within walking distance. Highly recommend this spot.

Great house!! Super clean, and so easy to maintain! Plenty of towels, and beach toys for the kids! Tim was a great host, and I would absolutely stay here again!

Jim’s place was very close to legoland (10 min drive) which made it easy to travel back and forth with a toddler. It is very family friendly and included a pack and play, books, high chair booster seat, sand toys etc. The proximity to the beach was also great! Finally, Jim even allowed us an early check in to squeeze in my toddler’s afternoon nap. I would highly recommend this place.

The condo was amazing and I felt very safe inside the gated community traveling alone. Linda allowed me to stay an extra day and was very responsive. The condo is literally a minute walk to the private beach access. I would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Angela’s beautiful condo! Everything was as described. Extremely private and peaceful location, with many walkable coffee shops, restaurants, and ridiculously delicious local doughnut shop! The ocean access is a very short walk from the condo, as is the heated pool and hot tub, which we really enjoyed! We looked forward to chatting with the friendly neighbors during our evening hot tub visits! Just an fyi, that after you book with Angela. You will be primarily dealing with the property manager through email. We had no issues with that :) Nicole was awesome! We hope to head back to Angela’s in the near future! Really cute and convenient spot close to shops, restaurants, the beach, and the freeway. Nicole was quick to respond to anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

My sister and I became new moms in the same year, which means family vacations now include 3 babies under 2 (yes, twins) — and a whole new level of planning and anxiety. Finding a place that can accommodate little ones hasn’t been easy…until Sand and Sauna! This Airbnb was nothing short of perfect. The home was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated to comfortably fit our multigenerational group, with activities and nearby bars and restaurants that even our not-so-little kids could enjoy (aka husbands/uncles). Bonus points for the arcade game! The location was ideal for our slow, baby-led mornings, with great breakfast and coffee spots just a short stroller walk away. The house was also easy to find and access, which made arrival/departure stress-free. Our host went above and beyond with communication, making us feel welcomed and supported throughout our stay. Traveling as a new mom is rarely relaxing, but this trip felt easy. We’re grateful for this space and hope to be back!

We had a fantastic stay at the property. The place is as described and definitely was above our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed a couple of evenings sitting out in the patio overlooking the ocean. Overall a well kept place - that’s clean, functional and has amazing views. The property management was prompt and clear on their instructions. Thank you for a great experience staying at the property!

This was a wonderful location for an easy family vacation. The kids could independently walk around, play tennis, and get in and out of the condo. They loved the loft, and there were plenty of supplies to enjoy the surrounding area. We used the boogie board and enjoyed the beach. We also walked the city and found great coffee, smoothies, meals and bike rentals. Groceries were convenient and there wasn’t much traffic anywhere. The nearby beach cities are easy to get to also, great place to stay for Del Mar racetrack also! The home was clean, all the A/C units worked beautifully, the laundry & other appliances were clean and worked well. Plenty of dishes, glasses, mugs, Tupperware for leftovers, and ziplock bags too. Kristi’s was great, and super attentive, however l, everything was so well thought out that we had no reason to get in contact all week. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

My father and husband have been battling cancer for the last four years, and this trip was particularly special for them. They were able to enjoy the comfort of a home away from home while visiting our oldest son and celebrating Father's Day. The place was wonderful, and we can't wait to book again—possibly both units if they are available for our extended family.

Beautiful ocean view on top of the cliffs. Easy walk to many restaurants and to the beach. The house is stocked with everything you need. I would definitely recommend.

We had a great time! All eight of us fit comfortably. We spent most of our time at various beaches, but being able to walk to the local beach in the evening was extra special. We really appreciated the extra beach towels, beach chairs, and boogie boards. it was also very helpful having washer dryer access.

Our stay here was amazing! We were close to great food, the beach and our family that lives nearby. It had every amenity that we needed and the host was quick to respond with any questions that we had. We would absolutely stay here again!

By far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at. We visit Carlsbad annually. This is truly a family beach house, not just an Airbnb flip to rent out. The details in the design and the beautiful artwork made it feel even more peaceful. Everything was very nicely renovated with nice fixtures and countertops, it was clean, and super comfortable. The beds and sheets were very cozy, as well as both couches. We actually stayed at the unit 2 doors down last year and this one blew it out of the water. In addition, the location is unbeatable!! You’re only a few easy walking blocks from the village, several restaurants, coffee shops, etc and you can access the beach right off the back patio with private access which makes it so much easier to use the restroom, clean up your beach mess, and go to and from easily. The condo complex has an outdoor shower, and the unit has its own hose. The beach patio is perfect for enjoying dinner overlooking the beach with a full table with umbrella. Hope to stay again!!

We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. Liz was super responsive and provided a lot of great details and information to ensure a seamless check-in and check out experience. There were games and activities for the kids, snacks and bottled water, and additional things like small sunscreens and toiletries which was such a nice touch. Highly recommend this home for a family vacation in Carlsbad.

Lovely space in Encinitas, California. Easy to get around. Parking was simple, amenities in the house were fantastic. Absolutely no complaints. Easy to walk around and get around. I would definitely come back.

We felt very comfortable. The furnishings are top modern, and everything worked perfectly. Short distance to the Beach, to great Restaurants and to the Supermarkets.

This was an amazing place to stay. The kitchen, living room, and bedrooms were beautiful and spotless! Guy was very friendly and responsive. Instructions for check in and out were very clear. Would definitely come back and stay!

We had 9 of us staying 5 nights and had a wonderful time. We each had our own space, home was in pristine condition and had everything we needed. Even all the extras like beach supplies, kitchen gadgets. It was super quiet, and peaceful. Kimmy was super responsive with any questions.

We had a magical week at Morgan's place. The location was dreamy, access to the beach was unmatched (coolest sunset views), the property peaceful and clean. The home itself is super cool with the bathrooms and bedrooms plus the loft space to work. The fridge and dining room was super spacious. Morgan was the kindest and most communicative host. We were sad to leave and can't wait to return!
