Milan's apartment is amazing and he is very hospitable and friendly. It is located in a large square in the heart of the old town with dozens of shops, restaurants, and bars within easy walking distance. The Zurich HB train station is a 10-15 minute walk and there is a full-size grocery store a few hundred meters away. We did not expect to need AC in Zurich in June, but the temperature was above 90F for two days, so we were very happy to have AC in Milan's apartment - many rentals do not have it. Note that the unit is on the 5th and 6th floors (plus a rooftop terrace on the 7th), and there is no elevator. Milan's family owns the cafe on the ground floor, and they graciously volunteered to carry the heavy luggage upstairs. If you have an early flight on your way out of Zurich, you may have to carry your own luggage down, but gravity helps. The view from the rooftop is spectacular, the kitchen is well-appointed, beds are comfortable, and bathrooms are modern. Very highly recommended.

The apartment was very tastefully decorated, great colors, everything you need to feel at home. All rooms were inviting and very clean. The house is in a quiet street, you can get to the lake in a few minutes or by bus to the city. Julia was always helpful and very communicative. You can really feel comfortable and relax here.

We loved Joerg and Michaela's apartment. We traveled with our year old daughter. Michaela has thought of so much for her alone. Baby dishes and cutlery, toys, baby cot, highchair and even outlet covers. Overall, the apartment has amenities that leave nothing to be desired. Everything very clean and well maintained. The balcony also invites you to sit comfortably together. Also, the contact with the hosts was very nice. So can only recommend a stay with you!

We were very happy during our stay there. The host was very friendly, the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and the house was very clean and the bedding and towels were clean. The kitchen utensils were also very tidy and looked new. I want to stay again.

Slim pickings in this area so we were happy to find Mai and Thomas's place near Frauenfeld so we could be near to family we were visiting. All worked quite well and they were helpful in accommodating us six and a baby, including providing a crib. There are two bedroom areas with a queen and a twin in each, so three sleep in each room. Kitchen is small but fairly well-stocked. Dining room is ample with a large table. Single bathroom with barrier-free shower so water gets nearly all over the bathroom when you shower. Bath was well-stocked with soap, shampoo, etc. All in all it was a very good stay. Thanks!

A much more welcoming feel than the pictures suggest – cozy, with beautiful views in a lovely setting. Fantastic walking right from the doorstep, and a great golf course with restaurants and a spa also within walking distance. Spotlessly clean throughout.

Already before our trip, we had such a friendly contact with Petra and Roger. Everything went wonderfully from start to finish. The place is a dream, clean, beautifully decorated, with lots of privacy and with everything your heart desires🙏❤. The location is perfect, with many possibilities for excursions (Wutachschlucht, Schluchsee, Rheinfall, Titisee, Lake Constance, Zurich and much more). A perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet in the countryside and still see a lot. Last but not least, Petra and Roger are perfect, loving 😍hosts who were always available and supported with valuable tips. Simply 5 star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 for everyone👍🙏. We had a wonderful time🙏.. Thank you for having us in your beautiful home. It's very comfortable, decorate with love and a lot of taste. All are very clean, and there's everything we needed for our week-long stay with a small family . Thank you for your warm welcome, for the fresh eggs from your chicken coop. It's beautiful little sheep, they love it. We are walking in the village and in the forest around, very easy. At night we saw little deer 🥰 on the road. Thanks Eva and Yves

The entire accommodation is beautiful, we would have loved to move in there. Everything is totally clean, modern, new and equipped with everything and more than you need. Large garden with deck chairs, hammock and large terrace, where you can relax and spend the day. Great kitchen and totally beautiful bedrooms. You are not far from the bus and train and thus quickly in Constance. Mario is a super friendly and accommodating host, you feel comfortable and welcome. The accommodation helped make our stay something special. I appreciate it 😍

Great host. Spacious, clean and very well equipped apartment. The house is divided into 6 appartments. Good location for biking, walking and visiting places. Very good communal facilities. Would love to return sometime.

Franziska's place is beautiful surrounded by pure nature. The house had everything we needed to just stay in the house and relax. The views are truly breathtaking. Franziska is responsive, friendly, and kind. I would definitely recommend her place. However, I wouldn't recommend to older people or people with physical disadvantages only because of the 15 min walk up the hill. It does take effort, but we loved it! We will definitely be coming back!

Barbara’s place was very well equipped, clean and felt very homely!! The view from the balcony is also very beautiful! Strongly recommend it!

We were now at Tobias' place for the second time. Like last time, we felt very comfortable in the apartment. There was nothing missing in amenities. The area is totally quiet and we slept well. We'd love to come back next year. We definitely recommend the apartment!

Super pleasant stay for 4. The outdoor area is already like a spa and is super clean. We had absolutely nothing to complain. The hosts are also extremely nice and accommodating. Especially when it comes to check-in and check-out, you can talk openly with both of them and they will accommodate you. We felt very comfortable from start to finish and will definitely ask again if we are looking for accommodation in this area.

Large apartment that is well furnished with a kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The neighbourhood is also very quiet - all we could hear were birds chirping. We also appreciated the clear instructions given by Raphael and Dianna. Overall, this is a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Appenzell region!

We booked to spend a weekend with friends. Thomas's accommodation is perfect, charming and well-equipped. It takes a little over ten minutes to walk to the center, but the place is quiet and the view of the lake is breathtaking.
