The Sarah Lesley Cabin! This off-grid, two bedroom log cabin has a private hiking trail along the top of the Deacon Escarpment leading to your stunning view of Golden Lake. Enjoy exploring, hiking, and canoeing; Cabin Comforts:propane fireplace, fridge/freezer, kitchenware, stove with oven, washroom with composting toilet and vanity with cold running water. Built with logs. Well equipped for cooking. Heated with woodstove - firewood included. In the middle of the forest. A lot of trails to enjoy. No neighbours. The perfect spot to unwind. We are farmers, a precise time of arrival is important. You are welcome to visit the farm.

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
