Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Pescasseroli

The accommodation was perfect, great location, close to walks, activities, historic sites and shops. There is a lakeside bar a short walk away. Views from the house looking out to Lake Scanno and the mountains are spectacular! Great hosts, very responsive. We stayed in Francesco's apartment from Thursday to Sunday and we had a great time! The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need, like staying at home! Monticchio is ten minutes from L'Aquila and half anhour from Fonte Cerreto, from which the cable car to Gran Sasso starts. The Gran Sasso is beautiful and, if you like nature, trekking, cycling or horseback riding, the location of the house is optimal to reach the natural attractions of the area. Andrea has built a a beautiful home in a magical place at the very top of a village. He was friendly and responsive, and it was one of the coolest and unique places we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chiara's, in lovely Capestrano, for two weeks in Abruzzo. It looked just like her photos, with ample space on two floors to spread out. The kitchen had the amenities we needed to prepare tasty meals with incredibly fresh local produce and dairy items. The small refrigerator was helpful to store our perishable culinary treasures. And wine! Tucked at the top of a staircase off of the small road, it was very quiet and very close to the main piazza. Whenever we needed groceries, a pharmacia, delicious morning espresso with cornetto, or a nightcap with some of the regions incredible wines, we were only a 5 minute walk away. Chiara was always quick to respond to any questions and very helpful with suggestions of what to do and see in the area. So many beautiful, charming mountaintop villages to explore! We felt very safe staying here and leaving for the entire day, to marvel at this most extraordinary, naturally stunning area of Italy.

Well-maintained and very cozy house. We had a very good time with the owner of the accommodation, very helpful and kind. I highly recommend if you want to live a relaxing and peaceful experience surrounded by greenery and excellent location as it is just a few minutes from the ski resorts.

Perfect structure in a fantastic village... place and home of the heart...

The place is very spacious and comfortable. The family who hosted us is made up of special people and very hospitable, especially Grandpa Giò. It is very easy to reach the train station, both on foot and by car, also because in front of the station there is a large free parking lot. The property is in a very quiet area from which you can easily reach the surroundings and organize pleasant excursions. Highly recommended!!! Thanks to Roberta and her beautiful family!!!

Beautiful and very clean chalet in the very quiet village of Roccacinquemiglia. An oasis for the mind and soul. Waking up to the chirping of birds and immersed in nature is priceless. Convenient location to get anywhere in a few minutes by car. Alessandro is very available and ready to meet every request. Highly recommended!

We took this house with friends and we really felt at home. It had everything we needed, comfortable and warm. As much as we liked it, we also decided to stay one more night. We hope to be back soon.

Short stay in a beautiful and peaceful village in Abruzzo. The house contains everything you need and the garden with pool is very well laid out. The owners are lovely people who also own a restaurant in the center, which we recommend you try.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. It looks even better than in the photos! Super peaceful & communication with the hosts was a deem. A little trouble with electricity but hey - it‘s rural Italy :) would definitely book again!

Ornella was a wonderful host, and we loved staying here! The house is about a 35min walk to the top of Pesche, and a 5min drive to Isernia. We have recommended this place to all of our family that will soon visit. Only downfalls of the property: A little cold in the house, but there were plenty of blankets. Also, the water was not very hot, which made showering a bit uncomfortable. All in all, we would definitely stay here again. It’s cozy and quiet, and inconveniently located to everything we wanted to see.

Very nice house with great pool. The hosts are very friendly and can give good advices for the area. The cave of falvaterra is amazing and many other places can be visited from there.

Wow! This farmhouse was spectacular! Charming in every way with wonderful furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, great coffee, and so many lovely places around the property to sit, relax, take in the views, enjoy a meal. The location between the mountains and the sea was perfect for swimming and hiking. Best of all was the attentive host Paulo who made many excellent local recommendations, including helping to guide us through a medical emergency. Highly recommend!

The garden is lush and full of colorful flowers, and the pool was a highlight—refreshing and well-kept, ideal for relaxing under the sun. Just a five-minute drive away is the quaint town of Maenza, where you can enjoy a walk through its cozy streets, visit a historic castle, and discover a few delightful restaurants and a local shop in the center.
