Beach house holiday rentals in Portobello

Our family spent a wonderful week here. The location is beautiful, right on the beach. Gorgeous views! Our grandchildren had a ball , building sandcastles. The house is very well equipped. Everything you could possibly need.

Great cottage, very well kitted out, lovely touches and the previous reviews on the comfiness of the beds was very accurate. We managed to sit out for breakfast in the beautiful garden. Great location, easy to get around. Would recommend a walk down to Pan Ha and some food in the Harbour masters cafe ( book first) We discovered that we had lost the front door key at 9pm on Friday night. Response was so quick it was so appreciated. We had tired kids and just wanted to go back to the house. We got a replacement key within 20 mins! If they will have us back we would definitely book again 😁

Jennifer’s cottage is a great base to explore the beautiful Fife coast. The property was very well equipped and there was convenient parking in a free car park just behind the cottage. Many thanks, Jennifer

This was the sweetest little cottage ! Having the beach at the bottom of garden was perfect ! Our chihuahuas loved it too! The garden is fabulous! And has inspired me to do something similar in my own Adding some wild edibles and camomile in the grass ☺️ Very comfortable cottage and had everything we needed! Enjoyed relaxing in the loft sitting room. Lovely and bright. And fab sea view from every floor . There is nothing I can fault ! Perfect location and we would def return ! Loved the old dresser in the kitchen!

A spotlessly clean well located house! Amazingly spacious kitchen. Perfect for our 2 night stay. 5 mins walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk into central St Andrews. Really please.

Had a fantastic stay at Cardy Cottage. It was lovely to be so near the sea and enjoy walks along the beach. The dog also loved it! The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were comfy.

Lovely, cosy cottage in a great location just off the High Street. Well equipped and lovely modern decor. Great for walking to local attractions and the other villages in the East Neuk.

This was a lovely place to stay. I was attending a wedding close by and it was perfect for what we needed. Scott was great to communicate with and a really lovely guy, will definitely be back.

The place is very clean, beautiful and cosy! There is a nice ocean view. The kitchen amenities are very complete and clean, and the hosts know what the guests need. Would come back again!

Scots place was beautiful. Lots to do inside and outside. Kids had lot of fun as there were toys scooter and bike. There was colouring books and pens card games kids did not get enough time as we only booked for one night. Scott was kind and he extended our check out. Kids made the most out of it. Not far away from Edinburgh castle which was our holiday plans to explore Edinburgh city. Clean kitchen and toilet and shower. We had everything we needed in the caravan. Thanks Scott for making the one night stay comfortable. You are a star

Absolutely fantastic house with plenty of space, beautifully presented and with amazing sea views. The host met us on arrival and explained everything we wanted to know about the property, which has an amazing history. The property is beautiful, with all the equipment you need for a great stay. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom peaceful, with the sound of lapping waves if you open the window. The area is great, lovely coastal walks, tidal swimming pool and a supermarket a short drive away. Oh and of course the award winning fish and chip shop in Anstruther which is only 15 mins walk away!

We had a wonderful stay at Margo’s holiday home in Crail. Lovely location by the coastal walk which has a great play park for kids. Thanks Margo!

A beautiful house with sheltered private garden. Great location in the centre of Elie. Ann was very responsive to messages. Comfy beds, beautiful kitchen and fabulous showers! We would love to come back!

We stayed as a group of 6 friends for a nearby wedding. We loved being walkable down to the beautiful Gullane beach. Recommend the Goose on the Green for good coffee and The Bonnie Badger for a drink in the sun. Janis was really helpful and let us check in / out at different times.

My family and I had a great stay! The airbnb was very clean and comfortable - we felt right at home. The host, Kerr, had great communication and was very responsive. The home had a beautiful view of the Old Course's 18th hole and Swilcan Bridge, and the location was extremely convenient and walking distance to town. We would love to return and stay there again!

We had a lovely Christmas break in Jessica and Pumulo's amazing home. The house is very beautiful and had everything we needed for a perfect Christmas day. The kitchen is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Everything is beautifully decorated and we appreciated the festive decorations and Christmas tree. The area is very peaceful but there's lots of very good restaurants and places to eat nearby. The park at the end of the road was perfect for our dog and it was a beautiful walk along the river into Edinburgh. We didn't want to leave. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

We had a great time celebrating our wedding anniversary in Lindsey's wonderful house. Perfectly situated for our activities in Edinburgh and the Cairngorms, it had everything you could hope and wish for with so much personality and amenities included. Lindsey was always very quick to respond and a truly wonderful host. Would highly recommend and certainly stay again when in the area.
