Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Rhone-Alpes

What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

If you're reading the reviews to convince yourself whether or not to choose this Airbnb... look no further!! I'm telling you: GO FOR IT! This place is amazing, everything is perfect. So many things available, in a beautiful setting like this. It feels good! It feels like home. Honestly, it's a little slice of heaven. Go there without a second thought!

An unforgettable stay in a real corner of paradise. The house is so well located, you don't believe it, you think you're on a private beach, just beautiful (and very quiet!) We return home, rested, refreshed, thank you to Dominique for hosting us.

Walters Home is a wonderful oasis for all who appreciate peace and nature! The house is furnished with a lot of love and taste, everything is there to make you feel comfortable immediately. We especially liked the spacious terrace, the winter garden with the beautiful view of the countryside! Since the described access goes down the slope over hill and dale, travel bags are definitely the right choice and not for guests with limited mobility. Dear Walter, also in this way again a big thank you for the hospitality, also the fast and nice communication. Gladly again!

From a warm welcome and patience with us as well as our dog, to welcome gifts and an AIRBNB that is even more beautiful, larger and better equipped than in the pictures, to a huge pool with a breathtaking view and atmosphere. Nice people, clean room, great view!

Unsurprisingly, the place is as we expected. The description is totally accurate, the change of scenery is total. The comfort is still there and it's very pleasant. Welcoming and responsive host. Do it without hesitation!

We took the accommodation for one night with 11 friends, and we were not disappointed! The place is beautiful, quiet, with a view of the mountains, in addition to a swimming pool and a jacuzzi that allow you to enjoy the view even more quietly. The interior is great, there is space and it is clean. Have fun with the petanque court, ping pong table, pool, foosball etc... Very happy to have chosen this accommodation, I recommend Sébastien's house without hesitation! ;)

Léa was friendly, efficient and flexible, and I would like to see everyone in this field be like her! The accommodation, the environment and the neighborhood were what we remembered most from this stay! We had a beautiful 5 day stay at La Chapelle. This place is unique!

This accommodation is by far the cleanest we have rented! Everything is impeccable. The place is super quiet. The owners were kind enough to install a shade sail on the pergola to protect us from the heat. A real luxury! I would recommend it without a second thought!

We had a great time with the family. The accommodation is outstanding and is something very special. There's nothing missing here. The view of Mont Blanc from the chalet, as well as the possibility of using the many hiking trails directly from the accommodation, are spectacular. Vincent is an excellent host. I am deliberately not saving on superlatives here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We look forward to being Vincent's guest again in the future.

Anne Marie was a great host. The place is amazing, having an incredible view and loads of room in the backyard and front yard to relax. Anne Marie is extremely friendly, super quick to respond and very helpful. Her pets are adorable and also very friendly. Exceptional location with a nice lake view and absolute quiet. The accommodation is very charming, spacious and well thought out, our cats loved being able to climb up high and observe nature through the large windows (yes pets are allowed!). Note that there was no air conditioning while it was mentioned on the listing, it seems that it is only installed for the two months of summer, but there are enough openings to be able to ventilate properly when it is cooler.

A beautiful place to stay in the mountains surrounded by nature. Complete privacy, stylish furnishings. The fire was already prepared in the oven. Everything very cozy. Our highlight was Bart the Ridgeback dog, who picked up our dog several times a day to play on the property or in the forest. We will be back!
