Holiday rentals with a patio in San Giovanni La Punta

Erg fijn verblijf gehad. Alles was schoon en comfortabel. We hadden mooi uitzicht op de Etna vanaf het ene balkon waar we in de ochtend lekker in de schaduw konden ontbijten. Maar als we zon wilde, gingen we op het andere balkon zitten met uitzicht op zee en de tuin beneden. Als we vragen hadden dan reageerde Aretas erg snel en vriendelijk. We voelde ons al gauw op ons gemak én we waren maar wat blij met de parasol die aanwezig was. Het restaurant tegenover het appartement complex is een aanrader! De Airbnb is een prettige uitvalsbasis voor omliggende steden en natuurgebieden.

Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Carla ist eine sehr nette und jederzeit erreichbare Gastgeberin, bei der man sich gut aufgehoben fühlt. Die Wohnung ist insgesamt sehr schön. Die Betten waren bequem, und sowohl die Bettwäsche als auch die Handtücher waren sauber. Unser persönliches Highlight war der Ausblick…einfach traumhaft! Auch der Poolbereich hat uns gut gefallen, allerdings waren die Liegen leider etwas unbequem. Praktisch: Es gibt zwei Wege in die Stadt. Leider haben wir erst nach ein paar Tagen den einfacheren und schnelleren Zugang entdeckt…ein kleiner Tipp für zukünftige Gäste, sich gleich am Anfang ein bisschen umzuschauen. Insgesamt hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank, Carla, für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft!

Spent a very nice 3 nights here, and very happy with our stay. Had excellent pizzas at local restaurants recommended by Gabriella, and nearby bakery was top notch. Absolutely requires a car. If you can handle Sicilian driving then the driveway is not a big deal. Plan on 1 hour drives to Etna, Taormina, Catania.

Gennaro and his family are great and very kind hosts. Flat is located in clean and safe modern part of town just 20 minutes walk from Piazza del Duomo, trough authentic streets, old buildings, parks and local markets. AliBus Connection with Airport is perfect, AliBus station is just in the front of the building. Central bus station is 10 minutes walk down the streat. Local food stores and Lidl are located next to the building. Restaurants that Gennaro recommend are close and affordable with good food on the menu. Definitely we will come back again, highly recommend!

This en-suite room including a kitchenette matches the photos and the balcony is a bonus, where you can have a drink or a bite with a garden view. The location is great! There are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance and of course the seafront and promenade. I think this place was good value for money and the local recommendations were very helpful.

Eiendommen er helt fantastisk. Bassenget og uteområde er virkelig nydelig og vi koste oss masse. Perfekt for en eller to familier. WishSicily er utrolig imøtekommende, svarer raskt, kommer med anbefalinger før jeg rakk å spørre og hjalp til med det som dukket opp. Eiendommen er en oase hvor det er fantastisk å oppholde seg. På utsiden av porten er det mindre interessant. Det er ikke mulig å gå noen steder, så bil er avgjørende. Lokasjonen generelt er topp. Kort reisevei til vingårder, Etna, Taormina, Catania og flere andre små søte steder. To ting å pirke på. Det var ganske mye stress med søppelhåndteringen. Det er også begrenset med elektrisitet inkludert i oppholdet. Vi var forsiktig med bruk av strøm og det var ikke sommer på sitt varmeste, og vi brukte nesten dobbelt av det som var inkludert. Alt i alt vil jeg anbefale stedet på det varmeste og vi vil gjerne komme tilbake.

L'appartamento é incantevole e spazioso ed é anche presente un terrazzino privato che abbiamo sfruttato moltissimo. La posizione é ottima sia per raggiungere il centro a piedi, sia per raggiungere località esterne in auto. É sempre presente parcheggio a breve distanza dall'abitazione. Luigi é stato impeccabile e disponibile ad ogni orario, sempre pronto a dare un consiglio su cosa fare o dove mangiare ed anche a intervenire per la risoluzione di ogni problema. Peraltro, ha avuto l'accortezza di lasciarci all'arrivo beni di prima necessità per farci sentire subito accolti. Straconsigliato.

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich toll. Die Wohnung ist super, sehr sauber, toll gelegen. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Demetra war immer direkt zu erreichen. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft herzlich weiter! Dankeschön, Demetra!

Adorable cottage with incredible views! It was perfect location for the three of us. Smack in the middle between Teormina and Catania with gorgeous Reposto in between. That is if you have a car. The accommodations are just as described and on the photos. Maybe a little more of a seating area in the living room would be fantastic since that is where the internet is the strongest. Otherwise the garden, the jacuzzi, the neighborhood - all are beyond enjoyable! We would love to come back. Oh, yes, if you are thinking about hiking Mount Etna - just ask Andrea! You would have the BEST experience possible!!!!

What a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, with homemade wine, olive oil, and fresh cherries from the garden. The hospitality was truly exceptional. Thanks to the fantastic recommendations, we discovered restaurants we never would have found on our ohne and each one was a hidden gem. The accommodation itself is full of character and charm. Every piece of furniture and decoration seems to have its own story. And the view was absolutely breathtaking! We couldn’t get enough of it. All in all, a perfect holiday with plenty of relaxation. Alfio ist zurecht ein Superhost. Hat ubs Wasserflaschen in den Kühlschrank gelegt. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was du brauchst (inkl. Olivenöl, Servuetten etc. z.B.). Die Wohnubg ist erste Klasse für 2 Päarchen, da es sowohl zwei separate Stiegenaufgänge, zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei Badezimmer gibt. Sie ist auffallend lieb maritim eingerichtet. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse ein Traum. Vielen Dank nochmal für alles. 😃

Auf unserer 3 wöchigen Sizilienrundreise waren wir 5 Nächte in der Unterkunft von Renato. Aci Castello ist ein wunderschöner kleiner Vorort von Catania. Das Haus ist wirklich sehr gemütlich und hat eine tolle Dachterrasse. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage und bei der Ausstattung haben wir nichts vermisst. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und alles was man benötigt ist fussläufig erreichbar (Weinbar, Restaurants und Supermarkt) Renato ist ein herzlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber!!! Wir können die Unterkunft 100% weiter empfehlen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Klare Empfehlung. Ottavio war ein sehr angenehmer Gastgeber. Wir haben hier 11 wunderbare Tage verbracht und die Lage dieser Wohnung genossen. Wir konnten von hier siziliens Ostküste mit Bus und Bahn sehr bequem bereisen. Dafür war die Wohnung sensationell. Sie liegt nur ein paar Schritte von Metro entfernt. Innerhalb von ein paar Minuten waren wir am Hauptbahnhof und eine Station weiter im touristischen Zentrum Catanias. Der erster Kaffee in der Sonne auf der Terrasse hat uns den Start in den Tag versüßt. Die Betten sind sehr gut, die Kopfkissen waren okay. Wir konnten hier sehr gut kochen aber die Pizzerien und die Eisdiele in der nähe sind sehr empfehlenswert.

Asha is probably the best host I have ever met on Airbnb, super helpful and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The apartment is right in the middle of the best street for food and drinks spots, and a short walk from public transport. Highly recommend! :)

We had a great stay at Giuseppe’s. The apartment was beautiful, we had everything what we needed there. We loved the location as well and Giuseppe is such a thoughtful host! We will definitely come back when we’re in Catania. Thanks Giuseppe for the wonderful stay!

Conveniently located close to the main area and easy to access from the airport via public transport. Very authentic Sicily - the place came with great recommendations of places to go and foods to try. I very stupidly left some jewellery in the apartment and realised about half way to the airport. It had no monetary value but extremely high sentimental value - Claudia was so helpful and was able to get it from the cleaners and send it back to me!!! I am forever grateful!!! Some things to note regarding the apartment: 1. There are a few flights of stairs to tackle to get up to the apartment. 2. on the first night we stayed the noise from the bar next door was VERY loud in the main bedroom, consider earplugs. Everything was as described and easy to find and host communication was great!

Die Wohnung ist ein Traum, wir haben uns dort direkt sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie ist so wie auf den Fotos, sauber, geräumig, gut ausgestattet, liegt direkt im Stadtzentrum und bietet einen Parkplatz. Wunderbar ist die Terrasse mit Blick auf das Theater. Wir hatten sogar Glück und konnten ein Schauspiel beiwohnen. 🙂 Gaetano ist ein super Gastgeber. Sehr höflich, zuvorkommend, immer erreichbar mit Tipps für die nahegelegenen Restaurants.

This was a magical finale to our week traveling through Sicily. This apartment had the most stunning views (even our taxi drivers commented on how amazing the location was) and Dorotea provided taxi recommendations to get into town. We were close enough to both city center and Isola Bella to experience all of Taormina. Nothing can beat watching the sunrise from the patio! The AC was also great. Dorotea was incredibly helpful and made the experience so easy and enjoyable.
