Das Haus von Timo liegt direkt am See 20 Meter von der Ylläs Swing entfernt. Die Langlauf-Loipe beginnt direkt vor dem Haus. Äkäslompolo ist ein Langlauf Paradies, für Anfänger und auch ambitionierte Langläufer, hervorragende Präparation der Loipen - ein Paradies! Das Haus von Timo bietet alles: Lage, Ausstattung, Sauna, Dusche, 2 WC, gedeckter Parkplatz, sogar das Holz für das Kamin mit grossem Fenster liegt bereit, es lässt keine Wünsche offen. Einfach grossartig! Da gehen wir wieder hin!

The summer cottage and surroundings are beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing. We arrived from the UK in the early hours of the morning and the location was very easy to find by car. We made full use of the sauna, hot tub, bbq and kayak during our stay. There is a small beach area with shallow water and our daughter enjoyed playing there. The cabin is very clean and spacious with everything that a family could need. The owners 2 little dogs would visit us everyday and this was a highlight for our daughters. Thank you to Mirka and Timo for a wonderful holiday and for always being there to help and give tips on places to visit in the local area. We would definitely recommend staying at the summer cottage.

This house is truly wonderful, with a direct view of the lake and a large window overlooking it, making the view absolutely stunning. Everything was clean and fully equipped. The host was kind and flexible, allowing us to check out an hour later than scheduled. It also has a spacious balcony with a nice seating area and a barbecue spot. We spent just one day there, but we wished we could have stayed longer. This place truly takes you away from the worries of the world.

Viihdyimme hyvin 2-vuotiaan ja koiran kanssa. Ympäristö oli rauhallinen, isoista ikkunoista katsellessa tuntui tosiaan, että luonto tulee sisälle asti. Vietimme 3 yötä, pidempäänkin oltaisiin viihdytty. Katettu uima-allas pelastus, kun toukokuun sää ei ollut vielä riittävän kesäinen. Pihapiiri ja sisätilat viihtyisät sekä toimivat. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in Julies außergewöhnlichem, geschmackvollen Architektenhaus - tatsächlich das schönste Haus, in dem wir je übernachtet haben! Außerdem überaus sauber und toll gelegen. Vielen Dank & wir freuen uns schon auf unsere Rückkehr im nächsten Jahr! :-)

Vi blev så fint mottagna – allt var rent, välordnat och det var verkligen en fin gest med nyplockade vilda blommor i vaserna. Huset ligger avskilt och var helt perfekt för en lugn och avkopplande vistelse. Utsikten var fantastisk och omgivningarna så vackra. Vi kände oss verkligen välkomna och hoppas få komma tillbaka!

We had a great stay at this superb villa in Päijänne. Villa was even more impressive than in photos and everything was high quality, very clean and well maintained. Beach sauna and jacuzzi were the perfect combo to relax in the evening. Highly recommend for a getaway in nature.

Ein Traum von Erholung – absolut empfehlenswert! Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus! Das Haus ist äußerst geschmackvoll und luxuriös eingerichtet – es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die hochwertige Ausstattung, das stilvolle Design und die Liebe zum Detail. Die Lage ist traumhaft ruhig und perfekt, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen und vollkommen zu entspannen. Morgens auf der Terrasse frühstücken, dabei nur die Vögel zwitschern hören – herrlich! Auch die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war unkompliziert, herzlich und professionell. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Ein Ort, an den man gerne zurückkehrt – absolute Empfehlung für alle, die Ruhe, Komfort und Stil suchen!

Second time we’ve chosen to stay with Louis, and we will definitely be back. The house is in a calm area, with amazing scenery, clean, and fully equipped.

Vi var 6 vuxna och 4 barn och alla var supernöjda!!! Alla älskade poolen, barnen ville inte lämna huset, de ville helst bada hela tiden. Hopfällbart pingisbord användes högfrekvent. Fanns många sällskapsspel. Utsikten är fantastisk. Jättefina uteplatser. Ett toppenhus att hyra med en värd som var mycket lätt att få kontakt om en fråga uppstod. Kan varmt rekommenderas.

Absolutely breathtaking. Every finish and detail felt purposeful and meticulously considered. The photos are precise, and the description is exact. We had a deeply relaxing, delightful time. There’s so much to enjoy and little reason to leave: we took the canoe out to circumnavigate small islands dotted with charming gulls, read peacefully on the dock, watched the water shift with the light, and ended each day in the delightful sauna. The summer nights glowed warm and still, turning every movie into a kind of fairytale. The house itself offers many distinct spaces—each one a quiet stage for nature’s daily choreography. From the moment we turned off the main road onto the enchanting gravel path—lined with tall trees and singing birds—we felt ourselves begin to exhale. We’ve stayed in many beautiful places around the world, and this one felt truly special. The host was very helpful and responsive, and his house manual detailed and helpful.

This was a wonderful location for our family gathering. The house was beautiful and the view was outstanding. The house functions well for a larger group and it was easy access to all Bergen has to offer.

Heli’s place was more beautiful than the photos. Very private and peaceful even with neighbors in the area. House had all the amenities and more, we really enjoyed our three day stay!

Super séjour chez Liina. La maison est exceptionnelle, l’emplacement au bord du lac et la vue de la maison est époustouflante. Elle a tout pour que l’on se sente comme chez soi et parfaite avec des enfants (trampoline, canoë, bateau…) Liina est adorable et nous a partagé pleins d’informations sur les choses à faire aux environs. Frida var fantastiskt både innan- och under hela vår vistelse. Svarade snabbt och var alltid flexibel med våra önskemål. Huset var vackert beläget och hade allt man önskade för en tjejhelg. Skulle gärna vilja komma tillbaka hit någon annan gång.

Mökki oli lyhyen matkan päässä keskustasta ja paikalle oli helppo löytää. Varustelut oli mökissä todella hyvät ja palju kruunasi varsinkin lasten reissun :) Siisteyteen voisi panostaa vähän enemmän myös sesonkien ulkopuolella, esimerkiksi sänkyjen alla pyöri pölypalloja. Mutta tämä oli ainut miinus, tulisimme uudelleenkin!

The host was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a personally prepared herbal tea and a thorough introduction to all the house’s facilities, both inside and out. He also shared many helpful and insightful tips for exploring the local area. The house itself was modern, well-equipped, and impeccably maintained, surrounded by beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. It was truly a perfect and unforgettable stay.

Stayed 5 nights as a family of 6 and loved every minute. Amazing house and location. Ludvig and Anna couldn't have been more helpful. Huge thanks - I'm sure we will be back!

Fantastiskt ställe att samla hela stora familjen på. Möjligheter att umgås och samtidigt kunna dra sig undan då huset bjuder på många vilsamma platser både ute och inne. Funkade perfekt för oss alla i åldrarna 8-78 år! Mårten är en väldigt hjälpsam värd, vi kände oss väldigt välkomna. Rekommenderas varmt!

Really great place with nice touches of luxury. Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids enjoyed our stay - we loved especially the pool and jacuzzi.
