Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Schmallenberg

We stayed at Anita's place for the second time. Like two years ago, it was very clean. The space complies with the descriptions. The sauna works great and warms up relatively quickly. The area is also great, there are a lot of nice activities. We missed the no longer existing hot tub (which was clearly not included in photos or description), but otherwise everything was great. we thought it was a nice holiday home. everything was present for a nice homecoming rest and food after our bike days in the bike parks in the area. especially the living room with the terrace with wide views was great! recommended for those who love outdoor sports, tranquility or nature!

We felt completely comfortable in Uta's cottage! The communication with Uta was great. The accommodation is super quiet on the edge of the village - perfect for really switching off. Inside, everything you need is there: a small, well-equipped kitchen, a fireplace, a comfortable bed, a cozy sofa with TV - everything to make you feel at home. Beautiful walking paths start right outside the door. Our highlight was the completely fenced (dog-proof!) garden. There, our furry friend could run around freely, play or doze in the grass. Everything was there for the dog (dog blanket for the sofa, food/water bar, garden hose and towels). From the terrace, you have a great view of the countryside - ideal for letting your thoughts wander or enjoying the sunset. In short: For us, the perfect accommodation to relax and simply unwind - far away from the hustle and bustle, neighbors and everyday stress.

This was an amazing place to stay. You feel at home with the first step that you take into this cute house. It is cozy, comfortable, and is stocked with anything you need for the first day you arrive. The Kitchen is equiped with all the necessary things, ready for a chef to cook for family or friends. Thanks to this great accommodation, we spent wonderful days in the Sauerland. We felt very comfortable from the beginning; everything was exactly as described. Great location, surrounded by nature, nice house,cozy but everything present, fenced terrace , ideal for our dog and view of a beautiful garden, so much to see in the area and endless walks to make , really recommended

We had a great stay. The accommodation is super cozy, modern and well equipped. The outdoor area also leaves nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, we had bad weather, otherwise we would certainly have used the nearby lake. All in all, we are very satisfied and would come back. Beautiful location, surrounded by nature, lots of sunlight. House is cozily decorated, you feel right at home. Anything you need is available. Extra effort was made for our small children (baby cot, high chair, stair gate). Close to beautiful hiking trails and only 5 to 10 min drive to other places in Winterberg for skiing/sledding. In the evening enjoyed a campfire and the sauna. Communication with the owners prior to our stay went very smoothly!

Super beautiful, large apartment. Amenities also sufficient for all people. We had a great stay with a large family! We especially liked the large bathroom with the shower. We would gladly come again, we couldn't explore the whole hiking area in one weekend.

We felt very comfortable from the first minute. We were warmly welcomed. The apartment is beautiful, super clean and well maintained. We liked the quiet location very much. When we had a question about the fireplace (don't have one at home😀), Silvia supported us by phone. The beds are totally cozy. From the apartment it is not far to beautiful sights (Plästerlegge waterfall for example) and larger cities (Willingen, Winterberg for example) After an active, eventful day, we were happy to return to the quiet, cozy apartment. In the well-equipped kitchen, we quickly cooked together and then ended the day on the comfortable couch in front of the fireplace - with a glass of wine or a beer 😉 Fully deserved 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the great Steigerhaus and a perfect vacation in the middle of the beautiful mountains. ❤️ Many thanks and best regards from the Beckmann family We will be very here

We were with 2 adults and two 9 year old children in Gisela's apartment. Due to the cozy furnishings, spacious layout of the rooms and the rustic outdoor area, we felt very comfortable from the beginning. The contact with Gisela is very nice and unobtrusive. On a cool day, she provided us with extra wood for the stove. Particularly noteworthy is the absolute peace and quiet! We would come back.

The house is perfectly located between many outdoor activities, which we enjoyed during our stay at their location. Our daughter was very pleased with the play set and toys, which were provided. We can most certainly recommend staying here.

Beautiful house and super furnished, kitchen has everything for cooking, enough blankets and pillows, games, books. Were 16 people and despite bad weather and a lot of time in the house there was enough room for everyone :) Fast very nice communication with Lilia!

Very friendly host! Beautiful and spacious house. We would definitely recommend it and would love to come back with the large group. Everything is child- and dog-friendly, modern and bright. The only thing that could have been better would have been if our need for rooms had been asked in advance (we were guests in a very variable constellation: parents with up to three children, but also individuals). We thought that the booking amount would include ALL bedrooms. However, we could have easily booked additional rooms - spontaneously and on site. Thank you for the stay, dear Paul

Perfect home for us to cycle with some friends in the region in the region. Kitchen was well equipped, clean and large living room. Bedrooms were fine. Location is perfect and easily accessible. Instructions to get inside were clear. You can sit there on the balcony and there is a large garage to store our bicycles. Definitely a note!

We were with a group of 12 people and the house had enough space for everyone. The furnishings were super modern and the view was a dream.

We are absolutely thrilled with this fantastic apartment and felt completely comfortable. The apartment is very stylish, cozy and furnished to a high standard. The decoration is very tasteful and accentuated, even self-painted pictures of the owner were to be admired! The kitchen is equipped with everything and more that you can imagine or would not expect. Loving details are hidden throughout the house to give guests a pleasant stay. The upper (huge) bedroom has a fantastic panoramic view of the Möhnesee. Last but not least, the location of the apartment is simply priceless. The outdoor area with terrace, small garden and barbecue area is also extremely stylish, cozy and very well maintained. Everything is very inviting for cozy get-togethers and/or relaxation. The contact with the owner was extremely friendly, fast and uncomplicated - everything perfect. We will be happy to come back! We had a great stay. The house is very nice and the open fireplace is really the best for spending the cold winter evenings. The ski slopes of Winterberg are just a few minutes away, but there are plenty of other things to do in the surrounding area. We simply loved it.
