Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes, which is located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper's House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we work to make the house as authentic as possible, including by wallpapering the living room, kitchen, and hallway with skipper's house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery, which has a renovated bakery oven.

We rent out our funky house in Viga, in Spind. The house was built in 2018, and has a high standard. On the ground floor there is a hallway, laundry room, TV lounge with sofa bed, bathroom, and three bedrooms all furnished with 2 single beds. On the second floor there is a large kitchen, living room, dining table, TV area, bedroom with double bed, and large bathroom connected to this bedroom. Outside there is a difficult terrace with a lot of living space, various seating groups, jacuzzi and fire pit, and nice views!

Central in Valle Municipality. About 1 km to the center. Facilities in the house: Child-friendly, Wifi, SmartTv with BT soundbar Heat pump, Fireplace oven (by garage) Toilet, shower, dishwasher, Stove, coffee maker, fridge, freezer ++ Laundry is done by you who rent. Must bring towels and bed linen yourself (1.50 double bed and 1.80 double bed). In summer, it is a good idea to bring your own drinking water due to well water. We drink from the fountain otherwise in the year. You can boil the water if you are in doubt.
