Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Simmerath

Thank you for the warm welcome at the Refuge de la Carrière! There were 3 of us and we had a great stay! The space was spotless and very clean. It met our expectations perfectly. Beautiful region and direct environment, very quiet and beautiful walks nearby! 🌞 Looking forward to coming back!

Beautifully decorated house with amazing views of the castle from the windows. It was extremely comfortable and well equipped and we felt completely at home. Hanna and Sven were very friendly and welcoming and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat. There are two great restaurants less than 5 minutes walk away, and the old town is beautiful.

Sabrina’s place is very nice, super clean, spacious, well equipped. There are walks you can do straight from the house which we appreciated and enjoyed. Sabrina was very friendly, gave us many recommendations and she was very fast in responding.

We had a great stay, the house feels like a real home. Evelyn responded swiftly and when we had a minor problem it was fixes immediately. We use one of the three bikes which also worked perfectly.

We spent 10 very nice days in the Eifel. Located on the edge of the village with unobstructed views of the Eifel. Thanks to the great weather, we were able to use the beautiful terrace and explore the countless hiking trails in all directions with our dog. Questions were answered within the shortest possible time, we would come back every time! If you want a quiet vacation close to nature, we can only recommend this AirBnB and the hosts!

Our first stop of the 4-week cycling holiday. Everything breathes the atmosphere we love, both inside and outside. 1 night, was not enough afterwards. But we will definitely come back for a few days. Roos & Thijs have created a beautiful place. Compliments! Frits & Rob

What a wonderful stay we had! Beautiful house where everything was present. Nice beds too! Bring your own towels and bed linen, but that was fine! Surroundings are beautiful with beautiful wide views: deer seen and even a fox in the meadow in front of the cottage. Beautiful walks on the high Fens are a 6-minute drive away.

We felt very comfortable right away and will definitely come back to explore more of the area!

Hello Hilde and Manfred, It was nice to have met you and to have stayed with you. Everything worked out great. Your apartment was very nice and I was able to work very well (was necessary) with a great view of the garden. That was very relaxing :) There is a great Italian restaurant and an ice cream shop within walking distance, and on the day of departure we were in the nearby bakery for breakfast. Anyone who can enjoy this great place is lucky! So much attention to detail in every room is rare! Communication with Susanne and Achim also left no question unanswered and was very warm! From check-in to departure, EVERYTHING was just perfect! 1000 thanks - we felt completely comfortable!

We rented the accommodation for a bachelor party and were simply thrilled! The terrace, garden and conservatory are fantastically beautiful and offer a breathtaking view of the forest. The spacious space with barbecue and campfire bowl made our stay perfect. The host was incredibly accommodating and helpful, which made us feel welcome at all times. We felt completely comfortable and were very pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. Absolutely recommended! Thank you for the great time!

We had a wonderful midweek in the apartment together with our dog, who was also very welcome. The apartment is very large and complete, so you also felt right at home. We were warmly welcomed by Inge. The balcony offers fantastic views. The neighborhood is very quiet and for the dog it was very pleasant, because when you went out the door you walked directly into the forest. Highly recommend.

We stayed with Reiner for an extended weekend. Reiner is very helpful . The surroundings are beautiful. Right in nature . A beautiful path on foot leads directly to Linz ,so you only need the car to get there. In the village, there are all the shops you need . The kitchen is very well equipped, so you can also cook like at home . The outdoor terrace is very nice for breakfast and cozy to linger . What was still very positive for us... a very comfortable bed in which we slept well. Around a few relaxing days . We will be happy to come back.

We love it at the Oberprether Mühle and have recovered as well as always. The cabin is very lovingly and tastefully furnished and you have everything you need. The hosts are the favorite hosts you could ask for.

We were for a weekend there and everything was perfect. We were in love with this place. I hope that one day i will come back, maybe in winter 🫠 I was looking so long for a place like that and finally i found one. I already recommend to my friends to come too!

Booking the Wolfshack gave me exactly the peaceful writing retreat that I wanted. Chris was social, friendly and helpful concerning tips for walks that broke up the long writing sits. At the same time I got the space and quiet I was looking for. His garden and the deck he built are amazing for relaxation. The airbnb I would like to come back to for another writing retreat!

We stayed for over a week on our trip to the Nurburgring and it was a calm and nice place to stay at. Jacuzzi was nice and everything else was just as advertized. Recommend this place to others.

If you are looking for peace in nature and in the Eifel, upscale amenities, just want to feel at home... Then you are in the right place!! We had 4 unforgettable days together with our daughter and dog. The location is perfect for peace and very private. If you travel with dogs, you have to adjust to hiking up and down, which is typical of the Eifel, but that's what makes the Eifel and we were used to it anyway. Unfortunately, there is no garden for the dogs, but we knew that and it did not bother us, the walks were all the more beautiful! For this, the terrace behind the house was perfect for lingering, eating at the long table and very private. A highlight for young and old. The whirlpool invites you to relax in the evenings for two, where you can unwind and the sauna is very pleasant after a long walk. The couch and beds are very comfortable and the view is perfect! Cooking, grilling, stowing the ice.. Everything is there :)! We'll be back!

We spent 2 nights in Eva's enchanting hut and enjoyed the nature and tranquility, so close to the city and easy to reach and so wonderfully quiet. The communication with Eva was super uncomplicated and pleasant, we felt very welcome. The kitchen is well equipped, the oven warms and I have - for the first time - chopped wood. The hut is surrounded by horses, chickens and sheep and lots of birdsong. Wonderful! We will be happy to come back.

Perfect place to stay in Cologne, very friendly and helpful hosts, Josef's son was in constant contact with us, as our check-in time was delayed due to problems with the trains. He proved to be a great help in getting around Cologne. I do really reccommend Josef's place. It's a 2min walk to the nearest train station to get to the center, or you can walk to the center in about 30min.Place was very clean and had a nice view of the garden. Lovely hosts in a lovely city. Thanks so much!
