Andre was a truly amazing host. He lives nearby and treated us more like friends than guests. We were even invited to his birthday party — an unforgettable and authentic dive into Brazilian culture. The home is located about 1.5 kilometers up a rocky dirt road, with a 300-meter elevation gain — which probably makes a huge difference during the hot season. The views of the granite mountains are stunning, and you really feel immersed in nature. Monkeys are frequent guests There are fantastic hiking trails nearby, including one that leads to a waterfall, and I especially recommend the trail to Chinesa Vista — one of the most breathtaking views of the city from above. It’s about a 30-minute walk each way and a great little workout

Luiz was extremely helpful and kind, received us super well, responded quickly, gave incredible tips and presented the house. The atmosphere is beautiful, airy, full of character and history. A Vista can't even be talked about, it's a spectacle apart, beauty everywhere. Comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen and super comfortable room. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful walks and simply beautiful to sit and look out. Perfect for a couple's time out. We'd love to come back! Car would be an advantage.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ipanema. The apartment was nice and cozy and was in a perfect location. We were able to access the beach and many restaurants. The pool and sauna were definitely a plus. The hospitality was wonderful! Definitely would stay here again!

First of all, I have to start by saying that Enzo was the best Airbnb host I have ever encountered in my life!!! Always quick to respond, gave me great local recommendations, helped me search for tours, and even approved my request to check out quite late, which was extremely generous and kind. Second, the apartment is great. Comfortable bed with everything you need. Clean and smelled nice. There is a 24/7 very friendly front desk, so I felt safe. Finally, the location is second to none!! You are a 2-minute walk from Copacabana beach, and there are multiple really nice restaurants around the apartment. Thank you so much, Enzo. When I visit Rio again, I will definitely be staying in one of your apartments.

We had an amazing stay at Vergilio’s place! The home was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described in the listing. Check-in was smooth, and Vergilio even met us at the front and took our bags upstairs. He provided clear instructions and was super responsive to any questions. The neighborhood was close to everything we needed—great restaurants, public transport, and beaches. Thanks again Vergilio for helping with the birthday surprise! nice clean place in Santa Teresa in a safe area. check-in was smooth and Matthias was communicative. lots to see in the immediate area as well as local restaurants and bars easy to catch the street cars into town or quickly grab an Uber.. would recommend it visiting rio

Amazing flat with one of the best views of Ipanema! it looks just like the pictures if not better. super close to the beach and the location in general is great with loads of botecos, stores, etc. Julie as a host was amazing, always super responsive and gave us loads of tips. Will definitely try staying here the next time I'm in Rio!

Amazing stay! Close to everything; bakery, market, warehouse, subway, bus stop. Not to mention that next to the apartment there is a very famous restaurant with great prices that is open until 2 or 3 a.m. So I felt super safe arriving late. It would always return!

I highly recommend this home! The apartment is very well located, close to tourist spots and local shops. Easy access to the building and very friendly staff. The apartment itself is perfect for two people, very comfortable and practical for those who will spend more time enjoying the city. Beatriz and Valdemar's accommodation is perfect, it's just like the photos. It's very well equipped. I highlight the good quality of the sheets and towels. Valdemar is a very attentive person, who is willing to help. The building manager is very friendly and attentive. The studio is located on a main street, close to places to eat and shop. A few blocks from the beach and the Laguna. I highly recommend this accommodation, I would definitely come back.

The apartment is exactly as described, it has all the necessary amenities for a great stay (including for long stays). Excellent location, one block from the beach and close to shops (market, pharmacy, bakery, restaurants, etc.). Communication with Joaquim was very fast and clear, he was always very polite. On my next trip to RJ, I'll stay in the same apartment!
