Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Storhaug

We were a large group and easily accommodated in this home. It had an amazing yard to relax in after touring around. We used the kitchen to cook one meal and had everything we needed.

The accommodation is absolutely great. The host is super friendly and helpful!

Great location.. quiet and peaceful but still just a quick walk to get downtown to everything you need!

I would definitely stay again if in Stavanger. The house is beautiful and comfortable. It has a nice sense of peace and you can walk to many restaurants and historical sites very easily.

A very spacious and well-located apartment. The pictures actually don't do the main living room justice - it is so airy and full of light from the roof windows. The location is perfect for exploring the centre of Stavanger on foot and has lots of restaurants literally on your doorstep. Elin was the perfect host. Would definitely book again.

Guro is a gracious host, she responded to messages immediately. We felt very comfortable with her. The apartment is very nice and tastefully decorated. Too bad we couldn't use the terrace as it was raining. We enjoyed the quiet location and very beneficial is also the parking space on the premises. The center is about 20 minutes away (by foot) or by bus. We definitely recommend the apartment. Thank you again Guro.

This is a typical Norwegian small apartment, light, warm and right in the middle of Stavanger. The location is superb, bus and train are 5-10 min walk away as well as everything else in the center of the city. There is a nice pizzeria and ethiopian restaurant just around the corner, and a large general shop about 3 minutes on a way to cathedral. Port is also near as well as several streets packed with bars, restaurant and small shops, practically in every direction you go. The buses are really nice and practical way to go around Stavanger, and we used train to go for a trip a bit further away. Tickets are bought using Kolumbus (bus) and Vy (train) smartphone apps. If you are staying more than 2 days, consider buying 7-day bus ticket, it will be worth it, you will be much more mobile. Menelik is a great host, responsive and nice to communicate. Great experience, I would love to come back.

The location is super convenient with public transit literally at your doorstep, making it easy to explore the area and get into Stavanger. The apartment was cozy and well-equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. We were a group of four, but it’s definitely more comfortable for two. There’s also municipal parking available nearby, which is free during certain hours of the day. Asbjørn was kind and easy to communicate with, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. Highly recommended for couples or solo travelers looking for a hassle-free base in the region!

Great place for long term stayers

The entire stay went well, and the place itself was a very charming☺️ neighborhood delighted with the view, it is very quiet. There is a shop and a stop nearby, which is very easy to get to the center. The apartment has everything you need, it was also very clean. Perfect communication with the host, we got a lot of recommendations. We were also able to meet Inger in person and she is a lovely person☺️ I recommend!

The accommodation was amazing. Travelling with the family can sometimes be a challenge to keep children occupied. However, there was so much to keep them entertained- with a large Smart TV, playstation, games and music. After communicating additional needs of storage downstairs for my daughter's wheelchair, Snorre, accomadated this request with trust and ease. The centre of Stavanger is very accessible via a couple different walking routes and a bus route to/from Kongsgata (near Cathedral) that we used once to miss a shower. Overall, it was one of our top accommodations to date and would recommend to anyone.

Everything was great! The apartment is nice, impeccable, easy to access (even to park the car) and rather well located even on foot (15 min from the hyper-center). Recommended without hesitation!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was really helpful, responded quickly to all our messages, and was very friendly throughout. He also gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. We especially appreciated that he took the time to stop by in person. It really made us feel welcome. The house itself was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Great accommodation!! Can absolutely recommend!! The location to the city center is perfect, on foot you are in the center in 20 minutes. You can park in the Øvre Banegate for 150 NOK (about 13 euros) for 1 day (until midnight - the rest of the night is also no problem😉) Great amenities (e.g. lots of ingredients in the kitchen (oil, pepper, salt, coffee, etc.) everything there. Very small drawback: The bed is quite soft, but you still sleep quite well).

Very nice spacious accommodation, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. We really enjoyed spending a few days there. In 25 minutes of walking, we find ourselves in the city center of Stavanger. Discreet hosts but available in case of questions.

We were very happy with our stay! Very modern, cozy, with a beautiful panorama of the city. Everything you needed was available. The apartment is perfectly pampered, even coffee beans in a jar on the fridge, everything prepared with taste and care! Kitchen equipped for a comfortable stay, even shower gels available - like in a hotel! As soon as we are in this area, we will certainly use it again. We recommend it 100%
