Beautiful and super comfortable house for a family stay, with canal front and very manicured garden in a quiet and very beautiful village. 30 minutes drive to Amsterdam. Bike tours can also be made from De Rijp. Easy communication with the host, always available. Three handmade cats keep you company during your stay :)

Irma was a friendly interested host, easy to get in touch with. Delicious place, it was just a little too cold to sit outside but next to the pipo wagon there is a greenhouse where it is nice to sit and delicious in terms of temperature. Cozy furnished, everything fine and definitely recommended!

We had a fantastic weekend at 't Holthus! An oasis of peace, surrounded by beautiful nature and with all the comfort you could wish for. The cottage was stylishly furnished, sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. The hot tub was of course a highlight. The warm welcome and personal touches of the owners made our stay extra special. Perfect for recharging for a while.

In 2016, I already spent a weekend with friends in the Coach House. I liked that, so just booked again. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Sjoerd and Jeltsje. Fresh eggs, flowers and a welcome card on the table. The Carriage House is an oasis of peace just a few minutes from Dokkum. Behind the cottage you can enjoy the beautiful view from the wind in the spring sun. Also nice that we were free to take a look in the stables. In the evening we had a nice glass of wine in the hot tub. The downside was the extra cost; the hot tub was more expensive than listed on Airbnb and it was also not indicated that we had to pay extra for the towels (€15 for 5). Too bad, because we would have brought them ourselves. Nevertheless, it is and remains a great place to relax and enjoy.

Highly recommend this sweet little farm in a peaceful village. We loved the sheep and lambs and even got to watch a little one be born! Instructions on yurt temperature management, wood stove and wood fired hot tub were clear and easy. We borrowed bikes and rode through the tulip fields to the beach. Such a nice family and surroundings after the bustle of Amsterdam!

We enjoyed our stay in the tiny house very much! Great for families, with beautiful nature and walking paths starting at your doorstep.

The house is sensational. Very impressive high rooms, huge and very tastefully furnished. There is everything you need. You can park right in front of the house. Just right for our family trip (10 person). We wanted a quiet house near the North Sea. Sandra and Nic are great host. We can all recommend the house.

We have a lovely stay! The cottage is very cozy. Everything has been thought of! The jacuzzi was also really enjoyable. Lovely on the water. Unfortunately, it was not really back to sail but we could dock the boat at the house! If you have any questions, you'll be answered. Highly recommended to book. And wonderful to enjoy!

We had a wonderful long weekend in the safari tent - even the rain could not spoil the great experience. The tent was exactly as described: cozy, clean and perfectly equipped. It was an exciting little adventure, especially for the children, which they will not forget so quickly forget. We really liked the quiet location and the seclusion - just the thing to switch off and enjoy nature. Johannes was a great host: very helpful, friendly and always quick to respond when we had a question. Thank you for this special break - we will be happy to come back!

We felt very comfortable right from the beginning. Great as a starting point for beautiful bike rides. We enjoyed the particularly large green natural garden with a square on the canal and with it the many bird voices we heard. Nearest larger place with all imaginable shopping by bike about 15 minutes away.

Very pleasant stay with 10 friends, something different than a standard holiday home, which makes it fun. Friendly atmosphere in and outside the house, friendly neighbours. In addition, excellent and fast communication by Anco. All questions were answered quickly and clearly.

Even though we had a very wet weekend, we had many opportunities to have a good time. Whether it was on the boat, in the village, where you could sit very comfortably everywhere, or of course in Anneke's house. Everything was available there, just like at home, and we always made ourselves comfortable in the evening with the family. Thanks for the stay.

We stayed here with New Year's Eve to avoid the noise from the Randstad for our dog and puppy. Not completely quiet but in relation to home: perfect. Dog was restless for 10 minutes around midnight and otherwise just relaxed. Cottage is brand new with very comfortable sofa, comfortable beds and kitchen with all the trimmings. The only downside was that the water heater did not have enough water for the bath to fill completely with hot water (even without showering on that day) but that is a detail. We were very unlucky with the weather but I can imagine it will be beautiful here in spring or summer!

Unfortunately, we were only there for 2 full days.... The stay was very nice, the nature and the tranquility you have there is top 👍 accommodation was well and cleanly furnished and Gerda welcomed us very friendly. We would love to come back in the future!

We had a lovely stay in the Rietgans! Could have sat and listened to the birds in the evenings for hours, very nice quiet place in a lovely location. Check in with Gerrit was great!

Fantastic place for a getaway! The house is a bit hidden but once you have found it, bombastic! Nice layout and amenities. We felt very comfortable. With the lake and outdoor swimming pool within walking distance we had a very nice summer vacation. The place is very cute and the people very hospitable. The house is highly recommended.

Great place for anyone who loves horses and nature. Nice and quiet but you can still get to the city quickly. In the evening we had a visit on the stairs of 2 cats who were very happy about petting. At night we underlined the silence of the again and hustle and bustle of the horses in the stable. We thought that was very nice The apartment was reasonably clean and well equipped. Only a large bowl for salad and a few deep plates were missing. We only saw Jan briefly on departure, but he met us very friendly. All in all, a very successful and beautiful stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

We loved our stay at Thomas's place. The caravan is spacious and equipped with every comfort. The terrace was also very complete in terms of furniture with both sun and shade. However, we were bothered by mosquitoes so we definitely recommend bringing a mosquito spray.

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

Nice, well-maintained, friendly campsite. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. Good location, close to the beach.

Marco's chalet is a small, but wonderful place. It's situated directly behind a private marina, in the first row of a settlement of similar chalets. The neighborhood is very quiet, allowing for relaxing on the terrace any time of the day. Nearby a secure bathing area for little kids, with a small sandy beach. We did some excursions to Sneek (a middle-sized town, ~25 minutes) and small villages at the shore of the ijsselmeer (eg. Stavoren, Hindeloopen, each ~25 minutes), which were each totally worth it. Super picturesque! and some nice restaurants, too. We can highly recommend renting Marco's place if you'd like to have a restful couple of days!
