One of the Best Airbnb Stays We've Had! This villa was truly one of the best Airbnb properties we’ve ever stayed in. It’s a spacious house with all modern amenities, beautifully maintained and perfectly located. The views of the Black Forest from both the living room and bedroom were absolutely stunning. The large balcony with a dining table made it perfect for enjoying meals with a breathtaking view. The villa also has a beautiful garden and a lovely outdoor sitting area, perfect for relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The private sauna and wellness area were a fantastic bonus — we wish we had booked a couple more days to enjoy it even more! Melanie was a wonderful and friendly host, making our stay even more comfortable. Just a note for future guests: having your own transportation is essential, as there’s no public transport nearby. We’re already looking forward to visiting again!

I live in Airbnbs and originally booked Claire’s house for 3 nights and extended it two more once I realized how great it is. All the other reviews are accurate about location and quality. It’s full of books and other non-IKEA things that make you feel at home. The apartment, even though downstairs, has its own outdoor space and feels airy You can get into Freiburg very easily by public transport and there are walking trails directly from the house. Plenty to do. Bring a bike if you can. I would absolutely stay here again.

A much more welcoming feel than the pictures suggest – cozy, with beautiful views in a lovely setting. Fantastic walking right from the doorstep, and a great golf course with restaurants and a spa also within walking distance. Spotlessly clean throughout.

Rundum begeistert 👍😍. Wir waren 1 Woche zu Zweit mit unseren Vierbeinern in der wunderschönen Unterkunft von Petra und Roger. Bereits vor Antritt unserer Reise hatten wir einen so freundlichen Kontakt mit Petra und Roger. Alles verlief von Anfang bis Ende einfach wunderbar. Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum, sauber, wunderschön eingerichtet, mit viel Privatsphäre und mit Allem, was das Herz begehrt 🙏❤. Die Lage ist perfekt, mit sehr vielen Möglichkeiten an Ausflügen (Wutachschlucht, Schluchsee, Rheinfall, Titisee, Bodensee, Zürich u.v.m.). Ein perfekter Ort, um Ruhe und Erholung auf dem Land zu genießen und trotzdem viel ansehen zu können. Last but not least, sind Petra und Roger perfekte, liebevolle Gastgeber 😍, die immer erreichbar waren und mit wertvollen Tipps zu Seite standen. Einfach 5 Sterne 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 für Alle und Alles 👍🙏. This was truly the most beautiful home and location. We drove from Basel and it was easy to find. Great amenities. The home was absolutely spotless and well equipped. It was just stunning. With the views from full length windows to the stream and being able to walk out in to the forest. There were local goats which were a big hit with the kids. We had a teenage boy and 7 year old girl and both loved it. If you have kids, there is a theme park about 1 hour or so away and a beautiful swimming complex about 20 mins away. But honestly, just staying at the house and hiking was the best. I would stay here again and would highly recommend. The hosts met us to let us in and changed our check-in when our flight times were changed by the airline which helped so much. I can not fault it. Perfection.

Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist traumhaft ruhig, mitten in der Natur. Der perfekte Ort für eine Auszeit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Stayed here with 2 kids. Beautiful flat, amazing views over the lake and an ideal location just a short walk into the town and from the train station. The main bed was SO comfy, heating was very quick to kick in and cosy. Kitchen well equipped. Thank you.

We stayed here with family of five and really loved our experience. The space was super cute and designed incredibly well. We had plenty of room to stretch out. Our favorite standouts would be the hike to the waterfall right out the back door, the sauna at the end of a long day, and our kids loved the toys they had on hand. As a family we loved eating on the patio and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. It was easy to get to a number of great close by destinations. We loved it and want to come back in the winter!!!

Lovely and well-thought out apartment. Perfect for couples or digital nomads. Benjamin put great thought and detail into the space, which had everything we needed--even hot water bottles, blankets, and chargers. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and walkable, and we enjoyed the local restaurants and live music. The apartment had lots of windows, a comfortable bed, and plenty of dish-ware and cutlery to cook. Benjamin is friendly, helpful, and quick to respond, and the space was clean and well-furnished. Would recommend to anyone, and am hoping to one day return!

David is an amazing host, he is very responsive and suggested some nice places to visit in the area. The accommodation is a beautiful and well maintained apartment, it is more beautiful than the picture. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful, has a nice view. There is an EV charger at the property. Would definitely recommend this place.

Een erg mooi appartement in een mooie omgeving! Het appartement was erg schoon, van alle gemakken voorzien en luxe ingericht met een mooi uitzicht. André reageert snel en is erg behulpzaam. Het is een aanrader om hier te verblijven!

Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und hat eine sehr gute Lage direkt am Rhein. Es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen Ferienaufenthalt benötigt. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und die Zeit dort sehr genossen.

Geräumige blitzsaubere Ferienwohnung mit modernisiertem Bad. Sehr schnelle Kontaktaufnahme und Bearbeitung unserer Anfrage, super flexibel was den Bezug der Ferienwohnung angeht. Alles in allem eine runde Sache!

Die Unterkunft hat uns rundum begeistert! Sie ist sehr gut gelegen, alles war schnell und bequem erreichbar. Die Wohnung selbst ist geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man kommt rein und fühlt sich sofort wohl. Es war sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können sie absolut weiterempfehlen!

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung direkt wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist mit allem möglichen ausgestattet, es gibt viele Spiele und Bücher - auch ein Geduldspiel, das wir leider nicht lösen konnten 😅 In ca 8 min an der Bushaltestelle, wobei der Bus am Sonntag nur sehr sporadisch fährt. Zu Fuß ist man aber auch in ca 15-20 min am Paula-Modersohn-Platz und von dort mit der Stadtbahn Richtung Freiburg. Würden auf jeden Fall nochmal kommen!

It was a beautiful and peaceful place with an outside table with chairs. It is as described and when we ran into a problem with a broken iPhone lead they helped us straightway. We are extremely grateful for it all

Inge is a great host. She made sure we knew how to get to her apartment and printed Baselcard transit passes for us. The first floor apartment is located in a quiet and lovely neighborhood and has good WiFi, all amenities needed for a comfortable stay, and access to a pleasant back yard. Inge even provided milk, bread, eggs and fruit for our stay. We would be happy to stay here again on future trips.

We had a great time in Basel and Ivan’s apartment was perfect for our needs. Close to the city centre and comfortably accommodated 6 people. I would recommend it as a great place to stay for a visit to Basel.

We spent a wonderful week staying with Maj Britt and Klaus at their beautiful winery and loved every moment of it. From start to finish, they were the perfect hosts — always helpful and welcoming without ever being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel at home. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the wine tasting and it was great to hear more about the winery! The accommodation was exactly what we were after: clean, tidy, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a relaxing stay. Also it is a great location close to Freiburg and the Black Forest. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience — we’d love to visit again!
