Waterfront holiday rentals in Traunsee

Everything was just wonderful - the location, the apartment and the hosts. We were at the Mondsee cycling marathon on site and enjoyed not only the great central location, but also the top equipment of the apartment and not least the fact that it was always pleasantly cool in the apartment due to the old vault (which is really an unbeatable plus at over 30° C). We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back! :)

Great apartment and johannes responded very quickly to our question! 30 mins walk but we found the bus 5 mins walk away, no 3 and no 8! Salzburg was amazing, will definitely come back!

This bnb was convenient to Salzburg yet also had a secluded and private feel to it. Only a few km from Salzburg, this spacious rental was large enough for my family of 5. The property backed up to a beautiful forest and creek. Bea was a great host, giving local recommendations, clear check in instructions, and responded promptly to any needs we had.

WoW! This home hits the nail on the head. The view is better than on the pictures and so is the decor. It was like a new home. Directly across the street, there is a penny market and other shopping. The area is like a fairytale and the hosts are super accessible. Everything simple and fantastic!!! If we come to Austria again, come here!

We could only use the place for one day but were happy with everything. We were received very warmly. The apartment is furnished and designed with a lot of love and attention.

Great location, big and cozy house.

We found a rustic alpine hut, arrived in the cold and fog, but then were rewarded with a breathtaking panorama! A beautiful cottage that invites you from the first moment, super well equipped, a warming stove for cold days, places to linger and dream. Great hikes along the lakes or to the peaks. A dream, a place to return to!

Beautiful place! We loved the local hikes, summer toboggan, and exploring nearby towns.

We had a great stay. We appreciate the privacy of the house, it's an ideal stay for families with small kids. I hope we can come back again one day!

We will definitely revisit this apartment. Spotless, full kitchen, separate bedroom. Comfortable and lovely furniture and bed. Lovely, sunny living room. Handy washing machine. One of the best B&B we've ever had.

Diana is a very friendly and helpful host who responds promptly to questions. The apartment is modern and tastefully furnished, so we felt very comfortable. The location is also fantastic, directly opposite the valley station of the cable car and with views of the valley downhill. With the gondola, you can get to the Dachstein West ski area very quickly. The apartment also includes a heated compartment in the ski depot. A general store where you can get fresh rolls and the most necessary everyday items is within walking distance. There are also a few restaurants in the village. We enjoyed the days in Rußbach very much and would come back anytime.

The house was as in the photos and the view from each windows is spectacular!! And from the balcony. There is a train track nearby so it's great to take pics. and lots of stars at night. The house was spacious and the structure was unique. Liked it! It was in a walkable location from the center. The kitchen had dishes, cups, cutleries, salt and pepper so it was easy to cook simple dishes. Bed was comfy. The ceiling in the shower is a bit slanted but no big issues (already described in the description). The road to the house was a bit narrow so we drove light a snail lol. Silke provided us clear instructions for check-in and check-out at the right timing.

We have been very lucky. We loved Claudia and Claudia's apartment. It was perfect for us. Warm, cosy and with everything we needed. The village of Fuschl and the lake are delightful and well placed for trips around. Her recommendation to use the bus for Salzburg was a good idea. There is a bakery and a grocer just a few steps away. We can't wait to go back.

Sandra’s home was a perfect stay. Conveniently located and well equipped. I’ve been in 7 other Airbnbs in the last month in Europe and this hands down has the best shower and most comfortable bed -it felt like home. Sandra had great recommendations and was quick to responding. It felt nice and quiet despite the foot traffic outside (it’s a main road). I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a great weekend at Villa Traunseeblick. Herta, our host, graciously accepted our last minute booking. The apartment was very clean, well equipped with everything you needed and had an amazing outdoor space to relax and enjoy views of the lake. It was very comfortable and just what we needed. Apartment in Wels: Quiet, close to the center (car recommended), parking right in front of the house. Access and entrance without steps. Both bedrooms have access to the bathroom (and toilet separated by a partition wall). In addition to curtains and drapes, there are also shutters for very good darkening. Children's room = play paradise (books, games, vehicles, etc. in very good condition - we hope that future guests will also take care of them).

sonja her apartment is fantastic! I stayed with my colleagues for work it's very specious and clean at a perfect location few minutes walk from the lovely centre off mondsee few minutes from the supermarket and 10 minutes walk from the lake ! easy to park as well ! hopefully we will be back
