Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Tuckahoe

This was a wonderful, charming place. So easy to find and check in. It was absolutely clean and tidy. Check in and check out were easy. I was a little nervous at first for street parking in Richmond can be difficult, but it wasn't an issue at any time of the day or evening when we returned to the home. Sitting on the porch enjoying the weather after a day of touring the city was so pleasant. The area is peaceful and quiet. It is perfectly placed for access to all activities in Richmond but quiet and restful in the evening and sleeping, away from the hustle bustle of the city. We will happily stay again when the need arises.

The Cozy Cottage was fantastic! Rose was an excellent host and made sure all things that were necessary to make our stay great for our family vacation were there. Hot tub was a plus and the backyard for our pup was perfect! Very quiet and very private location. We felt right at home! Hope to come again! Thank you Rose!

This place was great! The location makes it easy to get to many places in Richmond quickly and it was a perfect location for a family wedding in nearby Maymont. The house is beautiful and the furnishings very comfortable. The pool was a special bonus - lovely and relaxing with incredible plantings. Clearly a lot of time was spent considering what guests might want. I just wish we'd had more time to enjoy it.

Charming house in a lovely part of Richmond. It was close to parks and downtown. We loved the backyard and were able to host my 87 yr old father in law and his wife. They enjoyed sitting in the comfortable outdoor chairs while our dog chased rabbits in the big back yard.

BEAUTIFUL HOME! My mom loved the nostalgia of the home from the pay phone to the wallpaper to the sun room. Loved this home. Will book again the next time I come into town.

We had a wonderful time attending our nephew’s high school graduation in Richmond. The location was terrific and particularly helpful to my 80 year old parents to have everything on the ground floor with an attached walk in shower. The house is cute and had everything we needed. We highly recommend this house.

This Airbnb location was a perfect location in Glen Allen for a long weekend getaway! It was in a very quiet neighborhood which I enjoyed and had no issues at all. The house is located on a slight hill which provided more privacy for the home. There was plenty of space for us four adults and a toddler. Host was extremely communicative and easy to contact. Would stay here again!

Great location! It is located close to W Broad so convenient to everything. We stayed for my son’s UR graduation and it was easy to get to campus. Parking is readily available on the street- we always parked directly in front of the house. We didn’t have time to walk, but from the car the neighborhood looked safe. The house has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. It worked well for 3 of us. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was fine. Fenced backyard.

We stayed for a volleyball tournament. We were able to get there by walking in under 10 minutes. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. The canal walk is close and there is a playground across the street.

Had a great time! Essence was a wonderful host! Granted, we didn’t need anything extra, as everything was ready to go. The location was a great location, with many fun things to do. Though the area was loud, it was still a great situation.

Great spot to stay right in the middle of the action. Lots of restaurants and things to do. you can walk everywhere if you want but the apartment also offers 2 parking spots at the garage across the street. The rooftop terrace was excellent with a great view especially at night or if you want to hear the birds sing in the morning while you drink your coffee. I have seen some complaints on the level of noise but to be honest we did not have that problem. I would say if you want any peace and quite don't stay in the heart of a city. But if you do it will be well worth it and give Kristy a try. Thanks and we will see you next time.

I highly recommend Mary as a host and her beautiful cottage. I will definitely stay here again if I travel this way. She is a wonderful person and her place is immaculately clean, well equipped and peaceful.

I had a great time staying here, Shaniesha was very responsive and proactive in making sure I had all the information I needed to make my check in very easy. the airbnb was very comfortable and clean, plenty of stores and places to eat within a short walking distance. a very short and easy drive to most places in downtown Richmond. This listing made me look forward to visiting Richmond more often this summer.

Paula’s was very nice!! I wish that we had more time to enjoy it. If I am ever in the Richmond area again I would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay in Manchester very much! We had fun exploring the area, but it was also very close and convenient to downtown Richmond. The house is a nice size, and parking was easy. The mattresses were also very comfortable! Overall, a great stay.

Loved staying here, though there wasn't much to do around it is within a 30 minute drive to Williamsburg! Enjoyed the peaceful setting as it was great for our dog! The wifi didn't work well but was nice to be disconnected a bit, would recommend staying here for a quite time!

This home was a dream come true for our getaway! It is in a very ideal location and not too close to your neighbors. We loved the house amenities - the pool table and hot tub were used most by our family. The king beds were the most comfortable mattresses we'd ever slept on and the pillows were great too! The kitchen was a great size for hosting all 10 of us and the living room furniture was comfortable. We loved getting in the lake and it felt fairly clean. We especially loved the water being warm and see through. Having the kayak and paddleboards made it extra special. Be aware that there can be a lot of boat traffic on busy weekends (to be expected) and it will result in quite a few large waves in your swimming area. My toddler loved playing in the sand and looking at the fish from the boathouse dock. We'd rent from Daniel anytime we are in Lake Anna. He was always helpful and responsive 24/7. We appreciated having a caring host and he made our stay extra special.

Much needed peaceful, private getaway!! Fun unique setting. Nice newly updated bathroom and kitchen were a great addition to the otherwise rustic ambience.

Absolutely beautiful. Fresh eggs when I arrived and an offer for more later. So friendly and attentive. They gave me exactly what I wanted. I am a private person, living by myself, and whenever they had to fix a fence or do something anywhere near the property, they would let me know. Yet, I know if I had been one of those people who wanted to be out and chatting, they would have welcomed me to come over and socialize. Very accommodating and helpful. My stay was a dream and I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone, especially someone with pets or kids. It was a dream.

We had a lovely stay and created wonderful memories with our friends and family at this beautiful log cabin. This is the perfect place if you are looking for a remote getaway that is still easy access to Richmond, which has plenty to do. Our favorite was waking up and looking at the 3 horses, taking walks down to the river, and our kids playing together in the playroom, which has all the toys a kid could ever want. The home is absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly, helpful, and responsive. We would highly recommend staying here.

This was our FOURTH year at Lighthouse Cove, and it was better than ever! This feels like home at the lake; warm and inviting with all needs covered, but clear of clutter. The forecast looked wet during our whole stay, but that quickly changed and we were out in the lake daily! The floating lily pad this year was a total game changer!! If you have kids def take advantage of it and the beach area/playground 2 doors over. The beds are extremely comfortable, and bathrooms well equipped with tons of towels and complimentary shampoo/wash. The second fridge is always utilized and the huge island and full length pantry are perfect for ALL the snacks! Toula is so sweet and responsive to any and all questions. She’s a fantastic host! Can’t wait for year #5!
